Interview 1106 – The BFP Roundtable Discusses What We Can Do

by | Nov 5, 2015 | Interviews | 30 comments

On this very important edition of the BFP Roundtable, Sibel, Peter and James discuss the Hastert plea deal, the public’s lack of response to the story, and the feedback from our last conversation. Sibel and James each propose an idea of what we should do now and Peter plays judge, but you are the jury. Please leave your own responses in the comments below.

BFP Roundtable Exposes Pedophile Politicians and Public Apathy

The People’s Campaign: The Real Hastert Case – All in One Place

  1. Thanks for the tip, Al Saleh. I will check out OpenAtrium as you suggest.

  2. Dear All:
I enjoyed your discussion and wanted to add my thoughts. I went through a painfull paradigm shift about 5 years ago, and feel that I now have a reasonable understanding of the current situation on Earth.
    1. People are born good natured.
    2. Nearly all, if not all ways of being are learned including pyscopathy.
    3. The main causal factor affecting man’s ability to adhere to natural law, honor one’s self, and all others, is the economic system, and its use for control, especially life specific commodities such as food, and energy.
    4. The current power structure aggressively utilizes many avenues to condition others away from self understanding, and the true human nature of love and respect.
    Solutions for change.
    A. This must start at the individual level, with conscious choice, and is expressed as leading by example.
    B. My approach is to slay the dragon by starving it to death, or as James suggests “starting a new table at the party” I do this by minimizing, or eliminating my support for products and services that are counter to peace and humanity, and supporting products and services that support peace and humanity, such as not watching “public”, main stream media, consuming organic food, utilizing and encouraging alternative energy (free energy), and supporting organizations such as Michael Tellenger’s Ubuntu in South Africa. If we, as a general public could eliminate our demand for at profit energy, the social paradigm shift towards humanity would be extreme.
To summarize: Starve the dragon. Guide my personal life choices towards peace and humanity. Encourage mass individual dissemination of buried free energy knowledge. The knowlege is available, and has been for more than 50 years. If it was distributed widely, ananomously, and freely throughout the world, it could not be suppressed.

  3. Dear Lushy: You may also want to check out Gerald Celente at trendsresearch.com.

  4. I wish you all the best if you take this course of conglomerating – I would definitely support it, including via money. When I first became interested in alternative news I found it quite a long and difficult task to find valuable outlets – a ‘front page’ would’ve been very helpful.

My experience would suggest that one big hurdle you’ll need to plan for is how contributors can continue to maintain (and increase) their income from the new setup. Sorry to just mention money, but whether you want to destroy, change and/or replace our current economic system, you’ll need to materially survive in it whilst you do.

Another element I’d like to mention is that I think it would serve you best to cast a pretty wide net of contributors e.g. Consortium News.

-WhoWhatWhy.org is looking for people. Maybe they would be an interesting site to partner with. They also are 100% funded by donations (no ads).

    Their site shows:

HELP US FIND MORE GREAT WRITERS

Do you read someone who writes/blogs at a level comparable to what you expect from WhoWhatWhy? Please introduce us.
    ================================================================
-James, I think a podcast with your current opinion (and discuss your previous opinion) on Alex Jones would be very interesting. I know you started Corbett Report based on trying to disprove what you heard on his show. Look what has spawned from that! I think there’s a chance AJ is on to something when he talks about “breaking through the conditioning”. He yells a lot (and I have to admit he can be hard to listen to) but he got you to start doing research. And he always regularly says that his mission being to find other people out there to start taking action and create their own site. He also regularly admits he isn’t the smartest one out there but that he knows there are people a lot smarter than him.

It worked on you. Think about that.

    ================================================================
-Instead of (or maybe ‘in addition to”) Sibel, James, Peter, etc creating a one-stop shop website, how about challenging individuals w/ good web design skills to create their own versions of a “gazette” that includes links, videos, etc of your work. That way there can be multiple presentations of all of your stuff out there.

I bet there are also teens out there who are bored and like design who would probably work on the design part for free. Maybe assemble content and then have a contest where a bunch of talented unproven designers arrange it the best they can and a winner is voted on. There doesn’t have to be a monetary prize (or maybe a $50 gift certificate). It would allow these people to build up a portfolio though. Plus possibly you can hire these people for the consortium type site Sibel describes.

It would be cool to leverage talent this way too.
    ================================================================
-I’ve suggested this before but I think “Corbett Report Cliff’s Notes” on each episode (not on stuff like a roundtable but on stuff like the Alan Dulles and Dennis Hastert videos) would be a great idea. People are busy and stressed these days (probably in large part due to the global recession/depression, which I think a good argument that can be made is planned by TPTB – e.g. Cloward/Piven strategy). Maybe just give them an outline so they can get the idea of what you’re saying.

Some thoughts of how this could work would be:

    1) A short video (3-5 mins) w/ some bullet point items. Sort of a “video table of contents”.

    2) Instead of a separate video maybe at the beginning of the episode lay out what you’ll be talking about in the video the person is about to watch. Sort of like a lawyer’s opening arguments

    3) Even bullet point written items would still be helpful.

Take a look at what Peter Schiff does on his podcast:

    http://www.schiffradio.com/yellen-almost-admits-economy-too-weak-to-raise-rates-ep-96/
    ================================================================
-How about funding one “breakthrough concept” like ae911truth.org. While stuff like the Hastert story should be outrageous enough to wake people up, the average person doesn’t even know who Hastert is. Even potential candidates for the “irate minority” might not know who Hastert is.

Everyone knows 9/11 though. If we could make a real push to try to wake up people on 9/11 that would be a topic that I think there would be “no going back” from (eyes would have to stay awake). Initially people probably wouldn’t buy it even if they saw the strongest evidence but I’ve heard people need to hear something 3x before they can really consider it. Also, if the “media campaign” (and I don’t mean MSM) were strong enough (e.g. regular loud protests in NYC), it could be a topic of conversation for people (“look at those 9/11 crazies”). The idea that it could be “safely” brought up in conversation maybe it would be easier for people to say “have you watched what they’re talking about” and then maybe it goes from there.

Maybe at that point, they’d be ready to hear about stories like the Hastert story.

Also, I was think that writing “ae911truth.org” (or make some shorter/catchy name that would link to their main documentary) on paper money would be an interesting way to spread this info (and cheaply) but unfortunately it’s illegal and I’m not sure of the penalty.
    ================================================================
-Sibel mentioned this type of work might be reaching 50K people at the maximum. Can we think of creative ways to use that irate minority if, in the ideal scenario, they were all willing to take some action?

It was mentioned in this episode to try to convince people we know in real life. I see problems with that as there might be someone who understands the issues but doesn’t know a lot of people who are inclined to hearing about them. For example, James, how have you done w/ this when talking to friends/family? You created CorbettReport and now thousands and thousands of strangers are following your work.

I think we have to try to convince both people we know as well as those we don’t know. One idea I’ve had for a while is to scour the comment section on YouTube for people who show that they seem to really care about an issue (regardless of what their opinion is). I was thinking we could use some of the 50K people to find topics (e.g. “9/11, GMOs, financial collapse, etc”) and then get links of commenters who seem interested. Then we have another group of people who send messages to these people (maybe links/videos of content from CorbettReport, BFP, etc. And ideally somewhat personalized to them, which is more difficult but I think it makes a difference).

In YouTube you can send messages by clicking the link to the person’s name. That brings you to their profile page. Then you click “about” then click button “send message”. Side note: I think you have to be logged in while doing that in order to see the “send message button”.

  6. Great Roundtable you three!!! I’ll keep this short. I support this idea 100%
    Let’s do it!!!
    Dennis

  7. Al Saleh. Is that aggregator something you built? Or is there some sort of public domain type thing that would allow me to create what you did and post my own comments about the content?

  8. Hi James.
I sent you a private message from the contact form about this.
    I hope you read it.
    Robin

  9. how about crowdfunding for translating/subtitling the programs into many languages?

  10. While listening to this I am reminded of how I feel about bring my own message to people. I want more people to awaken to some of the realities of the world, but am limited to those who I come into close contact with. I would like to do a podcast, BUT, I lack time, money, expertise.

I also listen to Jack Blood. He could use some help bringing his show to his followers while paying his rent.

I love the fact that James was able to eventually give up his day job and do this full time. Corbett Report was the first time I had paid to become a member, or donated. I always suspect that donations are for fools who may buy products from infowars.com.

In other words, if it is possible to help others get involved while still allowing everyone to be themselves and never sell out, then I am all for it.

  11. I also think that video of the guy who teaches “urban farming” is a great solution. Didn’t one of the elites say “you control a population with food”. And I read that in the 1929 depression at least we lived in an agrarian society and people knew how to farm so they didn’t starve. It’s honestly probably one of the most important things we could do.

    • I agree. Learning how to become independent ourselves is the first step before we can even think about helping others, and knowing how to grow your own food is at the heart of that. I wonder, were you talking about Curtis Stone? I’ve been studying Permaculture (got my PDC at the beginning of the year) for two years now and see it as essential to becoming truly independent of the system. Maybe you also know Jack Spirko of the Survival Podcast: a permaculturist and (well, all permaculturists should be anarchists) an anarchist?

      • The guy I was referring to is Ron Finley. Below is a TED talk he gave with subject “Ron Finley: A guerilla gardener in South Central LA” (URL below). I will check out Curtis Stone and Jack Spirko as well though. Thank you very much for those recommendations.

It was also recommended to me to buy “The Encyclopedia of Country Living” by Carla Emery. I own the book but haven’t read it yet. I deserve criticism for not yet reading it. I’ve heard people say that you should try this stuff while the pressure isn’t on yet that way you’ll be ready when it actually is.

Ann Barnhardt (who I disagree w/ on some stuff but still find positives w/ a lot of what she says) says that the worst people are those who understand what is going on and yet STILL don’t take action. I have had her voice in my head about that. I have definitely taken more steps than a lot of people but nowhere near enough as I should given what I believe in.

  12. Just wanted to say that although I am quite happy following both the BFP and this site, I welcome Sibel’s idea and will definitely be helping out financially. You guys are great and I will support you.

One other thing; if this new website does come to be, and you do videos (as I assume you will), can you please make them downloadable? I virtually exclusively listen to and watch all of your media in public transport whilst going to and from work, so being able to download all the files onto my iPhone/Kindle/iPad etc. is essential. The reason why I end up following more of what goes on on James’s site and less of what goes on on Sibel’s is quite simple: I can download his movies, but not hers. Also bear in mind that being able to download is the first step to sharing them with others…

All the best and thanks for all the hard work.

  13. i feel it’s great as it is. there is enough overlap.
Bigger is not always better. A bigger site can be brought down and then the damage can be devastating. I think it’s better to spread the risk. Also more attention for internet alternatives, as this will be a big issue in near future.

Also i will plug the Noagendashow.com in here, it’s fun and was not mentioned yet 😉
    Greetings
    (it takes just 1 more monkey… )

  14. RE: Your idea James – doing something in the real world

You already ARE doing something in the real world.

To expose, promote and discuss the ideas and events that you do on your website is a very substantial contribution to an alternative society.

    Ideas change humanity’s direction.

Stop reading now if you want…this is the long version…

With unlimited resources I would love to establish a zero interest bank; form a political party with the simple aims of removing any link between private capital and the political system, and removing the banks’ ability to create money; create a news organisation that just reported statistics, trends and non-opinionated truth; a scientific research facility that focused solely on tech designed to put energy, water and food production and the most local level; etc etc

With my current resources I have simply focused what I CAN do in my sphere of influence (which I won’t go into as, after having written and deleted it, it just comes across as masturbation).

My point is James, you really are already contributing to the real world, directly, in the way your situation best dictates. I do not think that any different kind of direct action would somehow be more valid than what you’re already doing.

    • That is exactly what I was thinking except that I would include Sibel and Peter. Although, not always on the same page, certainly fighting the same fight.

  15. Forgive me if I repeat what somebody already wrote. (I haven’t read the other comments.) What to do? You keep doing what we all have been doing. The host teach us what we don’t know. We the listeners learn what we didn’t and we expand our consciousness of the corruption, why something like government isn’t work (or for alot of us will never work). This information is spreading like you wouldn’t believe. I meet people every day that has a better understanding of what is going on than say ten years ago or five years. A story like this puts another layer how these politicians are corrupt and how the courts only selectively go after or don’t certain people, (JUSTICE IN THE USA COURTS ARE NOT BLIND). This is making a huge change in the world. Just because we can’t see something instantly doesn’t mean that things are not shifting. As for harming somebody and getting away with it, it never happens. We always have to deal with the consequences of our actions. We may not get to visually see or audibly hear about the consequences of these criminals like Haster that you covered, but they will have to deal with what they have done. Nobody gets away with anything in our world.

I want to thank James for allowing me in my state of financial poverty to be allowed to support him with less than a dollar a month in the past. I have had to live off savings and assistance for the past few years. I could contribute to his work where others do not allow me to do this. I would encourage others who do this work to look at his model of bringing in financial help to support him. Twenty-five years ago people did this type of work to share the info just to educate others. To have people listen and learn the info was the reward of those sharing. Now it is donations, pay walls. James just started sharing the information because he knew it was important to share. Eventually people supported him not to get something more but because they knew the value of what he brought fourth and wanted to give back. Now he has been able to leave his day job and make this is full time gig. I recently got work and have been able to give him a little more. I will be getting a job that pays more soon so I will be happy to give James a raise when that happens. If I wasn’t able to give him anything he would never cut me off. I’m sure there are many people who give 100 yens who could never give 5 or 6 USD a months. Those are 100 yens that he wouldn’t be getting if he set the donation bar higher.

My inspiration to write this was listening to “Interview 1107 – Pierre Desrochers Explains the Bet of the Century”. Sharing information like that is another a-Ha moment that has made me richer with information that helps me more clearly understand what is and what isn’t. That made more of a difference in my life than I would suspect any charity for victims of sexual assault ever would for those that have been victimized. You are an educator, you have done honed your skill well. I’m sure you could be great at aiding people who are victims of sexual assault, I assume that isn’t your forte. Let those who do that do what they do, continue you doing what you do. You are making a difference. All of you are.

  16. Media/Action/Transcendence

    OK; Count me IN!

Synergy and economy of scale, while minimizing duplication of effort. Coalition of the informed and engaged; to nurture more of the same.

I am resetting my course of action accordingly. Thanks you all. Very exciting and spirit lifting stuff!

    Cheers,

  17. As others have said, Corbett provides a valuable service now. I don’t see any reason to do something “else.” If he gets more money or more people helping him, I hope he’ll expand his coverage. Maybe he’ll also directly help some victims, that would be great.

I regret the time wasted downloading and watching the three videos. I wonder, where is We Are Change getting the $1 per thousand viewers which they plan to donate, and what will happen if the number of viewers doesn’t exhaust the money available? Who is Baby Olivia and why should I help her rather than thousands of kids, a lot closer to where I live, who need medical care? And what is Press for Truth accomplishing with their video?

What we need is good, honest, ambitious journalism. Here’s one example of action that can result: For years, a few bloggers, podcasters, and other journalists have been reporting case after case of police lying to cover up abuses and convict innocents. Just a couple weeks ago, I read that prosecutors in the county where I live complain that juries are no longer persuaded by police testimony. That is progress.

And by the way, I do listen to BFP’s free episodes when linked from Corbett. They’re good. I appreciate the work Sibel does. And everybody does need to earn a living (unless they can steal one). But I prefer to share my limited resources with a true open-source project.

  18. I also agree that bigger is not necessarily better. The idea of becoming like your foe to defeat him just sounds like the wrong approach. Going toe-to-toe against an entity that has almost unlimited resource while we are lacking doesn’t sound very wise. We can do better with our energy and resources.

What we need to do is understand leviathan’s weaknesses and strengths while we do likewise with ourselves. Only then could we take action accordingly and use opportunity to our advantage.

It is positive that we are all irate and frustrated since that leads to action, but I hope we’re not thinking about using this presently corrupted paradigm hoping for change. That’s not going to happen. The system has a huge lead on us and it took them (the banksters) roughly 100 covert years (or 150 odd years since the American Civil War) to get to our current condition. They have been very patient in their quest. We may have to be the same in undoing what they’ve done, unless we’re looking at taking up arms and revolt.

My questions: what are we looking to do once we wake up the masses? Are we hoping to incite change using the current system? Or are we expecting revolution? Third option, a better strategy is to withdraw consent from the current paradigm. Starve out the dragon like someone had mentioned in one of these posts. I’m with James in the thinking that we should start a new “table” then switch over, leaving the old paradigm of death and debt.

I believe the focus should be:
    1. Wake up humanity
    2. Get everyone to withdraw consent
    3. Switch away from the current death and debt paradigm

  19. One way to test the integrity of an honest banking system (one with no fractional reserve) would be for people to all withdraw their money on the same day. Obviously banks wouldn’t be able to handle that and would be exposed for the fraud it is. Of course, if a large enough number of people chose a day to withdraw all our money, the smart ones would withdraw prior to that day because they’d know it would cause a “bank holiday” (what flowery language!)

But we can individually take our money out of the banking system and move it elsewhere (under the mattress? credit unions? precious metals stored outside the banking system)? The same can be done w/ cable TV. I guess we’d likely need the internet (or force ourselves to use “pirate internet”) to follow CorbettReport, BFP, etc. We can also start our own gardens to teach self-sustenance and avoid factory farming. Also, we can become preppers to at least some degree (e.g. buy storable food, a strong water filter, etc).

We can absolutely try to wake our friends/neighbors up. One way that could be done would be a “free event” where you teach people how to “guerrilla garden” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzZzZ_qpZ4w). People might be grateful to get free knowledge of how to garden and then groups can be formed. Over time, more info can be shared (e.g. “are you aware of what is going on in the economy?”) If you help someone w/ free guerrilla gardening advice (thus growing free food to help them on their food bill), it’s likely they’d be willing to hear other things you have to say. We can probably get in touch w/ our most local neighborhood representative to help spread the word. Or maybe avoiding representatives is the best move to not get into “entangling alliances”.

  20. I have been considering this response for several days now. What we can do on a practical basis A) to help the victims and B) to expose and end the pedophilia of the powers that shouldn’t be?

As for A) Helping the victims: I really don’t know what to do as far as specifics. Sibel is correct that especially large charitable institutions usually eventually become inefficient or even corrupt bureaucracies. The courts are worthless and even part of the problem. But lawyers psychologists, social workers etc are all needed. I care deeply about this having personally witnessed the devastation in the lives of the victims caused by Institutional Pedophilia.

In the 1960’s 3 of my younger brothers were molested by a pedophile ring in Oregon that included several town county and state government officials, the police, the prosecutors office, judges, and the Catholic Church including parish priests, the Bishop of Portland, and even lay members of the parish council and the Knights of Columbus. When my father discovered what occurred he filed criminal charges. He also learned that this was an open secret – these monsters had preyed on the children of that community openly for more than 20 years and the local farmers and townspeople were intimidated into accepting that their children would be sacrificed to the lusts of those men of power and position! No attempt to prosecute these men was ever successful – even when a 1 year old baby boy died after being sodomized. The trauma of those events have scared the lives of my brothers to this day.

People simply do not believe – or want to believe – that this kind of sickness is pervasive and institutional. Which leads to B) Expose and end the pedophilia of the powers that shouldn’t be.

I have seen numerous reports on the Internet concerning this issue. It seems the aggregation solution may be best. Perhaps a new site to umbrella all the reporting and any existing or new help resources in one place.

I am sure that there are already lawyers, social workers, and charities all around the world trying to help the victims and expose the perpetrators. A central clearing house for those reporting and/or wanting to help the victims. One umbrella web site to End Institutional Pedophilia. It would not be a small task to vet the reports and maintain credibility.

If victims could see that this is not actually unusual, they are not alone, and see links to existing resources – lawyers, social workers, psychologists, and various charities world wide they could reach out for help and perhaps people would begin believing the problem is as pervasive as it actually is.

It also has the advantage of minimizing the centralized administrative role to vetting the reporting and local help resources, maintaining the database and the website. It would distribute the actual “boots on the ground” workload to local grass roots people and organizations and may inspire more local resources to step forward.

I think it is a bad idea to try to build a new megalithic worldwide organization to deal with this. But to build a smaller organization that simply vets and directs people to the information and help resources could be manageable and feasible. These are my initial thoughts.

I also want to mention, James, that the work you, Sibel, and Peter are already doing is incredibly valuable. You are already contributing to the solution. You should not be diverted from your successful and credible efforts to a entirely new venture. But you can lead and help direct the creation of this new more focused effort. It is up to all of us to step forward and make this happen.

PS Ben Swann may be a good person to get involved in this effort. Like you he enjoys a lot of credibility to the mainstream.

  21. About your idea James, I think it is not “necessary”. Of course there are millions of people in need because of this rotten system. You are already helping them fighting this rotten system in the most important battle we anarchists must fight today. Battle for hearts and minds. Your work is invaluable. When very occasionally a lost soul asks something like : How can I find a way in this internet mess, cacophony? Try this one. I’ve never ever been disappointed.

The consortium idea doesn’t sound good to me. Especially the way Sibel describe it. Something like huge leap forward. It’s possible you won’t be able to raise enough funds (especially on the long run), which could lead to some disappointment from you and your audiences something no one needs. This also means finding associates and management of team. Since you said that you have quite different audiences this could end up in competing for resources.

I’m not sure, but I think there is also something that Sibel is assuming: That having a Truth and better production will make a difference. I don’t think so. In this world where Everything is possible but nothing is Real, Truth with a nice dress won’t make a difference. Truth is not the only ingredient in the awakening pill.

Instead of consortium I believe it would be better to start with projects, one by one, that are founded from crowd-sourcing (not from me unfortunatelly). It is less demanding in all ways. And I guess Hasterd’s case is just fine. But maybe do it in different way. Completely. Satire. Yes I know, sounds disgusting and….(can’t find a proper words in English).

    Maybe there is a solution.
Working title: Achievements of our politicians: Sex.
Narrator: “Our politicians work hard. Miners, they don’t know what work is. Our politicians are so special, their sex must be special too.” Starting with some “funny” like Piggate (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w230hyek5Bc, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEUD_mMos28). Bill Clinton could be used as a turning point when blow jobs turns to rape (drama). Narrator: “But this is not something serious because if it was they would tell you. ” Continuing with Hastert. (videos will be submitted by FBI or NSA, they have it, they just must find it. They just have soooo much stuff, maybe Snowjob’s picture in the background) . Narrator: “Hasterd never had any comments in public regarding the allegations. What did you expect? Who is talking about his sex in public? ( on screen: Hastert’s picture + Pedophile !!!) ” and ending: This is true, not hole true because there is more and will be continued unless You do something about it. Or alternative end: “In this presentation you saw that our politicians sex imagination is limitless and approved by their puppet masters and there is only one thing we haven’t told you yet: They are also fucking you every single day of your life. Or is it rape? We will tell you: I you feel Angry and do something Smart: Then it’s rape.” Duration: less then 15 min.

I would also like to join @graviv proposal regarding translating but especially transcribing. Internationalisation, we all are more or less in the same shit. If you have transcription translation effort becomes much much easier. I know James that you talked about this many times but since we are discussing the idea of becoming bigger, transcribing could help a lot. Maybe community can help. English language is de facto esperanto today, but there is quite a lot out there too and translation and subtitling in bigger languages could bring a lot.

P.S. Just something about Alex Jones-The Angry. To add to @Algorithm of Consciousness commentary – I also find him dangerous. Not on one occasion he was shouting at people to rise up. Revolution? Herding sheep for slaughter? Robo-cups are just waiting this to happen. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that he is getting paid from somewhere else too.

    • I found there is inconsequence in my commentary and would add the following, which should be placed after third paragraph.

But nice dress can attract bigger audience. People are used to watch hyper-produced Hollywood style crap and can be averted and distracted with under averaged production. So I have to revise what I’ve been said. Nice dress can make some difference but still I think is not worth considering the risk of consortium.

  22. Hi James,

I came across a quote by Frederic Bestiat that may help the panel to understand: “When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves, in the course of time, a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.

For the full article you can find it at http://kingworldnews.com/the-seeds-for-the-next-global-crisis-are-already-being-sewn/

Thanks to you and the panel!

  23. I would like to thank Sibel for expressing her concerns regarding the concept of anarchy. I have felt this way for years and have grown tired of hearing questions like:

Why wouldn’t you want to live in a free society?
    Or
Why would you volunteer to wear the yoke of government?

I can’t see how true anarchy would be successful without a majority of the population having the following traits:
    1) Intelligent – must be able to think for themselves
    2) Observant – avoid being blinded by propaganda or herd like thinking
    3) Courageous – standing up for what is right, having the willingness to fight the good fight
    4) Confident without being arrogant
    5) Compassionate – having a genuine concern for others especially for those who can’t fight for themselves i.e. children or animals.
    6) Persistent – roadblocks will present themselves, it may take time to work around them.
    7) Integrity – do the right thing even when no one else is looking.

From my perspective, a majority of our society only seem to have a handful of these traits – some don’t appear to have any of them.

I would further agree that the founders of this country were right about so many things. Had we paid closer attraction to their teachings perhaps we would be living in a completely different type of world.

    One last thought…

If you haven’t seen the musical, “Wicked” please do so:

The parallels between this story line and our present society are uncanny.

  24. Yes; all good stuff.

But there ALSO NEEDS to be energy invested in directly confronting and dis-empowering the politicians, the military and police who are effectively rolling out the police state that could stomp out our good works with their Jack Boots if left to run ammok.

I KNOW there is a significant percentage of these types who are not “True Believers”, but rather are “going along to get along” with this dastardly deployment of demise.

They have not yet had the truth of the situation communicated to them in an effective manner and this needs attention. I volunteer for this and welcome any and all positive and constructive input. I have been effective in this realm on a small scale; but this idea of a “force multiplier” for our media efforts needs to also be applied to the sphere of police/military/elected official confrontation and coersion.

Yes, let’s plant a new garden. But to do so without pulling the weeds and turning the soil first is folly; me thinks.

    Cheers,
