  1. Good interview for several reasons.

First, James you are a very good listener and allow your guests to speak which shows both your insight into egocentricity and empathy and your lack of the former.

Secondly, it is always good to ‘see’ and ‘insight’ comes from a the Indian language, how people arrive at their assumptions; how they examine their assumptions to see if they are valid in light of evidence; how they look at other points of view to both oxygenate their thinking and understand the thinking of others; how people begin to understand the often insufferable use of ‘language or concepts’ (e.g. the use of “Marx” without defining what he meant); in distinguishing and knowing how people use meta-cognition, the art of critical insight or perhaps best said, critical thinking about their own thinking and how they derive their conclusions and understandings of the world.

Your guest was not rambling he was explaining the process of his thinking about critical issues. He was modeling critical thinking.

I might agree I might not but this is philosophy. Attempting an understanding of the human condition.

That he arrived at the edge of the jungle of oligarchs and plutocrats shows he is getting out of Plato’s Cave.

We must remember that in the Cave one had to get out of their chains and physically climb for ascension to what Plato called the Good.

Writhing and struggling to get out of chains is physically hard, if one has ever tried it. Ideologically it is just as hard.

Once out one can easily see a system of economic gangsterism with private property in the hands of a few while the many suffer in squalor.

So touche. Having people on your show that can explain their thinking, be it in agreement with mine or not, is very important.

We must understand we are all puzzling the world and consciously or unconsciously using tools to do it.

    By the way:

“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”

Maurice Strong, Opening Speech to UN Rio Earth Summit, Rio de Janeiro, 1992,

    accessed in http://www.infowars.com/maurice-strong-in-1972-isnt-it-our-responsibility-to-collapse-industrial-societies/

We have been here for a long time. The crisis facing financial capitalism is the crisis of over-accumulation.

The Green deals become commodities to hold the system up a little longer.

But it is destined to fail.

“Accumulation of wealth at one pole is therefore, at the same time accumulation of misery, agony of toil, slavery, ignorance, brutality, mental degradation, at the opposite pole, i.e., on the side of the class that produces its product in the form of capital.”

    —– Karl Marx

How right he was. Now, with surplus labor lying dormant and factories operating at 70% capacity we can see the system collapse as the plutocrats run for the lifeboats while we are left to sink.

    • weilunion says:
“it is always good to ‘see’…how people arrive at their assumptions; how they examine…how they look at other points of view…how people begin to understand…critical thinking about their own thinking and how they derive their conclusions and understandings of the world…
…he was explaining the process of his thinking….”

I very much liked hearing that from Morano also.
I find value in that type of “explaining the process of his thinking”.

  2. Oh, it is human all right. It is the blow back of civilization and we occupy a small segment.

You can go back to Sparta and Persia to see how the game was played then.

Without history one would come to think that it is some type of malady or monster from hell when it in fact is the product of centuries of class dominance, privatized technological development that has far exceeded human relations.

That a man like Elon Musk has the power to affect the lives of billions while he is in his bath robe is a testimony to where we are at.

A South African controlling major communications in the US at taxpayer expense.

All part of the Society of the Spectacle.

Reminds me of Rome, 395 when Honorius became sole emperor over the west he was ten years of age; he ruled for twenty-eight years until 423.

We got Trump not a child but it is the same thing.

But what we really got are literally somnambulists ambling along broken sidewalks spewing and pointing their fingers in the air , much like Sysiphus, but a bit more deranged.

Menticide. The killing of the mind.

  3. James, Wonderful interview with Marc. Bought his book on the spot… I have “normie” relatives and this type of book is something they might be influenced by. You continue present people and ideas that help the alternative cause for freedom, and rational thought. Thanks for that! Buz

  4. A very enjoyable interview James.
It was great to see Marc connect all of the dots you have been hard at work connecting for years now.

I was surprised that a search for Michael Walsh yielded no results on your search engine.
Now might be a good time to invite him as an interview guest.

His recent book ‘Against the Great Reset’ by Bombardier Books (Oct. 18, 2022)
would be right up your alley.

It’s a collection of essays by 18 eminent writers.

Here he is being interviewed by Sky News Australia.

  5. Around the 23:30 mark James mentions that those who new the climate change agenda was a hoax probably more easily saw through the Covid hoax. I’ve noticed this. For example, Tony Heller who was mostly discussing the climate change hoax has been reposting videos about how fraudulent the Covid hoax was. I’m sure there are others like that in my news feed, but he comes to mind.

  6. Marc’s going to be bummed when he realizes Jimmy Dore is still all in on climate change. I’ve left paid comments (so he’d hear them) that he should watch the “How… and Why Big Oil…” docs and have you on his show. We’re all on a journey, though, and it’s been cool to see Jimmy do his wake-up walk. Everybody goes at a different pace. I’m sure he’ll wake up to the whole anthropomorphic climate change scam at some point. It was awesome to hear about Marc’s journey, too. Your interviews with him are always great. Thanks!

    • Jimmy Dore

I didn’t know that about Jimmy Dore.
      Thanks rhiannaw,
      …and thanks very much for…
“left paid comments (so he’d hear them) that he should watch the “How… and Why Big Oil…” docs and have you on his show.”

      Great activism!
