Episode 398 - Science Says

04/09/2021181 Comments

The mouthpieces of the scientific establishment have identified the latest global security threat: antiscience. So what does that mean, exactly? Whatever they want it to mean, of course! This week on The Corbett Report podcast, James explores the game of Science Says that the self-appointed experts are playing with the public and outlines how that game is about to get a whole lot darker.

If you torture science long enough it will tell you what you want to hear.

    • TruthSeeker says:

Here are a couple of Dictionary Definitions for the English word “Science”

      This one is from Marian-Webster
      2)Definition of science

1 : the state of knowing : knowledge as distinguished from ignorance or misunderstanding
2a : a department of systematized knowledge as an object of study the science of theology
b : something (such as a sport or technique) that may be studied or learned like systematized knowledge have it down to a science
3a : knowledge or a system of knowledge covering general truths or the operation of general laws especially as obtained and tested through scientific method
b : such knowledge or such a system of knowledge concerned with the physical world and its phenomena : natural science
4 : a system or method reconciling practical ends with scientific laws cooking is both a science and an art
      5 capitalized : christian science

Note; that Real “Science” is a search for the “Truth” of Nature. Thus, turning Fiction into virtual Science is a way of turning Truth into Lies, or Good into Bad. This is an extension of the Anti-Christ.
Jesus Christ taught that “Truth” or Real “Science” was the Light that will set you free from enslavement. Devil Worshipers deliberately use propaganda to invert Bad for Good, Lies for Truth, and a Perverted Agenda for “Science”
Thus, I say, “Satan Says” is a better representation of what we are being fed by the Professional Main Stream Propagandists.

  2. padraig says:

great article sir. as an aside i’d like to thank satan for taking one of his favorites into the fold as it were. a truly evil mother fucker has finally left this earth and i’ll be cheering that a little later on this evening. a lovely slow sip at some irish whiskey i do believe.

Watching this video on your YouTube channel. Suddenly at minute 4.55 it appeared as “unavailable”. They took it down.

YOUR YOUTUBE ACCOUNT JUST HAS BEEN TERMINATED! Just checked at 5:26pm Eastern European time zone.

I guess that was it?? Congrats James 😉

      Congratulations James!!!

As usual james rips the mask off the globalists and their plot , f youtube . You the man James ! <3

    • UKJC says:

James, a great video, really heartfelt and as a result more persuasive, the fact that you get science and its philosophy adds weight. The irony that this balanced piece led to your demise on the GooTube just underlines the trouble we are in with regard to reasoned argument, the whole point of the piece. I’ll be logging in daily here from now on. Take care all.

    • Ethan Hunter says:

Thankfully, I watched this episode on Bitchute and again on corbettreport.com…I haven’t logged into YouTube for about 5 days now.

      I hope to make that a habit…

    • aaronk says:

Just adding my congratulations too. Scientism, the straw that broke the camels back.

  4. willnyu says:

I was right in the middle of watching Science Says when seem to have been turfed from You Tube

Your channel doesn’t show up there at all for me now

  5. zyxzevn says:

Forum where I keep track of corrupt science:

Scientific American has now become completely a propaganda mouthpiece.

    The technocratic brainwashing:

Technocrats have nothing to do with real science, but everything
    to do with brainwashing.

The word anti-science seems to be invented by Technocrats to push away
any science that did not conform with their political ideology.
I saw it first being used against people who did not want GMO
(mainly due to the pesticides and spreading through the environment).
Or people who found out that nuclear energy was producing harmful waste,
    and has other safety problems.

At the second stage it was used against “anti-vaxers” by making
it seem that it was just a religious issue.

    The “anti-science” concept is brainwashing
to make people forget about basic safety.

And lack of safety has already contributed
to a trillion of deaths if not more.
    (includes all our ancestors)

    • zyxzevn says:

      Taking America Over The Cliff
Tony Heller explains how a few scientists have been altering the climate data
to make global warming seem real.
The real hockeystick is the data-tempering by the scientists.
The real scientists that knew better were removed from funding,
and got smeared by the press.

This manipulation shows how easy it is for politicians to completely
dominate and corrupt a branch of science without much resistance.
Now add some companies with huge budgets of money,
and people like Bill Gates, and understand
that the pushed “science says” by the media
      is completely devoid of reality.

    • zyxzevn says:

Dr Peter McCullough Says Highly Effective Early Treatment For Covid Has Been Censored

Knew someone who died from Covid? (And not with Covid)
Know that the person died, because all the treatments that worked well,
      were extremely censored.

      • TruthSeeker says:

Indeed, Hydroxycloriquin and Ivermectin with Zinc and Vitamin D work better that any of the Experimental Injections. Had the Greedy Drug Manufactures not deliberately concealed “the Science” (studies showing that these Drugs with Zinc cured Corona Infections), then there would have been no Pandemic. There is actually a Law on the Books that requires the use of known Drugs before pushing a Vaccine (much less an Experimental Injection).
There are many Holistic Doctors that claim 100% recovery rates from Covid without hospitalization using Oxygen therapy and existing Drugs.
Note that Ventilators killed more people than they saved.
Trump did a great job of making sure that every hospitalized person in the USA could be put on a Ventilator. By the time they found out that they were actually killing people, they had 800,000 extra Ventilators which they put in storage.
This has to be part of bigger plan to turn the USA into a third world dystopian nightmare.

        • mkey says:

You somehow take it verbatim that there is indeed a “pandemic”. In that context, how would you define a “pandemic” and how do you know there is one in effect?

    • zyxzevn says:

Medical Professionals here, why do you think others have not spoken out?

      • MC BCSurvivor says:

One of the first comments (and probably the main reason for most of them)

“I’m afraid my career will be ruined. I can’t risk that with kids.”

When their kids die from the injection or possibly the doctor or his wife, I wonder how they will feel about the career choices.

        • cu.h.j says:

Physicians in particular (here in the US) undergo lengthy training/indoctrination into the medical system that promotes standards of “following the experts” rather than thinking for oneself or using all that training to come to thoughtful conclusions.

There is a lot of indoctrination in the field of nursing too though especially around vaccines but I have noticed less compliance among nurses than physicians.

Why don’t more doctors speak out? Because they want to stay employed and keep their license probably. Many doctors who question vaccines or write too many exemptions will get disciplined by the medical board. It’s like a witch hunt.

I have never supported lockdowns or mandatory vaccines nor have I had flu shots in about 5 years. I went to some protests too and don’t wear masks outside. But I haven’t been as forthcoming and open at work with everyone in my local hospital because I am afraid of the possibility of losing my job. There are two people at work who are also against all the hysteria and tyranny that I have spoken to a little about how I feel.

Right now I really need the extra income because I bought some land in another state and am developing it and can’t take a huge risk by going out in public and telling people this lockdown is wrong and unnecessary and that I am also a nurse and see it’s unnecessary. Nurses aren’t really considered “experts “ like doctors are so no one would probably listen to me anyway. If I had another income stream I would be more vocal. It’s definitely an ethical dilemma.

          • weilunion says:

“If I had another income stream I would be more vocal. It’s definitely an ethical dilemma.”

Ethical and strategic. Go it alone, hyper individualism gives the illusion that one can escape the morass: but individually we cannot.

People need to unite to support each other, not pull out. Until they do, there will be nothing more than fragmented response and destroyed lives.

            • cu.h.j says:

I agree people need to form communities and work together and respect each other and individual differences.

By purchasing land in another state and developing it, I can have more to share with others and trade with others. As it is now, I’m a city dweller in an apartment and unable to grow a lot of food.

My “liberal” city is very supportive of all the Covid 1984 restrictions and vaccines and masks and all that bs. It’s hard to live here anymore. There are a few non believers, but the vast majority really believe the government is acting in our best interest.

My city is also one of the highest paid places to work, and this has allowed me to afford land at all.

You do raise important points about community. I don’t think anyone can do anything all by themselves.

    • zyxzevn says:

COVID Scandal: Feds Ignored 2016 Law Requiring Use of Real World Evidence
Starting a year ago, courageous front-line doctors generated RWE because they were curing COVID patients with protocols that kept patients out of hospitals. Real world data showed the effectiveness of cheap generics like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to cure and prevent COVID-19. Dr. Vladimir Zelenko used RWE language early on and this February, in light of over 2 million COVID deaths globally, noted: “The problem is that the medical world and governments ignored REAL WORLD EVIDENCE.”

… 70 to 80% of COVID deaths could have – and still can be – prevented by using the cheap and effective protocols.
..Outrageously, despite huge numbers of hospitalizations and deaths, the government did not use RWE to support use of documented protocols for early home/outpatient COVID treatment and prophylactic use.

..Every time you see data on COVID deaths remember that most could have been prevented if the government had honored the statutory mandate to use RWE. Following the science legally means using RWE.

Now, some “experts” are calling for more shutdowns, mask mandates and school closing. Congress should hold a hearing and put Fauci and other officials on the spot. How can they justify not obeying the 2016 law? How can they ignore all the RWE for protocols proven to cure COVID patients when given early to them?

It does not seem to go into the fake science and media campaigns
that were used to counter these well working medicines.
They poisoned people with overdose, invented fake hospitals,
gave medicine far too late, never followed the protocols,
and made up fake stories about the protocols and the doctors.

In just one year the well known journals replaced science with fakery and propaganda.
      It started before that.
But if it anything now gets published in one of these journals,
it is probably fake and part of a narrative.

      • TruthSeeker says:

When evil people control the money supply bad things happen. Drug companies are owned by some bad people who control the media by way of advertising dollars. They also control Congress through Campaign contributions and they have the most Lobbyists. Add to that the funding of Slanted Studies and the control of Professional Journals, and it would appear they have everything all wrapped-up.
That is why we have to keep supporting dedicated Independent Journalists like James Corbett who have integrity and know what is right.

    • Ethan Hunter says:

      Very astute observation!

As Patrick Wood outlined on Technocracy News, Scientism IS the ideology of Technocrats.

He breaks that down in great detail here:

      • zyxzevn says:

        Just a small addition:
Scientism is not science at all.

They use logical fallacies all the time.
        Appeal to authority
        Appeal to majority
        No True Scotsman
        Appeal to emotion
        Burden of proof
        Circular reasoning

I think that they can not deal with
complex chaotic reality and dumb it down.

Indeed a perfect religion for a totalitarian system.

        • weilunion says:

Scientism is not science and you make a good point. What you list are reasoning fallacies. And they are the fallacies that are made either consciously or unconsciously by everyone.

The key is intent. Is the fallacy being used to manage my perceptions by someone, or is it simply an honest mistake in reasoning?

Differentiating science from scientism is the key point.

The fallacious mind is found in all aspects of human thinking.

Critical thinking is the antidote. Thinking about thinking, while your thinking, to make thinking better really helps in seeing fallacies in your own thinking and that of others.

You might wish to investigate science and paradigms with Thomas Kuhn.

Bravo, Mr. Corbett. An informative and revealing piece with a wealth of context and excellently demonstrating your prescience on this critical topic. You’ve also finally flown so directly over the target that they’ve removed you from their controlled platform. I for one will be celebrating on your behalf.

  9. khalil says:

You finally did it you glorious bastard, you’ve been nuked by gootube 🙂

  10. 515 says:

Israel has 10 million people and have reported obtaining “herd immunity” but also openly admit to not vaccinating any of the 5 million Palestinians who live in the occupied territories so do the math.

The Chile comments are crazy too because they have the most repressive lockdown in the world. People have to obtain passes to leave their homes at all and are only permitted 2 hours at a time.

The lockdowns took place days before a new presidential election 8 months ago. The government locked down the indigenous and are currently illegally strip mining their lands while upgrading from lockdown to Marshall Law due to “people not doing what they are told” and where are these people who are so defiant?

Well on the land the government has been trying to strip for decades, those are the people who are bad and must be locked down.

Whitney Webb does great work on this and she was also axed by patreon but she manged to get them to admit something telling, they actually said “It is not informations accuracy in dispute. The information is likely to DISUADE people from getting the vaccine”

They actually type those words and hit the send button.

    • zyxzevn says:

New York and Sweden had herd immunity last year. Still it came back a bit,
because T-cell herd immunity needs vit-D to be maintained.

But if you kill off the weak elderly with dangerous experimental mRNA therapies,
you prevent that they get infected.
(Note: there were far more elderly deaths than could be expected from Covid).
So the experimental mRNA injections “work”..

Israel’s numbers fall due to seasonal changes of spring, and in Chile they
rise due to the seasonal changes of Autumn.
Vit-D seems to be the best indication for the swing of the numbers.

In countries where the virus has been reduced dramatically,
is where they did nothing. Or where the measures were not enforced.
Because the virus is extremely weak and can mainly affect the weak.
And because the measures are actually not working at all, or even
making matters worse (like masks or stay-inside).
And those that became victims can be treated extremely well
      with anti-viral medicine.

I am glad that #PropagandaWatch is back!

    • Fedor says:

The reason I miss those series is NOT that I want someone to debunk this blatant lie for me, NOT that I need to know about propaganda technics more than I do and NOT even that sometimes you just need to see the light of hope and common sense to overcome madness, BUT because it does remind me under how much pressured are those people around me, those ‘normies’ who cant comprehend that they are living through such an illusion. I wake up some day and say to myself ‘nah, none is believes this anymore’, but they still do. And it is like cold shower.

They are being bombarded with propaganda so severely on such an astonishing way and scale. Some are smaller lies just setting direction of thinking some are bigger ones laying agenda in open without any sweeteners. But it is all around and it ends nowhere.

Myself I cant go deep into such articles because I feel sick even on the surface. Literally it is like like being turned inside out. And without being drowned into this by force I cant return to the same page with normies. Thank you, James.

  12. Rei says:

This video has been posted timely for me – just today, my industry has been encouraging me and colleagues to pay to attend a seminar in which we will learn, in short, how to convince patients to take the vaccine. Right on the flyer, it says “sponsored by Pfizer”. How is this not considered a conflict of interest? How can this not leave a sour taste in our mouths, even of us who have taken it? I support everyone making their own choice… this feels disingenuous to me.

As well, I complained to a colleague that the government (literally) texting me to stay home because “IT IS THE LAW” made me feel like we were living in a dystopian 80’s movie. And he replied, “well some people need to hear that or they won’t comply”. Very pertinent to your opening as a school teacher… some really see their fellow man as nothing but children who need to be disciplined into seeing “the light” (their version of it). There is no value ascribed to diversity of opinion and lifestyle.

Hopefully this comment doesn’t spread negativity. Thanks for your work once again. 🙂

BTW, I did find a playlist of 200 videos that was kinda still up. Only 189 deleted videos out of 200.

But Century of Enslavement is still there under someone elses channel.

  23. minnie says:

I couldn’t find a link to the Scientific American article in the show notes, so I got one from archive.is, as James advised:

Couldn’t find any mention of the word “Sweden” in the article. The most basic comparison of Swedish corona death stats (just under 0.13% of the population) with UK ones (0.18% of the population) shows that lockdowns, masks and other restrictions did not save lives. Conveniently ignored in this ridiculous polemic.

I had to stop watching the video at 29 mins in. The evil is too abhorrent to listen to. I’ve had enough of it. I might brace myself to go back and watch more another time. Simply, gangsters and those on their payroll have taken over almost all the democratic institutions of the “western world”.

James and others have been warning of the failure of democracy for years. I’ve been interested enough in what they had to say to go from being a fanatical left-winger, who passionately believed that if just the right calibre of left-wing leader was able to take power, paradise would ensue. I started to move away from politics around 2012, eventually voting “NONE” or only for independent candidates, and telling people that I was “almost an anarchist”. However I didn’t go the whole way, thinking that yes, massive change towards anarchism and agorism was needed, but it was important to preserve our democratic institutions for the time being.

I should have listened to James and co EVEN MORE. We are (almost) all to blame for this disgusting situation that is propelling us back to the Middle Ages, because we constantly call for more and “better” leaders, too lazy to basically take responsibility for ourselves. That is what has got us to this stage. Fauci even sounds like the Godfather! The corruption is there in plain sight (and sound).

The fact that GooTube has decided to suppress this sensible, rational and well-sourced anti-Stalinist opinion shows how fetid this corruption has become, infecting all of our mass institutions. Evil cannot bear scrutiny.

  24. Aamir says:

Congrats James. You are now officially in the cool kids club.

  25. candlelight says:

Terrorism and nuclear proliferation made me laugh. Astute observations as usual, James.

Well, much to my chagrin, I am being coerced by family members into getting PEGed later this month. If any one doesn’t know what PEG I’m referring to, it’s PolyEthylene Glycol, the protective coating for the mRNA to be delivered into your muscle cells via the Pfizer/Moderna shot, which PEG may account for severe adverse reactions, among other known or unknown short and long lived consequences….

But, you know, screw it. I’m not afraid of the problem(Covid), nor am I afraid of the solution(vaccine). I am afraid and leary of being berated, ad infinitum, by those around me who drink way too much “kool-aid”.

    Oh, well.

I’ll let y’all know how things turn out.

    • candlelight says:

Btw, what’s all this about James being banned from youtube? Just typed in Corbett Report in their search bar and a few things popped up:

Oh shit! Just noticed that one was a spoof! Check it out:

Hate to say it, but to listen to James get over dubbed in a ridiculous spoof is kinda funny. Even though it isn’t. To scrub Corbett’s body of work, and to leave this bullshit is beyond Orwellian.

But, there is this recent episode of The Filter, with Mattasher, which is serious:

Last, but not least, the third and last Corbett entrée to pop up is Corbett’s spoof on the Donald – No. 45:

Mark Carney already Trudeau’s advisor, probably won’t run for PM because his true ambition is to be king of the world. There’s a lovely video at WEF of him and Bill Gates together saying the usual same ole same ole.

I know it is a common sentiment in this community, time and time again, but this video has filled me with the most overwhelming sense of doom that I have felt throughout all of this. I have never before felt SO outcasted from my friends and family. Everyone knows I am “into conspiracy theories” yet I have been shown repeatedly that not a single person can even entertain the idea that I would have some hesitancy to get vaccinated. It has put me in a position where I do not announce my beliefs unless I am asked about them.
While watching this video, I thought about my feelings of isolation, the shame that comes with going against everyone, and how I will suffer socially from this. As a single man, I know I can’t even bring up my beliefs on the subject without blowing my chances with a prospective partner. Still, I know that I could never be with someone who was incapable of seeing what I see, but this leaves me with very few options at this point.
I digress… as I was watching and thinking about this, I thought about how I am being split off from society. The narrative of this virus, the vaccine, and all the surrounding bullshit are splitting me off and I wonder how it will end. What is it going to take for me to surrender? A vaccine passport, so I can travel? It once seemed extreme, but now it is becoming more and more part of the discussion. Still, we hear from Doctor Whateverhernameis in the video, that there is still a large amount of hesitancy and it is going to prevent herd immunity.
So here is what I see that is unfolding..
We are not going to “reach herd immunity”. There will be another wave. More people will die and we “anti-vaxxers” and “anti-sciencers” will be the ones who are blamed. I have shared so many important videos and articles and memes and had heart discussions with loved ones and I have not FULLY red-pilled a single one. There is nothing we can say to change their minds. People will be BEGGING for the government to step in and those who stand in the way of herd immunity will be made the enemy.
If technocracy is the goal then this is the way they do it. There is nothing stopping that from happening. They have so much momentum already.
I’m sorry for the rant as my first post, much less, an incredibly pessimistic one.

…you would be amazed at the number of women who are attracted to someone that does not go for the “Normie think”. When I was born, my parents remarked that it looked like I got beat with an “ugly stick”, but despite that ugly handicap I have met some wonderful and beautiful (inside & out) women during my life. In fact, an incredible girl who I had dated during the later 1970’s visits the Corbett Report, as I found out not too long ago kind of by accident.

It’s weird when I have gone to a doctors appointment, I’m asked if I got it and I say no. I tell them it’s still under emergency use and the clinical trials aren’t done yet.

I’m pretty calm and able to express my ideas without excess emotion and am very matter of fact. If you have the actual data and science, not “science says” but real data, people won’t question you. In fact, one of my coworkers said that she probably should have waited to get the “vaccine”.

It’s hard to not care what others think, but I think it’s important to try because this drug might turn out to be dangerous in the long term. At least we don’t have the data yet to know for sure. I’m certainly not comfortable with it and I’m relatively neutral with regards to western medicine drugs.

    New York Times – April 1, 2021 – Updated April 5
Biden Administration Announces Ad Campaign to Combat Vaccine Hesitancy

The public awareness push includes 275 participating organizations that will speak to communities where skepticism of the coronavirus vaccine remains high.
“The Biden administration announced it was allocating nearly $10 billion to increase vaccine access and confidence…”

WASHINGTON — The Biden administration on Thursday morning announced an ambitious advertising campaign intended to encourage as many Americans as possible to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The campaign, with ads in English and Spanish that will air throughout April on network TV and cable channels nationwide, as well as online, comes as the administration is rapidly expanding access to coronavirus vaccines but skepticism about the vaccines also remains high…

…Two hundred and seventy-five organizations will participate in the administration’s new public awareness push — including NASCAR, the Catholic Health Association of the United States and the North American Meat Institute — that is aimed at communities where vaccine hesitancy remains high. Among the organizations are many Catholic and evangelical groups that are expected to help address religious concerns about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which uses abortion-derived fetal cell lines.

The group is collectively called the Covid-19 Community Corps, administration officials said, and participating organizations are able to reach millions of Americans who trust those individual groups…

…To press that point even more, the Department of Health and Human Services has separately bought a multimillion-dollar ad in Black and Spanish-language media, as well as in outlets that reach Asian-Americans and tribal communities, reinforcing the message about the safety and efficacy of coronavirus vaccines…

…The administration announced last week that it was allocating close to $10 billion to increase vaccine access and confidence in minority communities that have been hardest hit by the pandemic….

    • Ethan Hunter says:

I hope the big push to address “vaccine hesitancy” will raise the suspicions of people with some level of perceptiveness.

It’s like the last ditch stand they did with Great Thunberg on climate crisis before the narrative switched to pandemics and the attempts to marry the two in unholy matrimony.

        this is from february 2021:

TORONTO — The federal government is investing $64 million in COVID-19 vaccine education campaigns to help combat vaccine hesitancy and misinformation in Canada, while also encouraging Canadians to get the shot.

Minister of Health Patty Hajdu said in a press release on Tuesday that the investment, through the Immunization Partnership Fund (IPF), will increase public access to “reliable, accurate and timely information about vaccines.” She says this will help ensure Canadians “make informed and confident vaccine choices for themselves and their families.”

        “About the Immunization Partnership Fund

The Immunization Partnership Fund (IPF) initially received approximately $3 million a year for five years (2016-2021) through Budget 2016. In 2020, $30.25 million in additional funding for 2.5 years will allow the Public Health Agency of Canada to continue building on early momentum, while identifying new initiatives to support vaccine confidence, uptake, and access to COVID-19 vaccines. This funding will help Canadians to make healthy and informed COVID-19 vaccination decisions, as well as help them to catch up on routine vaccines that may have been missed during the pandemic.”

Phlogiston and Luminiferous Aether may be long gone, but we now have Kennedy ballistics, pancaking skyscrapers and PCR amplifications.

Apart from scientists’ need to keep a job and access to the lobster sandwiches at industry conventions, there may be another problem with “trusting the science”. That problem is context. Many people who are gifted in the “stem” areas of knowledge seem to be more deficient than the average with regard to seeing context.

An example of the above: in 2009 there was a large scale experiment in seeding of the oceans by dumping iron from boats. By chance, little El Nino did its own experiment right at that time, scooping masses of iron rich dust from recent siltation in Australia’s interior and sending it into the Pacific Ocean on the wings of our parching spring westerlies. Did it even occur to the experimenters that a natural process was dwarfing their efforts? And that melting glaciers, another supposed “climate disaster”, are another natural way of sending minerals into the oceans on a huge scale? Did they even lift their heads from their computer models?

Based on the experiments of Tyndall and Arrhenius I have decided to avoid living in closed glass receptacles with high levels of CO2. However this should not and does not stop me from knowing that the present slight uptick in sea levels and temps is very minor compared to the Holocene Incursion just a few thousand years back. Nor should I forget that this interglacial has not reached the heights of the previous one (the Eemian) some 120 thousand years ago.

The trick with climate “science” has been to allow comparatives but with few points of comparison or none. Things can be “hotter” or “more frequent”…but there’s no “than”. Sadly, it is those with a gift for calculation and analysis who are most likely to engage in this sort of one-out mechanistic thinking, ignoring all context, even when the context is part of their field. Not all of them, but too many of them. (What I mean by context: try cramping a Persian army at Thermopylae now or try paddling a canoe at Ephesus where the Romans parked fleets.)

This is why we need all types in life and should not glorify scientists beyond their real capacities and skills. We need those capacities and skills. But we need all the rest, and they haven’t got all the rest.

These people are basically low order priests in the dogma of scientism and they don’t even know it. They do not know about the scientific method, they do not have a fervor for finding the truth and they will, most probably, never be able to considering a thought without accepting or rejecting it immediately.

Whatever their excuse may be (financial considerations, social pressure, they “didn’t know”) they are basically cowards.

I’m not taken aback by your outrage, JC. It’s what any individual who asks questions should feel – it’s an appropriate response although sadly, the people who really need to hear it will not, as most really do have their heads buried in the sand.

I feel like I’ve been a Cassandra my entire adult life (thankfully, Robinson Jeffers is there for me). From worrying incessantly about doing what I can to preserve a viable planet for those who follow in my earlier years and now to this Covid bullshit, and everything else… I mean, who decided that Elon Musk could shove all of his satellites up into the night sky to pollute it just so that 5G can additionally F all of us up?

And, yes, JC, you continue to equate those who believe that climate change is upon us to the ‘useful idiots’ who buy into the Covid BS, but I take umbrage to such a comparison. I’m a lot older than you, and I’ve moved about the U.S. way too much throughout my life and have experienced first hand F’ing climate change having destroyed the viability of areas of the planet.

One thing I noticed in your Homesteading piece was that you asked your guest where he recommended that people move and purchase land, and it ended up minimized, unanswered… because, there really aren’t all that many good places left. I really do wonder about the disconnect between understanding that sociopaths run Big Pharma but not corporations… Do you really think that the effluents belching out of smokestacks or into rivers/oceans are benign? And, it’s also the hidden pollutants which degrade the viability of an area, like 3M, polluting the well water from the Twin Cities, MN, potentially all the way to the St. Croix (https://www.startribune.com/minnesota-settlement-with-3m-may-fix-drinking-water-but-not-the-environment/475741593/?refresh=true, https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2018-3M-groundwater-pollution-problem/.) Can you imagine how you would feel if you’d purchased land in that area 20 years ago for a homestead?

Even if you have the perfect land, it’s not easy, by any means. Our grandparents had very hard lives trying to eke their living from the land. And, let’s face it, if things really go south someone will just shoot you and take over your perfect, beautiful property.

Some will think I’ve gone off tangent, but I don’t agree. The mindset of those individuals who inspired books such as the Gulag Archipelago will always be with us, and I can’t help but feel that this Covid conspiracy will be a turning point for society, one way or another. I’ve never seen such insanity…

The climate change being discussed is not the same as pollution. In fact the goal of it is to divert from the current harm of pollution. It is the war on carbon. It is the belief that the biggest threat is huge amounts of carbon being released into the air changing the climate into one full of many destructive weather events. In every climate change talk I hear nothing about toxic chemicals or waste being dumped right now but reducing carbon and preventing a future event.

      • DogStar says:

Flammable – thank you for your thoughtful and diplomatic reply.

For my part, I’m going to try to set this issue aside when visiting this site… Even if an individual doesn’t believe that big industry’s carbon emissions play a role in creating a less-viable planet (from more turbulent weather to droughts in some areas, flooding in others), I’m sure that most will agree with the validity of proposed solutions by authentic environmentalists (e.g., Organic Consumers Assoc – https://www.organicconsumers.org , Rocky Mountain Institute – https://rmi.org/).

Just take one solution – regenerative agriculture ( https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/new-documentary-vandana-shiva/ ) which works toward environmental restoration, self-reliance for farmers, and improved public health, goals which are a win for future generations.

      • cu.h.j says:

Excellent points, yes I think this is accurate, they only mention carbon and that is directed at the population rather than industry and the military industrial complex. These wars cause a lot of pollution as well.

They want to bend the science to fit the narrative so they can control all the resources.

Climate science is also very complex and poorly understood as far as I understand and there are other factors involved besides carbon dioxide.

Having said that pollution and not giving a crap about the environment is a bad thing, but I don’t think JC’s material suggested that pollution was okay.

I woke up and knew I learned something. That something is this: purely information is not anything great but merely a tool, or weapon. Anyone can deceive using “facts”.

The reality is when the general public repeats “it’s science” it’s not truly science to the masses. It’s not science but an issue of trust. Trust because few people are scientists themselves. Even real scientists may not agree on the simplest things. Chicken or the egg… anyone?

It was already apparent before the coronavirus crisis that society was trending toward fascism, but to see this type of talk being widely accepted in society is sign of very bad things to come for any free thinkers. When the conversation is narrowed down to a simplistic view of science versus anti-science, or essentially, good versus evil, the bonfires are already being lit in preparation to burn those free thinking heretics at the stake.

Also, treating anyone who promotes “anti-science” ideas as a terrorist, ties into what Glen Greenwald and others have documented about the coming Domestic War on Terror aimed at U.S. citizens (article below). The mask mandate is lifted in Texas and the Governor vowed that “vaccines will not be mandated” for the government sector, but the private sector can still mandate vaccines or masks.

Saturday April 10th, 2021 – Nice, pleasant Spring weather in North Texas.
For a Saturday, traffic on the roads and at businesses was unusually high, almost like “Christmas shopping season”. Places were bustling.

Around 6:30 pm, I figure the Lowes hardware store/garden center will be less crowded, so I decide to head that way. As I go to the car, I stop to talk to my neighbor lady who is in her front yard sitting at the table deliberately getting soused on wine 15 meters away. Family members had come over to visit. I never see them wear a mask.

Earlier in the day, when we were both out front, she said, “I hope that we don’t ever bother you when we sit out here and talk and eat.” I emphatically said “No! Not at all! This is what neighborhoods are all about!” She responds, “Yea! Being NEIGHBORLY!”

I get to Lowes. The parking lot was packed. Maybe 400 people there. However, as I walked through the store and outside, there was a mix of folks. About 20% did not have masks on, while the rest did. Activity was much like activity had always been. Couples chatting about what plants to get or color of paint or appliance, just like they normally do. The visual contrast of Masked against UnMasked was bizarre like a dream…so surreal.
I thought of ManBearPig’s comment. It was so spot on.

Earlier in the day, I had driven 15 minutes away to pick up a used dryer for $70 via Craigslist, because my dryer burned out. It was from a family with a large house on an acre. The couple, in their early 40’s were in the front yard with a child and mother-in-law. No masks.
As I shook hands and we introduced ourselves, I smiled and said “I’m so glad ya’ll aren’t wearing masks.” There was an uncomfortable pause as the couple gave each other “a funny look”.
The wife proudly said, I’m not worried. I’ve been vaccinated!”
I wasn’t even going to touch the topic…just loaded up and went back home.

I think Thomas Kuhn needed to be brought into the conversation carefully. I’m not sure that that was done. (I’m not sure that I’d get a lot from his book.) Are not germ theory and terrain theory, already, at this moment, two competing paradigms? There are an awful lot more motivations at work than just an inability of those adhering to the old paradigm to rationalize and evade further. (People can choose to self-modify, after which they acquire twisted desires and values. The self-modified get a thrill from playing God for example. They get a thrill from taking the means of survival from others.) We live in a (unnatural) money system. Money means life. Are Hotez, Fauci, Gates et al going to ditch their Rockefeller / germ theory paradigm for Claude Bernard’s and Antoine Bechamp’s terrain theory (and cheap, natural medicines) if they are having a hard time keeping up with patching the holes in their narrative dike? The hoaxsters’ paradigm was largely made-up to begin with. The dike is ‘mostly’ holes…

  51. Paul says:

I agree that the lessons discussed from Kuhn are important as they seem to describe how scientists actually behave.

However, can’t we still aspire to achieve science being as described by Popper?

Seems this one struck a nerve and did too good a job at pointing out just how corrupt and rife with conflict of interest the scientific community has become. We can trust what “science” says about as much as we can trust what the corrupt media says. Everyone has been bought and paid for. This is outrageous. I don’t understand how people don’t see what’s going on and why more aren’t demanding truth over propaganda.

YouTube REMOVES video featuring Florida Gov. DeSantis & anti-lockdown health experts, saying it ‘contradicts consensus’ on masks
    (LINKS in article(

YouTube has taken down a video of a public health roundtable hosted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and several medical experts voicing skepticism about lockdowns, saying that it ran afoul of “global” health consensus on masks.

The nearly two-hour video was first streamed on the channel of a Florida CBS affiliate in mid-March, in which the governor spoke at length at the Florida state capitol with four public health experts hailing from Stanford University, the University of Oxford and Harvard Medical School.

The video was removed over “content that contradicts the consensus of local and global health authorities regarding the efficacy of masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19,” YouTube spokesperson Elena Hernandez told RT.

The platform cited a number of examples from the video, each of them revolving around the use of face coverings, including a suggestion from DeSantis that “putting masks on kids” is “not effective,” with which the experts agreed.

YouTube said it allows exceptions for certain prohibited content when it appears with additional context making clear the information is for educational, documentary, scientific or artistic purposes, but noted the roundtable video did not meet that standard.

While the roundtable remains accessible through an archived link, YouTube sent the video down the memory hole sometime this week, as was first noted by Jeffrey Tucker of the American Institute for Economic Research on Wednesday. The page previously hosting the video now gives a brief notice: “This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.”

The website has stepped up its efforts against what it deems “misinformation” in recent months, particularly as it relates to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and vaccines developed to combat it. During a panel hosted by the World Economic Forum earlier this week, CEO Susan Wojcicki boasted of the platform’s “very high ability” to hunt down false information and other rule-breaking content and “reduce it significantly over time.”

“So if you look at where we were in 2017… we’ve reduced this by more than 70%. And that is due to an incredible amount of hard work with machines and also improving our policies,” she said. “Not only did we remove content that violates our policies at that significant rate, but we also created more policies.”….

Great Barrington Declaration Scientists with Gov. DeSantis in Florida

      Gov. DeSantis:

Jay Bhattacharya is Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and research associate at the National Bureau Of Economic Research.
And then we have Dr. Martin Kulldorff, a biostatistician, epidemiologist and professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
We had both Martin and Jay over the summer, at the end of the summer, talking about kind of the state of play with the COVID-19 pandemic, evaluating some of the policy choices that had been made in different parts of the United States, as well as around the world, and covered a lot of good ground.
Now we’re six, seven, eight months down the road from that and I thought it would make sense to bring them back as well as to bring Professor Gupta and Scott Atlas.

      • Arby says:

As for GooTube, Let’s remember that Google is, among other things, a vaccine company, as RFK explains in an article on Children’s Health Defense titled “Censorship Claims Another Victim: Honest-Journalism Giant, Del Bigtree’s “The Highwire””(https://childrenshealthdefense.org/news/censorship-claims-another-victim-honest-journalism-giant-del-bigtrees-the-highwire/)

an excerpt from the above linked-to article:

YouTube’s owner, Google, is effectively a vaccine company. Two subsidiaries of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, market and manufacture vaccines: Calico and Verily. Arthur Levinson, Genentech’s former CEO, runs Calico, an anti-aging drug company while Verily teams with Pharma to conduct drug and vaccine clinical trials.

In 2016, Alphabet inked a $715 million deal with GlaxoSmithKline to create Galvani, another venture to develop bioelectronic medicines and vaccines and to mine medical information from Google customers. Google’s Customer Services President, Mary Ellen Coe, sits on Merck’s board.

In 2016, Google partnered with Sanofi launching Onduo, a virtual diabetes clinic and in 2018 in another business that uses analytics to develop new drugs and vaccines.

In 2018, Google invested $27,000,000 in Vaccitech to make vaccines for flu, MERS, and prostate cancer. Vaccitech calls itself “the future of mass vaccine production.” In 2020, Vaccitech started work on a COVID vaccine. Google claims to provide politically and commercially neutral searches, but it systemically manipulates search results to suppress accurate vaccine safety and efficacy information and steers users toward deceptive and fraudulent Pharma propaganda.

This is what the author of the book (Gerald Pollack) has to say about modern “science”:

“The pursuit of simplicity seems to have largely evaporated from the scientific scene. In four decades of doing science, I have seen this noble culture yield to one less audacious and more pragmatic.”

    And also:

  61. CJ says:

Well, hello at last James and sorry it took so long for me to finally sub. I’ve followed your work for a long time and why I hadn’t done this earlier is…a total mystery, in fact.

Maybe it was watching the brilliant “science says” yesterday as it was literally shredded before my eyes along with your excellent channel on the platform that has become the bastion of censorship that finally pushed me to do it? I know you’ve been saying for a long time that it was bound to happen, and I have been distancing myself from there of late, but I have to confess I was watching on there at the time, so apologies for that. Having seen many channels get whacked over the years on there too, it came as a surprise to absolutely nobody when it finally happened yesterday. Oh well, I’m here now, so every cloud, I guess.

Anyway, this is getting long, so why I’m here: I have very serious concerns for the youngsters and future generations of this world who are seemingly at the mercy of the greedy and corrupt, but as I write this, I have a sense of hope that we can stand our ground and overcome the creeping tyranny that surrounds us and endlessly comes up with novel ways to try to stifle us. I’ve always found Corbett report to be absolutely on the money and I just wanna say:

James, keep up the outstanding work my friend. I’m blown away by your diligence, work ethic and attitude and want to thank you sincerely for all the hard work you put in. You are an absolute inspiration and a guiding light to me and many others like me, and hopefully our growing numbers will overcome the bloodsucking evil vampires in our midst by always doing the right thing, standing up for what’s right and never backing down. In terms of numbers of personnel, it should be an absolute cake walk for us, but processing where we are and knowing what to do about any of it is a dizzying prospect, and time is running out rapidly. This whole freedom pass/ covid certificate thing is truly sinister and completely unnecessary. Why so many wod gleefully go along with it is beyond me, and I fear there will be no going back once that’s implemented.

    Worrying times indeed.

I look forward to whatever comes next here and a quick “Hi” to everyone else. I look forward to seeing you all in the chats for any helpful solutions / ideas.

Stay awesome and don’t ever give up.

Since i read the following articles i can imagine that Dr. Hotez warning of the occurence of ADE after vaccination against SARS-Cov 2 could be misleading or in this case entirely wrong.

    Science says:

Both articles point out, that ADE is at least unlikely even as a reaction of Dr. Hotez old school vaccine.
That could mean Dr. Hotez wanted to sell his product while others could be blackmailed by a false argument.

But there could be another potentially dangerouse enhencement effect that is pointed out by both articles and could be the main/real cause of the mentioned death of two toddlers during the 1960s trails.

The cell-based enhencement or Th2-(eosino- and neutrophil)-immunopathology which could lead to vaccine-associated enhanced respiratory disease (ERD) which needs no second contact with an unisolated imaginary livingdead genetic code.

A short explaination which mainly provides a taste of the scientific publics lack of knowledge:
The vaccine triggers the responding Th2 cells to then attract massive amounts of eosinophils (and sometimes also neutrophils) to somehow induce an allergic reaction especially in the respiratory system.

Whatever that means, additionaly to ADE we should keep this more commonly known vaccine-enhencement (ERD) in mind.

The tasing for non compliance with the “new normal “ is just the beginning. I think it’s up to citizens in the US to stand up to this though because we do have more capacity for resistance since we are armed and some of us heavily armed.

People have natural rights (to breath fresh air) and unarmed populations like in China for example can do little about being welded in their homes and forced vaxxed or subjecting themselves to anal swabs.

I wouldn’t characterize all “American culture” as rabid and violent. We have a very diverse group of people living here. The riots by BLM and Antifa have certainly met this definition and they seem to be all about collectivism. Sometimes an individual has a right to set boundaries based on natural law, like not being tased for not wearing a mask.

Violence is not unnatural, but should be used in the right circumstances, IMHO. I have no plan on being taken to a detention camp or forced vaxxed without a fight. If I was unarmed, I would have little choice in the matter.

      • flammable says:

According to WHO, CDC, and HHS, Covid-19 is not a disease but a set of symptoms. Because it is new and they claim to not have enough data, Covid-19 is not offically a disease. If Covid-19 is offically designated as a disease then the RT-PCR test would not be allowed as it clearly states it is not to be used in diagnosis of disease. All diseases must have proof of clinical presentation or the diagnosis can be challenged in court. As a list of symptoms is not bound by law, RT-PCR can be used to claim you have Covid-19 with no liability.

This also ties in with the ‘vaccine’. Since Covid-19 is merely symptoms, the manufacturers can use gene therapy technology to only reduce symptoms. Doing this increases speed and profits as the shots are not bound by vaccines laws that must meet the endpoint of providing immunity, stopping transmission, or using viral material. However to get full liability exclusion these injections must be presented as vaccines. The whole operation violates 15 US Code Federal Trade Commission Act and they have no protection from it under any emergency.

I’m sure that you’re on the right track there, but if they can obfuscate and outright lie, then I’m sure that we can be forgiven for using a bit of shorthand in order to communicate. I recall David Martin explaining that covid 19 is a (broad, of course) set of symptoms, but I wasn’t sure, since everyone else referred to the disease. In any case, I have no problem with calling covid 19 a disease in order to discuss the subject but I also have no problem with explaining that when those who I talk to are interested in hearing it.

So far, I have gone about 40 minutes deep into that interview.

A big point at the beginning of the conversation was about kids.
How is this Ooga Booga Witch Doctor culture going to affect the kids?
      It’s insidious.
      I’m concerned.

I remember in the 1950’s at about 4 or 5 years old having a reoccurring nightmare. My head was on the pillow and some men were about to have the lazer beam go through the pillow into the back of my head.
I’d wake up screaming and sweating.
My Mom was concerned and asked me if I wanted to talk to a Doctor about the dream. I said “No. uh uh.” and the subject was dropped.
What is interesting…in those days I did not have a clue what a lazer beam was, only a concept of a beam burrowing through my pillow. I don’t think there was any kind of TV show which I saw that gave me the concept.

Funny how kids react to things and imagine things…
A clown picture book at that age gave me nightmares of a fat clown and thin clown.
My younger brother saw a book with pictures of prehistoric fish. It gave him nightmares.
We shared a room with separate beds parallel to each other. At night, if one of us got scared, we would jump the gap being careful to not touch the floor, and sleep with the other brother. The reason we jumped… My brother was sure that a whale was under his bed there in the dark. My bed had an alligator under it, because I knew that whales couldn’t live on land.

I rang the neighbor’s doorbell one day. He opened the door, kind of puzzled. I asked him if he could roll his eyes around his head. When he made the eye motion of “rolling his eyes – up, to the side, down, and around”, I said “No. Can you roll your eyes around your head and see behind you?.” I made the hand motion as if the eyes would move past the ears and behind the head and back past the other ear to the front.
The logic of its impossibility was beyond me. Maybe too many old cartoons.

Anyway, I’m concerned about the impressions kids will get, especially with so much insanity and fear.

I was also skeptical about the Big Bang, and wanted to learn
more about what was really going on.
And time after time they bored us with stories about fantasy
things that could not even exist hypothetically.
It made me realize that fantasy sells better than basic
solid science, and that these high ranked scientists actually
have no clue what is going on.

I noticed that Nature and such published nonsense stories that later
became political issues. First they warn about asteroids falling on earth.
And some months later they promote a military program for big lasers or
something. As if those 2 were not connected.

Something similar happened with Arstechnica who became a mouth-piece
for anti-wikileaks propaganda about russian hackers.
And this sadly was copied by some writers on Techdirt.
But it was clearly a CIA/NSA planted story.

I never liked CNN and such, as they promoted too much the bombing of
bunkers in foreign countries. As if it did not matter that there
were people in those bunkers that did not want a war.

Thank you for this and your other videos on how the process of science is being perverted. I was a science teacher for 30 years. I told my students that if you ask a question about the natural world you are at the beginning of the scientific process. Science is a process, not a thing. Anyone who forbids questions is anti-science.

Having said that, I have a question.
Do COVID vaccines cause COVID variants?

Notice this is an interrogatory sentence, not a declarative sentence.
How did I come up with this question?

People who were pro-vax kept saying that the COVID vax was just as normal and necessary as the polio vax and if I approved of polio vax I should also approve of and take the COVID vax. I realized that I knew very little about the polio vax and had just automatically accepted it as necessary so I started researching it.

So I had a question: What is the history of the polio vaccine? I moved to the next step in the scientfic process — a review of the literature.

One of the sources I found (or AI found for me) was this video on DireYoutube: Good, Bad and Ugly: The History of Polio Vaccines – Professor Gareth Williams https://www.gresham.ac.uk/professors-and-speakers/professor-gareth-williams/
I think that the whole lecture is very interesting, but if you want to save time, skip to minute 22:33 on the timeline where he talks about Hilary Koprowski (1916-2013) and the polio trials that took place at Queens University Belfast in 1956. It would seem that children who were volunteered by their parents to be guinea pigs in the trials were given the living vaccine orally and then blood samples and stool samples were taken and injected into the brains of monkeys. A couple of monkeys got polio. It would seem that the weakened polio virus somehow mutated while in the digestive tract of some of the children and became even more lethal (aka VARIANT). By the way, the children didn’t get polio.
to be continued (not sure of how many characters I have typed)

    • Fact Checker says:

All the “variant” business is pure poppycock. No empirical basis whatsoever. A dream within a dream. Frightening tales told by mystic medicine men to keep the quaking Herd of serfs in thrall. Nothing more.

    • zyxzevn says:

Polio might have disappeared due to cleaner water and such.
It would be great to research that better.
But no company would finance that.

The live-polio vaccines were promoted as more successful against the
variants. Even against some other diseases. (from TEDx-talk)
This is the reason why most people do not have anything to fear with covid,
as their body is already trained to fight it. (T-cell immunity)

The same live-polio vaccines also brought back the disease in
places where it had disappeared. (polio returns in Africa after vaccinations)
And in India they caused children to get polio symptoms. (Gates work)

Anti-bodies do not work that well against the variants.
And the vaccine makers use that to sell us a new
      flu-vaccine every year.
The effectiveness of the flu-vaccine is practically zero,
because the viruses vary so quickly (from The Hihgwire)

  74. Control Savvy says:

Do COVID vaccines cause COVID variants (continued)

The Gareth Williams video sparked a memory I had of the Chinese insisting on taking stool samples from travelers into China–which had nothing to do with the original question, but it’s how the mind works. One idea sparks a connection to another. Question: Where did I see that report? Another search on DireGoogle revealed several links. Here’s one: Factbox: China’s anal tests for coronavirus upset visitors

Question: Are the Chinese taking stool samples because they suspect that the vaccines might be producing variants inside the bodies of people who have received the vaccines?

Unfortunately there was no scientific way to answer this question. So I asked another one.

When did the variants appear and were they linked in time and place with vaccine trials? Review of the literature (aka DireGoogle)produced these results:
    VARIANT discovered in December 2020
“one mutated version of the coronavirus was detected in southeastern England in September 2020. That variant, now known as B.1.1.7, quickly became the most common version of the coronavirus in the United Kingdom, accounting for about 60% of new COVID-19 cases in December (2020)”.

VACCINE TRIALS carried out in October 2020 in UK
Dozens to be deliberately infected with coronavirus in UK ‘human challenge’ trials

Ok Vaccine trials in October. Variant appears in December. As you pointed out, two events happening close together does not prove that one caused another. However, a perfectly scientific question to ask is, “Did the October vaccines produce a COVID variant inside the human hosts?” This question can be easily answered if the scientists involved in the trials took blood and stool samples of the humans in the vaccine trials and then made sure that those samples did not contain a new and more lethal vsriant (I have no idea how they would do that). Question: Did the scientists performing these trials take blood and stool samples and test them? If so could they please provide the data? I suspect that data would be denied on the grounds of proprietary and perhaps military secrecy. Sooo…you can’t have science without the right to ask questions and you can’t have science without access to data and the ability to replicate scientific experiments.

Jumping to conclusions and becoming emotionally attached to them is antiscience. Asking questions and insisting on reliable repeatable data is the heart of the scientific process. Without scientific answers, however, I am left with questions, suspicions, and doubts. Are vaccinated people serving as hosts to dangerous mutations that csn affect the unvaccinated? Not a theory. Just a question.

I completely understand why you were a little more ‘aggressive’ than usual James. I have been making the same point to friends about how the Downing Street press conferences are repeating the same unscientific information, and here from the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Scientific Adviser. When we have such supposed luminaries distorting the science to make a political point there can be no further proof required that this is a conspiracy managed from the very top. Furthermore, not once have the media who are there to ask difficult questions actually bothered to question this. I find myself shouting at the TV “Ask Whitty how many hospitalised patients are actually showing symptoms” or ask him “How many hospitalisations ‘with’ Covid are actually ‘because’ of Covid and not simply people who were in hospital and then tested positive (but showed no symptoms)”. But they never do. The whole thing is a pile of sh*te. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Not only does Mr. Hotez actually believe that HIS audience is stupid enough to believe him, he is right, they do believe him. I have met these people. Technically, they are more brainwashed than “stupid”. Either way, they are scary.

  78. Chilling stuff indeed James.

A local hero among the ‘awake’ here in Canada is
Chris ‘Sky’ who champions the truth about the plandemic.
He has been invited to speak to thousands at rallies around the world.

Very recently he was invited to speak at several rallies in your home province
    of Alberta.

He showed up at Toronto’s Pearson Airport to board his flight and was informed that he was now on Canada’s ‘No Fly List’!

Yes he is now being treated the exact same way Canada treats terrorists,
just as you predicted would happen in your piece, simply by espousing “anti-science” viewpoints.

  79. Manasarovar says:

The words used by Dr.Hotez made me think about the words recently used by Dr. Matteo Bassetti, the italian frontman for mandatory vaccination.
In a recent post on social media he started condemning those people who recently gave fire to a vaccination center and to the door of the National Health Institute, just as an excuse to label anyone who dares having a different opinion about vaccines as a terrorist.

Here is the last part of his post : “We need a law that punishes anyone who takes a stand against vaccines. These people must be treated in the same way terrorists were treated in the Seventies. There is no way that the web is ruled by anti-vaxxers, they are anti-scientific movements.
They must be stopped now, for the sake of our Country and our health system”.

    Same words, same concept.
Seems like there is a precise international script behind this to make it very clear that , like James accurately stated, anyone who is promoting anything “antiscientific” needs to be dealt with as a national security threat.

Cannot find any link in english for the post of the brilliant Dr.Bassetti. Here is a MSM link in italian:

This plandemic is a global scam written with the same script. Also here in Germany, our ‘most trusted’ quack epidemiologist and “inventor” of the COVID-19 PCR Tests, “Dr.” Christian Drosten, proclaimed still in 2020 that masks do not help in preventing infections. A few weeks later he did a 180.

Eisenhower’s farewell address/warning: Akin to, and largely responsible for the sweeping changes in our industrial-military posture, has been the technological revolution during recent decades.

In this revolution, research has become central; it also becomes more formalized, complex, and costly. A steadily increasing share is conducted for, by, or at the direction of, the Federal government.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present

and is gravely to be regarded. Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientifictechnological elite.

It is the task of statesmanship to mold, to balance, and to integrate these and other forces, new and old, within the principles of our democratic system — ever aiming toward the supreme goals of our free society.

There may be a correlation between brainpower and love of knowledge for its own sake, as opposed to posturing as an authority for the status. There’s no need for false modesty when you just pursue science or art for its inherent rewards: http://milesmathis.com/nescience.pdf

Miles Mathis is mainly an artist.
He claimed PI=4 and such, and has similar weird ideas.
He simply states all kinds of things as true.
He uses logical fallacies like: This idea is wrong, so I am right.

      • elise says:

zyxzevn, agreed that MM has weird theories. In this essay, he proposed that interaction with the physical world is key to innovation and creativity. I found that relevant to both the discussion of Science Says and to the episode titled Stand in the Park.

        • zyxzevn says:

I think that his work could be a llot better if he
          just would state:
“I have this weird idea and I want to test it out”

It is interesting how he connects things that he
imagined himself, to create a new theory that
must be true, because of the thing that he imagined.

This logical process is actually very similar to
how a lot of astronomy works.
They base a lot of theories on imaginary things
that have never really been verified, and add more
imaginary things to come to certain “scientific” conclusions.

          For example:
They imagined that the sun was surrounded by a vacuum,
and the bending of starlight near the sun was caused by gravity,
and this gravity has a certain mathematical equation.
This mathematical equation can be extended with a parameter
that makes objects go away from each other (in maths).
They see redshift of far away stars, and conclude that
          this is the parameter.
They think that this has a direct link with the age of the universe.
They find structures that are far too old, so they invent
dark matter to make the mathematical model fit to the small
time-frame. And still we find structures that are far too old.
Later they find out that the stars move away at different
speeds. So they add “dark energy” to account for it.

Now we find out that the plasma around the sun is much
more concentrated and can account for the bending of the light.
We also see that plasma can cause some kind of redshift.
This makes it all a lot simpler and clearer.

Which theory do you think is supported by most astronomers?

i was a bit surprised to find out that peer review journals are a post-ww2 phenomenon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scholarly_peer_review#History

the crisis in science https://journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/article?id=10.1371/journal.pmed.0020124 has come about because peer review (anonymous) has replaced the reproducibility test, which has been the “gold” standard of the scientific method since francis bacon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_method

peer review has been co-opted by money. things like researchgate are setting science free from the coopted peer review, altho there is a backlash.

i searched various editions of thomas kuhn, but i could find no reference to peer review, and the potential it has for wrapping scientific investigation in chains.
