I remember the era. Some friends and I were at the Dallas Federal Reserve passing out 9/11 DVDs to the crowd of “End the Fed” protestors. I brought some signs. Alex Jones came and raged at the building.
Ron Paul – End the Fed – There was an esprit which permeated grassroots America. It was a “Thing that Inspires”.
Anarchists might be quick to label and dismiss the Ron Paul run for President as just another foolish, “Hopium filled”, Statist ritual in the arena to entertain the masses. It is certainly true that for many, Ron Paul was viewed as a potential “Savior” to fix the State.

Marketing involves effective ways to promote that message.

I’ve read a few Russian novels. Two nights ago I watched “Gorky Park” starring William Hurt and Lee Marvin. I read the novels of Martin Cruz Smith about Soviet Russia. They are good detective novels with the twist of life in the Soviet Union.

You lost me with the cryptocurrency. Relying on the grid and computers for money is dangerous. Sure, I have digital money in a bank. I don’t like it but it works. Gold and silver are better.
There is a movement back to gold and silver as money. It isn’t all gloom and doom. Hell, cigarettes and chocolate were money in Germany after WW2.
I totally agree. I want something MORE real than federal reserve notes, not LESS real. Relying on anything online is the wrong approach in my opinion. That is the reason James offers physical copies of his podcasts and presentations and encourages people to get them. I think those may be available online longer than digital money transactions.
Digital currency is literally nothing … unless someone else accepts it as something. Just like FRNs. I have yet to hear convincing evidence that it is a valid or useful upgrade to what we have.
And yes, precious metals. They could be stolen, but they won’t just disappear into thin air (which is the only place digital currency has ever existed). 🙂
