  1. I too, referenced “It’s a Wonderful Life” when trying to explain fractional reserve lending & money-as-debt in simplistic terms to my children yesterday.

    • Mike Maloney did a very good series History of money. Depending on your kids age, that documentary might be suitable.

      Also, if they are able to undersrand the concepts, a game on monopoly can be used to explain this fraud in detail.

  2. I shared this in the March open thread but seems appropriate to share here as well.
    The Federal Reserve is currently rolling out a new instant payment system called FedNow. I think it’s likely the new infrastructure for CBDC, just getting their foot in the door before the new currency rollout. It’s an “exciting new change in payments”.
    https://www.frbservices.org/financial-services/fednow

  3. calling HRS,,
    mate this is way off topic, but a friend (in need) is chasing info about a supplement called “prostadine”.

    I remember way back you writing a bit about you having been a bit of an authority / cataloguer of supplements (was it for a health food shop?).

    when he asked me to help search, google spit 7 pages of links all giving positive reviews, most were marketing pitches pretending to be a review. some of the linked sites had bogus addresses something like “www.sciencettimes.com” which would lead to pretend science sites or always positive reviews.

    the claims of the ingredients are impressive. after such a thoroughly pretentious – aggressive pitch I wonder what’s in those bottles. Can that sort of thing be tested to see what’s in it?

    clearly its a maximum marketing effort, but because of the scale and absolute nature of the sales pitch I’m left wondering what else they’re up to?

    any guidance on finding better info on it is much appreciated.

    best,
    v

    • vadoum,
      Hi!
      I’m glad that I spotted your comment, because for weeks I have been so busy with so many different projects that currently I don’t have time to read all the comments.
      I got a lot of stuff going on.

      Personally, I would never buy “prostadine”.
      In fact, when I see marketing like that, then the real benefactor is the seller – not the consumer.
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~
      “prostadine” – $69 Per Bottle – 2 ounces
      Contains…
      Nori Yaki Extract Powder
      Wakame Extract
      Kelp Powder
      Bladderwrack Powder
      Saw Palmetto Extract
      Pomegranate Extract
      Iodine
      Shilajit
      Neem
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      I think the first four items are seaweeds. Often Chinese/Japanese/Korean grocery stores sell seaweed cheap.

      As far as supplements are concerned…
      Tell your friend to certainly take Saw Palmetto Extract. Pygeum might be another herb.
      A good idea is for the person to visit a vitamin place like https://www.pureformulas.com/
      Then enter “prostate support”.

      It is always a good idea to drink plenty of water (often with squeezed lemon).
      I think smoothies with lemon, parsley, leafy greens, ginger, garlic and whatever else are very good for a person.
      Magnesium is an extremely important mineral. I take a product called “Calm”.
      I’ve always been an advocate of Iodine. I take Lugol’s.
      There are many things which a person can do which might improve things.

      If your friend is married or has a girlfriend, have your friend tell her that the Doctor says that he needs lots of sex. 😉
      Actually, somewhere buried in the past on these comment threads is an interview with a lady Doctor (ob-gyn) who tells her female patients to be sure to have lots of sex with the husband in order to support prostate health.
      (I’ll bet that the husbands encourage their wives to go to this Doc.)

      Anyway, hope this helps.

      • Reference:

        The original podcast interview of the lady Doctor (Dr Prewitt) mentioned above is no longer. It is scrubbed from the internet.
        However, the Dallas Doctor Maryann Prewitt of “HealthWellnessMD” has #12 on this webpage 12 Health Benefits of Sex.
        https://www.healthwellnessmd.com/tag/mental-health/

        As an aside…
        Something interesting which I just saw today was on her webpage What is the P-Shot®
        healthwellnessmd.com/intimacy/the-p-shot/

        • thanks heaps,
          yes all that helps.

          particularly: “when I see marketing like that, then the real benefactor is the seller”

          the plants seem right for the intended target, but the explanation and spin lack the integrity of sincere humility (empirical debate). The available “reviewing” is a distorted name for what is clearly an attempt at emotional manipulation of the viewer, otherwise known as deception). The writer sounds desperate?

          and on the other hand I can be projecting a my own inflamed skepticism of the increased factor that people these days are too willing to lie. One friend said” oh thats just the way mainstream shopping ads are, its normal, you dont know how common that style is because you dont watch tv”.

          I wonder how hard it would be to do a complete chemical breakdown/analysis of everything in the bottle, in hopes of not finding anything un-towards? when I got to the transalted israeli times “sponsored” article,, theres a little voice singing from the peanut gallery “Moosaad, nano-nefarium,,,”

          “Doctor (ob-gyn) who tells her female patients to be sure to have lotsa,,

          agreed, use it or lose it.

          if I get any closer to the truth of whats in the bottle, I’ll let you know,

  4. 512 is the one to bookmark. I’ll surely give this another listen.

  5. Bonds (Debt Securities)

    Debt Securities (Bonds) are typically issued by corporations or governments (including local cities). The Bond Market is HUGE…much, much larger than the Stock Markets.
    It is important to note that many institutions own bonds. Banks often own bonds. E.g. Think about the pension funds and retirement accounts.
    In simple terms, a Bond is a promise to pay a certain amount of money in the future at “Maturity” (usually based on an interest rate.)

    For years the M2 Money Supply has been growing and interest rates have been very low.
    Thus, entities which had purchased Bonds have been holding bonds which paid a very low interest rate at “Maturity”.

    Currently, the Money Supply is aggressively being contracted while interest rates are rising.
    Current bonds which are being issued offer a much higher yield (higher paid interest) than previous era bonds.

    So…if you are holding old Bonds which pay a low yield, then you are in a pickle. If you sell them, you will take a loss.

    More Bank Failures Are Imminent as Liquidity Crisis Exposes Major Problems With the Banks
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1qNAPVx8A4

    In this video, Steven Van Metre points out how the CEO of SVB sold over 3 million dollars of his stock about 2 weeks prior to the collapse.
    More importantly, Steven Van Metre shows us how bank accounting works with HTM (Held-to-Maturity) bonds. By the 5 minute mark, you’ll get the scoop.

    It doesn’t take too many IQ points to grasp how far reaching this subtle accounting tactic is.
    Many institutions use it.

  6. “Drive your truck in some weird way in Canada” ??? JEP has a way of really cracking me up.

    • haha ya and “Georgia Dreams.. that sounds like a name for a cannabis strain” haha 🙂

  7. I think is it worth re-iterating that if you are not already taking steps to gather knowledge, skills experience and tools that will allow you to cultivate your own food and medicine at home you are leaving yourself wide open to being screwed when centralized infrastructures are destabilized (whether intentionally and/or due to their innately flimsy nature).

    ??? ??? ????????? ?? ????????? ??? ??? ????? ????? ?? ?? ??? ??????????

    Fiat currency banks will be thrown under the bus to make way for a new and improved CBDC slavery system and while cryptocurrency may hold promise in certain formats (and if used a certain way) it is a transaction system that relies on computers, smart phones and/or having enough people in your local community willing to do obscure peer to peer transaction methods.

    If they slap ‘biometric security gates’ on internet access or you find yourself without power and/or telecommunications network access how effective will your cryptocurrency be at facilitating you being able to put food on the table? Do people at your local farmers market accept peer to peer cryptocurrency transactions for payment?

    I have written in detail about the value of investing in the Earth through planting heirloom seeds in living soils and scaling up your food/seed production to produce exponential decentralized abundance but I have not really outlined how powerful cultivating fungi can be as another form of investing in the living economy of the Earth in detail on here.

    If you are not already growing your own gourmet and/or medicinal mushrooms at home I highly suggest giving it a try.

    Many delicious gourmet mushrooms (including but not limited to, Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, turkey Tail, Oyster and Reishi mushrooms) actually offer impressive medicinal benefits and can be grown by inoculating hardwood logs (such as maple, birch and oak) with spawn that can be sourced from local mushroom cultivation supply stores.

    (continued..)

    • (continued from above..)

      ????? ???? ?? ????????? ????? ?????? ???????, ?????????, ????????? ??? ????? ???? “?????” ?? ?????????? ???? ???????? ????? ??? ????????? ????????? ?? ? ???? ???????? ???????? ?? ???? ?? ???? ???? ?? ?????????, ???????????? ??? ???????????? ???????????.

      Some species (such as Oyster mushrooms) are quite forgiving for beginnners and have such aggressive mycelium that they can grow either indoors or outdoors on a wide range of substrates (such as coffee grounds, cardboard, straw, woodchips or even chopped up phragmites stems). Other species (such as Shiitake, Lion’s Mane and Reishi) can be cultivated via inoculating hardwood logs outside (or on blocks of enriched sawdust inside).

      Inoculated hardwood logs can produce mushrooms for 5-7 years (depending on the size and density/variety of the wood used) and one can even encourage a fully colonized log to produce nutrient dense mushrooms in a matter of days-weeks by soaking them in cold water to simulate spring/fall conditions. ???? ????? ???????? ???? ???? ???? ???? ?????????? ???? ???????? ???? ?????? ???????? ??????? ??? ??????????? ????? ?? ? ???? ?? ???? ???? ????? ?????? ???????/?????? ????????? ‘???? ???????’.

  8. Is the 3rd US Central Bank the solution or the problem?
    It will do what it was created to do, enrich the banksters by the hidden taxation of currency depreciation . Like all theft, taxation destroys wealth. In a coercive political paradigm, as exists, more or less worldwide, social collapse is inevitable. Sometimes it takes a millennium, but the initiation of violence, threats thereof, is anti-reason, rights, choice, and therefore unsustainable for a species that survives by freely using its mind, free exchange of everything, especially ideas.
    The only sustainable political system is an UNTRIED voluntary interaction, a non-violent politics that makes reason primary. This would lead to peace, prosperity, civility. As yet, humanity is NOT civilized, is not moral or practical. It may self-destruct.

    • “As yet, humanity is NOT civilized, is not moral or practical.”

      it may be too soon to tell. (J. Cleese, “what we need is clarity”)

      are we so different than other species/passengers of spaceship earth? there seems to be confusion around the morality of eating.

      Bugs and birds eat flower nectar, but birds also eat bugs, and I eat birds and in tibet, the chopped up remains of a lama (priest) is on a ridge top, feeding the birds, and around the cycle goes.

      so do banksters eat mortgage payers, uni-partyists eat voters, war hawks eat common folk, some extra-dimensinal players eat (is it the voltage?) from psycho-physio stress, while others recharge from projections of respect (faith).

      Some are eating with better manners than others or better alignment with natural law, some more, some less..

      perhaps life’s just a chance for a fledgling imagination to take a long time to decide whether to dominate or cooperate? I hope thats all it is. in which case, to your point: I expect much of the current living and dying of our species to self destruct (many already are, but in a sort-of slow motion).

      “The only sustainable political system is an UNTRIED voluntary interaction, a non-violent politics that makes reason primary.”

      there are many in the area where I live that volunteer, “vollys” works well for all involved.

      For those voluntarist fence sitters, the resistance just before actually leaping into action is the hard part, but can be overcome with 1001 tricks/tools, one of which has become a personal mantra (learned from an ascetic from the Rajasthani desert / friend).

      dominator: “your joy, peace of mind, and general lightness is rare to find. How do you keep that going?”

      voluntarist: “no interest, but all care”

      • @vadoum

        “so do banksters eat mortgage payers, uni-partyists eat voters, war hawks eat common folk”

        Those entities you listed are not analogous to the circle of life you described with the bugs, birds, you and the lama for unlike the predator or scavenger of nature the oligarch’s appetite is insatiable.

        Their relationship to those they feed on is more like the relationship between a malignant cancer cell and the larger organism it inhabits as through their psychosis and sociopathy they actively undermine, cripple and destroy the organism that enables their continued existence (Earth).

        Wolves do not mass murder deer for fun or due to ideological delusions, they hunt what they need to eat, and like the analogy you described with the bugs, birds and humans their way of eating (hunting herbivores for their nutritional needs) sends out trophic cascade ripple effects that feeds many others, alters the migration patterns of herbivores, changing the ecology of river systems and forests in a beneficial way that actually increases biodiversity.

        The banksters, their corporate friends and their politician puppets how ever, kill, torture and dominate for sport, or worst yet, in the name of their delusional superiority complex based belief systems. They do not stop when they have sucked the life out of enough humans to sustain their current way of existing, they always want more, More, MORE.

        I do not see the presence of the banksters and their minions as part of a functioning ecosystem or organism, for their democide, psychotic form of domination and ecocide will eventually result in their own destruction as well if left unchecked.

        Cancer cells can be starved and encouraged to self-destruct via certain stimulus and this is the path I choose to walk now.

        • damn I wrote you long yesterday, but checking in today now see that I musta not pushed “submit comment” before something else caught what was left of my attentiveness (likely the missus),,

          bref;
          banksters and nukes really are part of reality. They are as natural as a swaying palm frond or a resultant quark. and so the question perhaps could be, why? What purpose do toxins and n’er do-wells hold? Or even if “why” is too much to ask for how about what can be done with these negatively charged forces?

          I dunno, but am pretty sure its too soon to tell.

          I liked your point of how wolf hunting can symbioticly enhance a whole chain of events to the general well being of the forests where they dwell. in oz an elder would say: “Thats their law”.

          I’m tending towards seeing all of the dasterdly acts that are in clear violation of many kinds of law as a projection of and by humanity. so many of us live with the dissonance of hypocritical acts habits or even intentions.

          example: james corbett suggesting less screen time,, uh huh. “He’s right” (said the drop kick while tapping at his itch to at least keep the syntax entertaining).

          G.
          “Cancer cells can be starved and encouraged to self-destruct via certain stimulus and this is the path I choose to walk now.”

          I wonder if you are being metaphoric? but “encouraging to self destruct” is what the dominators are trying to do” (“aids”). starving any parasite usually helps to weaken it.

          If its really about disolving cancer, I like the idea that the micro-biome level of the body can be recharged, via radiating the right voltage. Its I think borrowed from Tesla’s untried musings.

          for further reading on that last idea:

          https://altered-states.net/lmwo/lmwo.htm

    • Voluntaryist

      “… In a coercive political paradigm, as exists, more or less worldwide, social collapse is inevitable. Sometimes it takes a millennium….”

      If a coercive society does not collapse for 1000 years then I think that it is probably a rather stable paradigm.

      “…The only sustainable political system is an UNTRIED voluntary interaction, a non-violent politics that makes reason primary. …”

      If a system is untried then chances are that it is unnatural and not stable. Most things that are stable will tend to be seen a lot, either because they form naturally or because they last ages.

  9. did i hear someone say small hats? oh my. verboten territory.

  10. WE HAVE BEEN WARNED FOR A LONG TIME…

  11. “People who abuse animals rarely stop there” … “animal torturers out there go on to be psychopaths”. They don’t go on to be psychopaths, they already are.

    • @Paul Dove

      I agree. I thought the same thought when I heard that.

      I think it is rather humanocentric to only designate the torture of human beings as being worthy of distinguishing one as psychopathic. Animals are beings too, they feel pain, have emotions, and even if they did not, the behavior patterns one is choosing in their interactions with non-human beings would still be indicative of mental state and a pattern that will also extend to humans.
