    James,

I’m happy you’ve recently been talking more about concrete actions and directions for the free internet to follow. There are so many different directions this situation could go and it seems that hardly anyone is even talking about this, let alone laying out solid options. This is extremely important and I’ve had just a hell off a time finding any decent movements in any direction(though, admittedly this is probably exacerbated by the censorship..which is why everyone should be discussing it).

IPFS sounds great and I’ll be sure to get set up on there. What about I2P?? This seems like another real solution, and what everyone thought Tor was. Have you looked into this much? Also, what about network access and decentralized networks, when ISPs start blocking things like IPFS and I2P. Mesh nets?

With IPFS and/or I2P, anyone with a spare computer could contribute to internet freedom.

  2. Libertydan says:

I get a link to the latest “9/11 Free Fall” with my subscription to AE911Truth. It is good to see that James is providing them with some additional coverage. The determination it takes to stay on topic and keep pushing for the truth relative to the Events in NY on 9/11/01 is worth noting.
With nearly 3 million people employed by the U.S. Government, (see link)
    https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/CES9091000001
how many do we suspect knew something about the 9/11/01 False Flag Events? And, how many Government employees actually willingly participated in carrying it out and/or covering it up? My guess is, perhaps a few thousand people caused these Events to happen.
Does this make the whole of the U.S. Government bad? I say, only in the sense that at a ratio of a thousand to one, the “so called” good people in the Government can’t seem to find a way to bring the evil insiders to justice.
Indeed, all that is needed for evil people to ruin the Government (and the world) is for good people to do nothing. The evil doers are one in a thousand, yet they rule. And they do it, though lies and deception, diversion and division.
What did you think of that Super Bowl Half Time Show, and the $5.6 million 1/2 min. Commercial Spots? The masses are being manipulated by the few.

Hey Libertydan, maybe even less took part. Compartmentalized people do tasks that they could never connect to being complicit in the outcome. I suspect there were a number of specialized contractors, hardened racketeers. Probably foreign.
On the last part on the Superbowl, I voted with my feet and ignored the entire fake distracting affair. I won in every way that day.

    Hi all,

    Two points.

A search on youtube for (quoted) “century of enslavement” shows at least two results from James’ youtube channel that are *not* the video, and at least 10 re-publications by others of the video (in the first 40 odd entries). This is a change since 2 odd years ago in which the video at James’ channel would appear. So, his channel is not completely blacklisted but direct sourcing of videos to it are. Weird, because most of the reposts also add a link to his channel or the corbettreport.com site, so its a failed “ban”. But it does significantly reduce traffic to corbettreport.com, which would seem to be the aim.

I’ve been using youtube-dl to download videos from youtube for at least 8 years. I very rarely actually watch video on youtube, and only when they’re very short. I’ll explain why below. However, during the last year, I have begun to receive errors when downloading:

ERROR: Unable to download webpage: HTTP Error 429: Too Many Requests

This is because I rarely download directly from youtube, but via the Tor network (also explained below). The key thing is that these error have become more and more frequent over the last few months, to the point where I can restart my Tor connection to generate a new circuit (i.e the address that google sees as requesting the video changes) up to 4 times before the download will proceed.

So, this is not so much censorship of content or indexing, but prevention of access via Tor.

    On youtube-dl and Tor.

Why youtube-dl? Firstly, no ads and you can instantly skip around to any part of the video that has been downloaded (convenience). Secondly, the download does +1 their view count (credit the creator). Thirdly, I assume that google records everything they can about a video being watched; which bits you paused, skipped, replayed etc. and I do not wish to provide this information to the surveillance monster. Finally, I then have the video locally and can decided if I wish to keep it and thus google cannot get between me and this video again.

Why Tor? Because then google has a much harder time building a profile about what I am watching. Again, denying the surveillance monster. This is evidenced by the errors I outline above; they are trying to limit this. But, why not download directly from corbettreport.com? Because youtube publishes rescaling of the upload, and I always download the small to medium size; less bandwidth and less time to download. The later part means that I can start watching it very soon as only 1% needs to be downloaded before the video will start playing (on a GNU/Linux system). If I want the full high-quality version, I’ll pull that from corbettreport.com.

Oh, lastly, hats off to James for running his own site. This provides the greatest independence. I always visit corbettreport.com to see when he’s been up to. Never youtube or anywhere else. And hats off for diversifying his audio/video and text publications to other platforms like D-tube (which is crap over Tor), minds etc.. This is wise.

    Have fun.

  4. AlainBos says:

My God, why is Andrew Steele talking about ‘krypton is exploding’ ? Which cartoon that depicts the explosion of krypton is he talking ? There were only natural causes to the destruction of krypton – so the remark in comparison to youtube censorship and krypton’s demise is not a good comparison since youtube’s censorship is not a natural occurrence but specific man-made occurrence…

  5. Fawlty Towers says:

Canada’s biggest MSM outlet (the CBC) continues its 24/7 Covid-19 fear-porn.
Today they posted a fake news article on their website claiming that Sweden’s deaths have just spiked, using false data.

Although I decided to boycott the site with my comments a few years ago due to frequent censorship, I thought maybe just this once I would correct their error.

    This was my post:

” “But in the past few days, there’s been a dramatic spike in deaths. Reuters reported Monday that Sweden has had 477 coronavirus-related deaths (an increase of 76 deaths from Sunday) and 7,206 cases (up by 376 from Sunday).”

    Stop the fear-mongering CBC!
And please, I implore you, get your facts straight.

No there hasn’t been a dramatic spike in deaths the past few days!
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC)’s own data shows a steady decline in deaths the past few days (51, 40, 28) !

No there hasn’t been an increase of 76 deaths from Sunday.
There have been 28 deaths since Sunday!

This story is pure, unfounded fear mongering. Shame on you! ”

And of course wouldn’t you know it, I received notice shortly afterword
that the comment was ‘disabled’ (never published).
