So if the FBI is calling for social media companies to ban conspiracy theory content because it is “potentially harmful,” then what other kinds of content should be banned from the net? Russiagate conspiracy theories? Harmful images of people ingesting GMOs and endocrine disrupting chemicals and other toxins? What else? Feel free to chime in below!

  1. Paradoxically, I would ban all those who ban for, it seems, I am prejudiced against bigotry and intolerant of those whose opinions differ from my own. Incidentally, I am ashamed of being a white, western, non-racist male.

  2. Hi James,

    I would ban me and you.

    Recently some videos I ordered from the Corbett Report arrived, opened and inspected by CBSA. Reminds me of an older video when they confiscated your poetry or something.

    So me being a retired soldier that knows a thing or two weapons, explosives etc and you being a conspiracy theorist with an authoritative male voice sending me anti gov videos from Japan – well, we need to be banned.

    It is very scary that an intellectual in Japan is conspiring with a crusty old Canuck vet and it needs to stopped.We obviously jeopardize public safety…:)

    Seriously, thanks for all your hard work.

  3. The Star Spangled Banner

  4. Cat videos

    Those little domestic terrorists can be so dangerously amusing and adorable. And they might give my own cats funny ideas about the nefarious mischief they could start getting into here at home.

  5. Well, Cooly beat me to it. I was going to say cat videos, but not for the reason he stated. These creatures are being exploited for our entertainment. Do they get any say? In fact, ban all animal videos!

    I have more! There are a lot of DIYers, and well, some of the things these people are doing is dangerous. For their own good, they should be banned.

    Lastly, religious bloggers have no business teaching other believers unorthodox things. I mean, they didn’t even go to seminary!!

    This world is a very dangerous place.

      Hi darling. Just so you know, I was only thinking of the videos, of which I have seen just a handful, where it is just a case of the person pulling out the camera when their pets are being curious and silly. Since they did not give consent to being filmed and put on YouTube, I guess that is exploitative. Similar to posting photos or videos of small children with no say in the matter. So at the same time I see nothing harmful being done to the kitties, but I see what you are saying.
      As to other animal videos, in which they are manipulated, put into possible or actual lethal situations, or simply messed with like that Steve Irwin guy used to do, was that his name? for human “education” or “entertainment”, I share your disgust.

      • C’mon Cooly. Grumpy Kitty?! That’s Body Shaming 101! Ban it!!

        I’m so glad you brought up kid/baby videos. They need to go too…like yesterday!!

  6. Don’t be ridiculous. If you got your way, who would take care of me?

    (James Corbett: I think you should ban UseLogic)

  7. Very seldom do we see James in error. The Bill of Rights describes some of our unalienable rights. In the declaration of Independence, our Founder’s acknowledge that all men are created equal, with no mention of geographical limits. It follows that all humans, wherever located, are endowed with unalienable rights. Furthermore, if the evil tentacle of the USG reaches out and touches a non exceptional American, the Bill of Rights MUST apply.

    • Important US government update… James and anyone in the world like him, regardless of nationality, is currently an “enemy combatant”. Enemy combatants are regarded as mere animals. They have no rights, whether they may brandish a sword, pen, or keyboard. Yes, they are equal, just like anyone else in the barnyard of this 21st century animal farm where, make no mistake, the Bill of Rights does NOT apply. To make this point clear, President Obama created a worldwide “kill list” for enemy combatants whose time comes up for slaughter. US citizens have been some of its victims.

  8. Seriously, I’d ban Marxist/postmodern subversion. It is definitely an all-encompassing conspiracy. It is blasted 24/7 on all news networks, in all Hollywood movies, it’s everywhere. Its purpose is to demoralize society in order to later overthrow the existing system and take control. Its effects are, to quote Yuri Bezmenov, USSR ex-KGB subversive, “They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern [alluding to Pavlov]. You cannot change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still can not change the basic perception and the logic of behavior.” He continues, “In other words [for] these people the process of demoralization is complete and irreversible.” In other words, it destroys minds.

    That is what I’d ban. Actually I think it’s already illegal in the US under Seditious conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 2384). But who’s going to stop ’em?!?

    If, in the unlikely event, you aren’t familiar with Bezmenov:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6lksJhBvas

    His relevance grows each and every day.

  9. Furthermore, I’d ban psychotropic drug commercials. Yep. Most alleged shooters are taking these drugs. These are killer ads. BAN THEM!

  10. Banning videos calling for things to be banned would be a good start.

  11. Ban Government…plain and simple…(and NO sarcasm!)…oh, and maybe the text…’Etc’…Ah yes,,I am a close Corbett listener!..and it bugs me too!

  12. I was going to say (and would ‘vote harder’ to get this): Ban toilet paper for all politicians.

    But then I realized that they don’t use toilet paper.
    Anything they touch turns to shit.

    ~~~
    By the way, now I am leery of Canucks, especially crusty ones.
  13. For real…
    While I really wouldn’t ban another person’s voice, I would love to see this Garrett Gunderson guy get an education.
    But if he is a psychopath, then an education wouldn’t matter. A psychopath would still promote this “Rockefeller admiration club”.
  14. I would ban Pilato, clearly a thought criminal…
  15. I know this is a little off topic but I would love to hear what people think, especially of course what Corbett thinks of it and if you maybe able to add on or to articulate what I am saying better.
    All of this technology and this push for technology for brain implants such as Neuralink, or methods of decoding speech/ thoughts from your brain and putting them into text as Facebook is trying to do so you can post straight from your brain to online; by all these big tech corporations that don’t just have intimate ties to intelligence agencies, but were basically created by them, seems to be apart of an agenda much more sinister than one would imagine. It would be an agenda to take away the last frontier of privacy we have, which is our own personal thoughts, inner monologue etc… by coercion or by force, and as George Orwell put it; “Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimeters inside your skull”.
    These implants for brain-computer interface that are touted as breakthrough technologies for neurological disorders as well as people who are paralyzed, as a way for them to talk and interact in a way not possible before are obviously not just that. We all know this is just a way to get this tech out there and for people to trust it and welcome it. There are of course different, more malevolent applications of such tech that aren’t mentioned except by the “conspiracy nuts” and whomever else that would question how else could this tech be used for. The masses trust these big tech companies such as Facebook, Google, YouTube, as well as other players like Amazon very much. The masses do not know the influence of our military/ intelligence agencies have on these companies origins and operations so anything that is pushed through these companies people will flock to and welcome with open arms. Well I believe the agenda is to eventually mandate some form of technology that will read your thoughts and it will be said to be beneficial to us in whatever ways they come up with whether it will be through implants or some combination of things.
    The elite will be able to accomplish this on the basis of helping us as well as helping humanity or will be through fear, hell it may even be a combination of the two. They could say that for national security they must be able to have access to our thoughts for our own protection etc etc….
    Obviously there are so many ways this agenda I hope I have articulated well, could be rolled out and implemented. I would love to hear some other ideas on how these military/ deep state created technologies that would be pushed through the big tech companies (to disguise where they came from) would be implemented throughout society…
  16. Never lampoon the red herring of audacious stupidity — we may let it off the hook of scrutiny too easily. Instead, look at the bigger picture, then let the harpoons fly. Behind the FBI lies the Deep State hell-bent on US Constitutional subversion. Peruse past calendars of false-flagged “terror” events: second amendment rights to bear arms are a perennial target. Here, first amendment rights of free speech are the target of a ludicrous FBI policy, presented as an ad hoc measure to combat chimeric enemies. “Ad hoc” measures against constitutional rights easily become “de facto” runarounds against the Constitution itself. That’s the point.
  17. Don’t ban anything. Let market forces self regulate the idle Jacks. Soon libtards will become strange fruit by there own self determination. Telling someone or something what they
    can’t do or be never works. Ban the urge to ban anything. This must be a trick question. Like a fake phone #*
    * recently banned humortorial to cheer an ailing compadre
    • Interesting trivia out there about “fake phone #s”; many of those created off the tops of our heads do actually work somewhere. Unless you went to a Fake Number generator* and the Corbett Report being an international read, he very likely didn’t want to take the chance since it wouldn’t fare well for his blog being tied to silly prank calls.
      *FakeNumber dot org says:
      Were you to make up a random US phone number yourself, there is a high chance of your number ending up being valid. However, with Fake Number’s free and ethical service, you can have full confidence that all generated US telephone numbers are indeed 100% non-working. If you’re still not convinced about how we can help, you should read up on the makers of 2003 film ‘Bruce Almighty’ using ###-#### as a number to call God, which resulted in nuisance calls across many areas.
      Please note that the use of any fake telephone numbers generated by Fake Number does not imply that the resulting US number has been allocated. It should also be remembered that whilst these random phone numbers will not be assigned for use by telephony companies in the foreseeable future, there is no guarantee that this situation will remain unchanged forever. Ultimately, ensuring that there is sufficient numbering capacity available to meet future requirements for ‘real’ US telephony purposes is likely to be of greater priority.
  18. Nothing should be censored. If I censor you, then you would censor me, etc… This world is made of nice & bad people. Censoring anyone won’t change that. We are here to learn, to experience, no to judge or censor.
  19. Please can we ban that awful 80s band ‘Simply Red’ from TV, Radio and the internet? Every time I hear that rubbish I feel like going on a wild killing spree..
    • Many thanks, Brother Manbearpig.
      Partly in a bid to enlighten subscribers as to the source of my hatred, but also that I’m an incurable masochist; there now follows an example of said drivel.
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiRyiVgWj6g
      I trust we are all able to cope with this content, and hope I haven’t ruined anyone’s weekend.
    • apparent suicide is the right comment ; smells like a Timothy McVeigh kinda death
  20. Ban cheap commercial pop music, especially boy bands, girl bands, dance troupes, anyone who uses dance troupes on stage (apart from Devon Townsend) anyone who writes formulaic banal pop music and the entire youth exploitation industry that rams this insidious, stupefying brain anaesthetic into children’s brains. And tv talent shows, and reality TV, and TV and Simon Cowell.
  21. Okay, going off-topic for a min, guys. I haven’t heard anything out of Chris Bollyn lately. I did a search on him tonight and this had just been released on Helje Bollyn’s (his wife?) YouTube channel
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8o9qQrNI-14
    If, like me, you’re a Chris watcher, you might find this video a little different to everything else he’s done.
    Not a single mention of Israel, for a start. His presentation is also rather… clunky?
    I hope Chris isn’t unwell. It would be great to have him on CR someday.
  22. lol @ banning crusty ol me.
  23. Any thoughts to the idea that most of what we think of as knowledge today has already been banned, censored or corrupted to a large degree and we’re just collectively picking up the bread crumbs…
    Case in point:
    Ancient American Roots by Jon Levi – Show Notes:
    https://youtu.be/nydrN5Epup4
    In this video, Ancient American Roots, I will share a newspaper article written in 1858.
    It’s a different style video than my others in which I offer zero personal opinion and simply read the article as it is. I feel as if I wrote the article in a past life and maybe you will agree.
    Raftsman’s Journal – Antiquities In America 1858
    https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/data/batches/pst_lasch_ver01/data/sn85054616/00212477783/1858010601/0119.pdf
    I found it most fascinating that an article, written 160 years ago, completely sounds as if it was written today, by a newly awakened mind. It also shows how we still know very little about this American continent 160 years later.
