This year’s official Bilderberg meeting agenda is the usual list of vague references to broad categories of topics…but is there anything we can gather from the topic list? And what of this year’s participants? Join James for today’s Thought for the Day as we break down the upcoming Dresden 2016 edition of the Bilderberg meeting.

  1. Thanks for the video James. I have a book on the Bilderberg group by Daniel Estulin. Have you read it? Is it any good?

  2. Hi James,

Thank you for another interesting video.
To answer at your question about what names we recognize in the Bilderberg’s participants list, my attention was attracted by the following names:

Bengio, Yoshua (CAN), Professor in Computer Science and Operations Research, University of Montreal
    and
Hassabis, Demis (GBR), Co-Founder and CEO, DeepMind

These two researchers are associates of Geoffrey Hinton, Professor at University of Toronto and relatively recently an employee of Google. They are well-known worldwide experts on deep learning. Hinton mentioned on his blog he is working on a Google project related to brain. I have a feeling that the robots of the future will be very “grateful” to these researchers.

Another name that attracted my attention is Craig Mundie who was the Microsoft’s Research Chief during the last years of Bill Gates with the company. Bill Gates expressed many, many times his satisfaction with recruiting Craig Mundie to work for Microsoft as Chief of Research.

Other names that attracted my attention are the USA senator and ex-presidential candidate Graham Lindsey and the ex-CIA Director David Petraeus.
I personally cannot see what Graham Lindsey can offer to Bilderberg organization but you never know.

    Cheers,
    Michaela

    • What’s strange about that? It’s named after the hotel where the first meeting took place and they’ve referred to it as that publicly and privately ever since (see for example Retinger’s own account of how the group — which he calls “The Bilderberg Group”–came together: https://info.publicintelligence.net/bilderberg/BilderbergGroupRetinger.pdf). It’s on all of the agendas and correspondence that have ever come out from Bilderberg, and attendees even get a “B” for their luggage when they attend. Their official website is BilderbergMeetings.org. There are interviews with Bilderberg attendees talking about attending “Bilderberg” including the 2003 BBC Radio report that I’ve played a number of times on the podcast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rZQwJJf-Kg). It is not an arbitrary name.

Anyway, most of the documents that have come out from Bilderberg have been obtained tangentially, via the personal correspondence and journals of attendees which are often donated to archives or released under FOIA. More details about these documents and where they come from is available here:
