Over 50 people are dead after a shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on Sunday night.
The shooter has been identified as Omar Mateen, a 29 year old resident of Fort Pierce, Florida. Mateen was a Muslim, a registered Democrat, and a legal gun owner.
In the bingo card of suspicious events, we can check off:
-Mateen allegedly took time out of the carnage to phone 911 and declare his allegiance to I-CIA-SIS.
-He was previously known to the FBI who was “on the radar before”
-Mateen’s father hosts a show broadcast from California in which he praises the Taliban and recently posted a YouTube video announcing his candidacy for Afghan president…a year after the last election took place.
But as information continues to pour in it’s up to all of us to help collect the data. If you have any relevant news or information about the shooting and the way the investigation is proceeding, please share them in the comments below.

It shows ABC News coverage of the event with an interview of someone I presume is being presented as a survivor/witness. He starts to talk about how someone was holding the door closed preventing people from escaping and then is suddenly “cut off.”
Does anyone have any more info on this clip, i.e. who is the man being interviewed, was he suggesting an accomplice, etc.? It would be nice to have full context as one person is claiming that they got the witness right back on the line and he continued his story:

He claims the shooter talked to someone he knew and said that he was the 4th shooter. The shooter believed there were 3 other shooters, snipers who were outside that would shoot at the police when they arrived.
If this is what he believed then he either has a good imagination or he was part of a much bigger plot but the snipers didn’t show up as he thought they would.

Thanks for your post. Since you are in the local area, I was wondering if it’s possible to get reports from the local hospitals to see if there was a big influx of wounded people from the attack. Some people say it’s all a hoax but actual records from hospitals would be proof to the contrary.
In the first day after the shooting the hospital was on lockdown because there were so many wounded they couldn’t take any more. I heard that on the radio, XL106.7 and that the hospital was using apartment space adjacent to the hospital as well because they needed the room.
One of the radio personalities is friends with some of the medical staff at the hospital and she made some comments that her medical friends told her how overwhelmed they were with the sheer number of victims.
I listen to the station daily for over a year now. They were also some of the first ones who would talk about the reports of someone helping the shooter. I believe the radio personalities are being honest especially the young lady who is friends with the medical staff.
The radio personalities were familiar with Pulse and some of the regulars there, some of whom did not survive. There are a number of people who were well known in their circles and people are stepping forward and talking about them the way one would talk about a lost friend. Disney and Universal employees, medical personnel, several individuals who really were standouts in their circles. These people were not made up, they really did get killed.
I believe the shootings were real but there are some parts that do not add up. See my posts lower on the page. Several witnesses talk about a helper to the shooter and corroborate the “snipers outside” comments by the shooter. These comments were made by the shooter speaking on the phone to someone he knew.
I am going out on a limb here and hypothesizing, perhaps there were supposed to be snipers to provide cover so he could escape and lo and behold they never arrived just like the help never arrived at the Bay of Pigs. Perhaps he was just drunk and completely deranged. He was known for showing up and getting extremely drunk and belligerent.

Add in the fact that this guy was 3 times under FBI surveillance, he was on their radar and so was the Boston Bombers and we know what happened to them. They got blamed for something they didn’t do. This guy might have been duped into an operation though

Dear N.Riva, Mostly good stuff. I enjoyed your informative exposition of the facts. One detail though was a bit off. You clumped the Sunnis into the radicals. All Sunnis are not radicals. The majority of soldiers in the Syrian army who are fighting ISIS are Sunnis. Yes most terrorists are Sunnis (backed by Saudi Arabia) but not all Sunnis are terrorists. I’m in Aus as well and the disarmament has done nothing to increase our safety IMO. There are still plenty of shootings here, not as much as in the U.S. of course but then I don’t think we ever had open slather access to weapons in the same way or of the same type. The crooks and government (same thing?)will always have access to weapons while the average citizen will not. Even with the current level of restrictions here there are still people calling for even tighter gun controls. People who live their lives in fear of everything and want the government to guarantee their safety instead of being ‘allowed’ to take responsibility for it themselves. We are the biggest police/nanny-state on the planet IMO. They even dictate what temperature out hot water can be (and I mean that literally, it’s 50c in case you were wondering. :)).

I love the open source investigations. Is there a way we can check on updates without having to search through every comment every time? The way it is set up now, I know there are more comments from the comments number on top, but don’t know where the comments are because they are not chronologically listed(except by date and time) and are often replies to former comments. So sometimes the most recent comments are hidden in the middle of the thread. Can this be adjusted? Thanks for all you do.
Thank you for the question, RobinHood77. I can either sort the comments as they are, chronologically ordered but with nested discussions, or I can sort them strictly chronologically. That would mean replies would not appear in a thread with the comment they are replying to, but down at the bottom of the page. This would make back-and-forth conversations virtually impossible to follow.
Unfortunately I can’t adjust this on a case-by-case basis, the only way to do this is by changing the configuration for the entire site. I do see your point, but I think nested conversations can be very useful, especially for people trying to follow a conversation through the comments. However, if three other commenters agree with you I’ll make the change.

I am a Marine and I can change magazines very quickly, less than one second. He was shooting fish in a barrel, not hard to imagine the high numbers.
I agree something sounds very fishy about this whole story but a highly trained individual could easily shoot a lot a people very quickly in close proximity.
I think there is more to this story than a lone gunman gone wacko. I believe this is about divide and conquer, gun control and be very afraid of Muslims. Well I used the word suspect. Of course, it’s a bit early. As I pointed out below, 300 people were supposedly trapped for 3 hours, during which no photos or videos were taken, or have been produced so far. Everyone seems to be accepting the narrative at face value, while it might be better to be sceptical when it comes to accepting the words of proven liars. Let’s follow the evidence, wherever it leads.
There has never been any convincing videos of the Brussels or Paris attacks, so – they’re likely to be hoaxes. In particular, having 2 suicide bombers in the same departure lounge seems to suggest a slight lack of planning, if you think about it.

People who were absolutely not crisis actors were in the club at the time of the shooting. The eye witness reports have been conflicted in terms of what happened from start to finish. As we might expect, the authorities have been extremely slow to release any information. I live in the area and will post when I have more information. At this time, it appears that this event is being managed to some extent, but I also would avoid the term hoax, because I know people in this community (at least 2) who are confirmed dead. It is impossible to make any more determinations at this time without autopsy reports and other vital facts.

Also, the absence of evidence is not the same as evidence of absence.

The reason people are (or were) looking at a hoax is because Paris and Brussels were obvious hoaxes.

One (of many) questions that remains unanswered and largely unasked, where is the audiotape recording of the 911 call where Mateen pledges loyalty to ISIS? That’s public record and should be released immediately.
Zero hedge has an article (https://tinyurl.com/jvc4qcr) delving into Mateen’s employer G4S plc. In short, G4S is a multinational security company analogous to Blackwater/XE, et al. The article goes into G4S’ alleged links with resettling undocumented immigrants across the country without proper processing or issuing court appearance documents. It also reviews Mateen’s prior contacts with the FBI as detailed by James in his summary above.

Does this mass casualty producing event really affect very much. Does trying to pin it and others in the past and those to come answer any questions we don’t already know? That whatever or whoever the cause the authorities will use said events to their advantage in propaganda or policy depending on the nature and severity of the event. In the grand scheme of things don’t we have bigger fish to try to fry? What if such an event drew no reaction from the public, would they then subside?
A coworker of mine was in the club on Saturday, and made it out. She was treated for scrapes and bruises, but was not shot. She said there was a lot of shooting, but never saw the shooter. She has yet to speak with the media.
Some of the witness reports describe an automatic weapon. Several have referenced someone holding a door closed. I have heard unconfirmed reports of several police officers, at least 5 or 6, shooting in the direction of club from behind their cars.
I live about two blocks from the scene. Every street for miles is blocked off with police tape. You can’t get within 200 feet. They put up a chain link fence and black tarp around the building so there is no line of sight.

Has anyone seen reporting actually showing any dead bodies or the blood soaked injured being helped by emergency service personnel? The only videos I’ve seen from the MSM repeating stations are of civilians carrying what appears to be the uninjured and untraumatized away from the scene. Don’t the police usually lock down such scenes and keep civilians back? This is just for starters in trying to come to some objective reasoning on what if anything actually took place.

One thing I did notice which seemed an anomaly was from a cell phone video supposedly taken within the Pulse club as the shooting begins. We hear four or five distinct pops…pop pop pop pop. Now unless this was a suppressed firearm (silencer) the sound of firing an AR-15, especially in an enclosed space, would be a Deafening BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM, blocking out all other sounds. This is why firearm users wear hearing protection at the firing range. This captured sound of firing suggests some sort of “blank” ammunition being used in my opinion.

My thoughts so far is that the killer probably had a severe conflict of identity.
Its known that there are a number of Muslim men who have homosexual thoughts or cravings, and need to surpress this due to their religion. The reason why many gay bashers or (high placed) gay haters are latent homosexuals.
It could be that working in an environment of a company like G4S he has been targeted and pushed to deal these thoughts, and not in a positive way. Not so much making him a patsy but an easy target to explode this already ticking time bomb.
There are reports of him visiting LGBT clubs and being on gay dating apps, so its a possibility.
Then an attack on the gay community could be a logical response. A severe conflict of split personality.

What has happened with the advent of modern communication is that we are at the mercy of govt officials and journalists to tell us what happened, but we have absolutely no direct evidence of any of the events.
Here’s an example. After the Columbine shooting, a friend of mine who was active in education reform was contacted by the parents of one of the surviving children at the school. They wanted to remove their child from the school for obvious reasons, but the school and town bureaucrats were putting tons of pressure on them to send their child back to that hell hole. They asked my friend for advice. He traveled to visit with the family. So he had some direct contact with victims and was certain there was a shooting and these people were genuine. There are also pictures of the dead “perps” and lots of eye witness accounts that appear genuine. So, even though the msm didn’t report the truth, I’m pretty sure children where killed there.
Unfortunately, we don’t have direct evidence, but at least there’s some indirect.
Contrast that to Sandy Hoax. No pix, no vids, no bodies despite the triage tarps, no ambulances… I could go on and on. I know someone who lives in Newtown. He says he knows someone whose child died in the school. But he only met this person once, never met the child. For all he knows, the crisis actor was lying to him. No direct evidence to corroborate this fairy tale and not even any indirect evidence.
Add to that that you are a name on a computer screen. For all I know you’re a GI at some military base spreading disinformation (or is it misinformation?) all over the internet.

I know a forensic pathologist at the hospital; I am trying to get more information. I know the police officer, David Napolitano, whose helmet was damaged. One of the survivors works with me; she was one of the first to make it out of the club. She never saw the shooter. One of her friends did not make it out. Cory Connell was a real person who was definitely killed. There are at least 2 others I can confirm were real people who were killed.
What happened at Pulse nightclub is more Waco than Sandy Hook, with an ISIS/homegrown terror subplot. A real event, with real victims, mixed with crisis actors, I’m guessing to A) Make sure the media stays on message; and B) throw out red herrings for the truth movement. This investigation will drag out as long as necessary for the FBI to doctor up the investigation to fit the lone wolf narrative. Today I saw them in HAZMAT suits scrubbing the streets of evidence.
I am not saying the media/FBI aren’t inflating the death/injury numbers, or that others were not involved in the planning or execution of the operation; I just know for a fact that it was not an entirely staged event. i think we can all agree that given the extent of control over the evidence and scene of the crime, there is little hope that we will ever know the full story of what happened at Pulse.

The real truth of the story was released to a former Los Angeles County prosecutor who works for Get Off the BS by two Santa Monica police officers that have been issued gag orders under threat of Federal prosecution for talking further talking about the incident.
According to two department sources, Howell called the Santa Monica police on Sunday morning claiming that he needed protection from the CIA. Howell further elaborated to the dispatcher stating that he “had been set up by the CIA – they are going to kill me.”
According to Howell, he was in LA to meet with another person in a collaborated attack on the gay communities in both Florida and Los Angeles.
Howell additionally stated that, “everything has gone south. Dan was gone when I got here. They killed the leader of the Florida attack this morning. They are going to kill me. I need protection.”
According to sources within the police department’s investigation Howell indicated to officers who first made contact with him that Howell claimed he was one of five people involved in a planned Sunday attack on both the east and west coasts.
Howell stated that he was suppose to “hook up” late Saturday night with his contact in LA who was suppose to have more weapons and chemicals to mix with the Tannerite he was in possession of.
“When I got here, Dan was gone. I went to his apartment and he had cleared out . . . I tried calling him but he never answered me,” said Howell.
When questioned about the other four people involved in the plot, Howell was only familiar with the first names of three of the alleged suspects, naming his contact in LA – Dan and two of the three contacts in Florida, Omar and Brandy
Speaking of the suspect killed in the Pulse Bar massacre in Florida, Howell stated, “Omar was not suppose to be killed. They lied to us – Omar and Brandy were suppose to get away.”
When Howell was questioned about how he and his conspirators knew each other, he said that,
“We were all familiar with each other through an online fundamental Islamic knowledge seminary course[1] – we were recruited through the course and trained together at a camp in Virginia – we were taught how to shoot and make bombs – everyone knew their part – something went wrong….”
Before the officers could further question Howell, agents working for the Los Angeles office of the FBI quickly swept in and took over the case. Santa Monica detectives were never allowed to talk with Howell.
In summary, it appears that Howell was on his way to “hook up” with another conspirator (Dan) to set off explosives and shoot people at the gay pride parade in Hollywood California on Sunday.
Finding his contact missing when he got to LA and having heard that Omar Matteen had been killed by a FBI SWAT teem in Orlando, Howell determined he had been double crossed by the CIA and feared for his own life.
Howell was taken in to custody by the FBI before Santa Monica police officers could further question him about the motives behind killing gay people on both coasts of the US on Sunday.
However, in absence of further information and or anyone who will officially go on the record, there is no doubt that the America public is not being told the truth about the Orlando Florida shooting and the arrest of Howell on Sunday.

Barely 3? Many children continue to potty train throughout age 3. Three-year-olds have not fully developed their gross motor skills and would be at very high risk for fall and injury climbing up on porcelain toilets (especially ones without covers). I find it hard to believe that a toilet-climbing drill took place with children of that age group without parental consent or foreknowledge. Many schools for kids that age have extra-low toilets without doors bc of need for adult aid. Three-year-olds do not have enough vocabulary or experience constructing complex sentences to come home and tell mommy about a mass-shooting safety drill done at school. My first thought would be, “What kind of place implements this practice without informing parents?” My first stop would be to seek clarification from the school officials on exactly what happened and why it came to be without parental knowledge. Then I would want to know what safety experts suggested that safety increases by climbing on toilet seats in a restricted bathroom without any escape, nor furniture to barricade the door. I can see children under age 4 coming into Children’s Emergency rooms all over the country from head injuries sustained at home while practicing that fun toilet-climbing drill done at school. WTF?
A child that young could not even sustain balance for a prolonged period of time during a would-be shoot out (statistically 12-15 minutes average). Does the entity that licenses this school or daycare know about and approve of this drill? There are huge safety standards on this kind of stuff … it’s called Accident Safety and Prevention – 90% of childhood trauma injuries can be prevented. Children are at more risk at that age of falling off the toilet seat due to their disproportionate top-heaviness and incomplete gross motor skill development. When CHildren’s hospitals across the country see a surge in closed head injuries and internal head bleeds, I am blaming CNN.
This is absolute ridiculousness. Not to mention, it does not follow the professionally recommended protocols for staying safe during an active shooter situation. A good “hide out” is one that does not trap you or restrict your movement to escape. Children are going to follow their teachers, why would a teacher lead a class to a bathroom area (restrictive) where there is nothing to barricade the door? We must keep our eyes on the real issue, which is constitutional rights. I don’t like guns, never believed in them nor wanted to think about them much less have one. But, that was when I was asleep to the possibility that one day, I may have to bear arms to protect my home or family from a tyrant government. The constitutional rights do not just apply to me, they apply to my neighbors and other citizens as well. I have seen enough abuse of power that I totally understand why an ordinary citizen deserves the right to bear arms, especially in the current political climate.
My attitude about guns is different when thinking about a wide range of scenarios. We should not let MSM meta data polarize the issue of the 2nd amendment. Mateen’s career seems a bit hard to pin down. G4S? Actor? Both?
It’s quite odd because initially the mockumentary in which he quite clearly is an actor playing a security guard (can’t remember the name of the film atm) was touted in the media as a genuine documentary in which Mateen was appearing as himself – i.e. a genuine security guard. But then researchers found his IMDB page in which this and his other acting credits were listed, and this particular narrative started to look a bit threadbare. Soon after this his IMDB page was scrubbed, and versions of the mockumentary became hard to find on Youtube, so it was clearly a sensitive topic for someone.
Is there something else beyond the mere statements in the press to show Mateen worked for G4S as well as being an occasional actor?
