Didn’t like the second part of it, too many “we”‘s, we need to do this and that and organize and strike and withdraw from institutions and dismantle social welfare last etc…, it’s all statist stuff and i got news for ya: war is statist stuff as well. The best solution is Larken’s: make it your job or hobby to help as many people as possible to give up the belief, this needs more snowballing, use his candles in the dark method, or soon his mirror software. Let’s see that Colossus fall of his own weight.

I’m confronted by “believers” daily. i still try, its an extra dicey game, to evoke at the least some acknowledgement of how bamboozling the capitalistic entrenchment, how brazenly obvious the fraud. Its not such a bad system until one finds the truth about how the upper echelons of it are the great exploiters of other people and health of the very planet,, the top end of the wealth/power mob are running the good ship earth as an abatoire/assylum. we are the cows, more and more are steers, and a few are wranglers with shotguns. does grass roots mean we should stampede?
so what is this “belief” that needs giving up?

In Britain – arguably one of the heads of the three headed beast (City of London), you can off-set tax with investments in SMEs. While this is still a state initiative, it’s a good way of using the state’s initiative to defund the state. So, say you fund your local community cafe/shop/whatever, you can off-set 50% against Income Tax, 28% capital gains, 100% inheritance tax, take a capital gains holiday and claw back more tax with loss relief at marginal rate of tax via the Seed and Enterprise Investment schemes (SEIS & EIS). Yep, good people people can volunteer their time and their mind to promote plans that will reduce the power of the oligarchs, however the oligarchs will likely hire trolls and infiltrators to subvert and/or redirect such efforts. This should not deter such efforts because it gives us the opportunity to expose these paid provocateurs and thus expose the oligarchs that pay them. The Truth only hurts those that are hiding from it.
That said, Jimmy Dore has put out some great ideas about Labor groups joining together and shutting the Country down until the Wars are ended. I think he got this idea from the Canadian Trucker Strike relative to creating the beginning of the end for the Covid scam. Indeed, a lot of lies got exposed there, yet the middlemen criminals put into government positions by the oligarchs have yet to be held personally accountable for their sins. It seems as though Crime only pays if one is doing it for the oligarchs that can pay them and pay others not to prosecute them.
Yep, their system runs on money, and money is the root of all evil. Thus, the best way to beat them is to barter or trade as much as possible without using their money (Federal Reserve Notes). Good substitutes for their fake money, which is created out of thin air, are Gold and Silver, or even Cryptocurrency that is not controlled by them, however one has to do some research to know which ones have not been compromised.
The idea that one needs to be able to laugh at the silly incompetent middlemen that have infiltrated governments around the world is a good one. These oligarch pawns only have power because enough manipulated morons in the general public have given it to them. By putting these pawns in the spot light and making fun of them, we not only get to laugh at them, we help break the Spell they have placed on the general public.

My research suggests that one way to possibly stop the war machine is to cut off it’s funding by transitioning to self-issued gift certificates. The easiest, most straightforward example of how to get started with that is for individuals (like you) to stop using bank-issued currency to buy birthday presents for your friends and familly, and instead begin giving self-issued gift certificates as presents. Gift certificates are best-backed with something of which you have a surplus, something that you can produce on demand, and something that doesn’t cost you any bank-issued currency. Time is a good example of something that many people could use to back their gift certificates “This gift certificate is redeemable for a one-hour walk through the park with (insert your name)”. From there, you could expand to other forms of backing such as food from your garden or whatever it is you can produce. This would begin a transition towards a new currency system in which new currency is put into circulation through the funding of good causes (like birthday celebrations) instead of through war, by individuals (not rulers) deciding upon which good causes they want their energy to be spent. It also encourages self-sufficiency and puts priority on the production of things (like food) that support human needs. The stronger that new currency system gets, the weaker the bankster system gets. Ideally it would get to the point that when a bankster offers a high school kid a pile of FRNs to go fight in a war, the kid would respond “What am I going to do with that funny money? No thank you”. A defense contractor employee would say “I can’t work here anymore if you’re going to continue to pay me with that fiat crap”. I’m actually writing a book about this and looking for feedback. Thank you!
I’d like to bounce two thoughts on what we can do. The first is touching on one of Corbetts points.
1)I would LOVE to withdraw my support of businesses & corporations that propagate the war machine. From my understanding how it works from the the top down it’s global governance <federal govn’t <special interest lobbyists, including corporations, companies, foreign governments who woo<elected state reps financially backed by agenda pacs/local companies/corporations, committees, unions etc.
obviously there are a lot of crossing red strings, and loop backs, but that’s my general ignorant understanding.
Where the people get hung up is in finding out WHO is supporting what. And the interest groups are actually diabolical in trying to hide from the people who they’re shaking hands with. In fact aipac just announced it wasn’t going to directly donate to any candidates. They are going to find back doors, have THEIR donors donate as individuals, have some of their smaller affiliate programs donate.
•We need web savvy individuals to create a location where the info is more readily available. I know there are some very helpful transparency sites where you can find who is supporting who, but maybe somewhere better explaining who these committees & groups actually are. That is what I think they hope we don’t notice.
2) We need to encourage younger generations to not be so compliant.
Today my high school senior skipped school. 60+ seniors decided last night in a group chat that they were going to have an unsanctioned senior skip day. The idea spread, and then the PARENT group chat I’m in blew up. People were incensed. Insisted they were making their kids go. This morning my phone dinged away. The kids who went to school were petitioning their parents to call them out. “No one is here!” “The teachers aren’t even teaching because theres no one here!’ One by one parents who were so outraged last night started to admit they were relenting and calling their kids out of school.
A whole semester of civics, and history classes couldn’t have taught these kids a better lesson. Was it some great ethical cause? No. Did it show these downfall of a civilization kids that the people still have the power in organizing and exercising their will? That they are a group made up of individuals and there is still power in that? Yep. I think so. I have faith with maturity, their causes will become less self interested.
Power to the school skippers.
I’m in the UK so my solution is tailored for here. But I am sure the principle can be adapted to most systems.
The first component would be to replace the 2nd House, The House of Lords, with a People’s Chamber. This would be composed of citizens drawn from the population exactly as juries are selected and they would be required to serve for 1 year with a handsome reward for doing so. Their job would be to critically scrutinise legislation put forward by the elected First House (Parliament). All elected representatives will have had to serve a year in the 2nd House to be eligible.
The second component would be direct democracy where all citizens would be required by law to vote on legislation put to them by the People’s Chamber. This would ostensibly be legislation proposed by Parliament but vetoed by the People’s House.
All committees, scrutiny groups, special interest groups, parliamentary inquiries etc would be required to have majority of People’s Chamber members in composition.
Any detected corruption would result in total asset forfeiture and an extended jail term.
With all today’s madness many have been lulled into a mental paralysis as what to do. Well, what to do is SOMETHING, ANYTHING. We all have gifts and talents from IT and writing to organizing. But DO SOMETHING. You can’t do it alone so get out of your house and meet like minded and do it.
Pyramids fall from the bottom. It won’t be easy so put on your big boy/girl clothes.

1. Learn why, satire works. A hidden gem exists even in its very “choosing to” research 2. Poorly explaining x vs y can be hilarious if/when people are receptive… it’s “world-time” that lets that window happen. The humor part, comes from learning to share what you notice with others, and when. 3. Never think something you think as being funny isn’t doing something very powerful, perhaps even unrealized… that isn’t felt off the surface. Ideas exist in perpetuity. There is nothing finite about creativity. Admonish the thought. 4. Base your humor in truth helps show you what “might” have worked better. That is gravel for your intention. 5. No answer is to dumb or too stupid; it just hasn’t found a way that makes it funny enough yet. The only greater weapon then satire, is a bomb. That is why also why Corbett Report matters to me.
If you would like a good film for +1 Satire. The Iron Giant… it’s themes are, and will forever be important… but I’ve found it brings satire to a level young adults can consciously recognize in present and still enjoy some popcorn. 🙂
