just to add a a small bit of input to the “NSA-Based Backdoor” story, I came across this info while looking into new HD for computer.

if you read the link below about Mr Luczo in “Early Life” & “Early Career” you will see he got his start with “Mayor Dianne Feinstein” (who we all know well), amazingly went from a BA in Economics, & major in Psychology to heading a high tech firm without really the slightest education in technology. I kinda liken this to your local car mechanic deciding maybe a career in brain surgery might be more interesting then cars. But in the NWO group (for lack a of better general desription of these people)this is all to common! I reference the Bill Gates story. So clearly Steve is a guy that plays ball with these people.

Anyways, now we know who his bosses are & where he gets his general marching orders from it no surprise that code would be in a hard drive to allow the NSA/CIA into computer system. I think its no accident or hack it’s in there.

As a again, a slightly related info
Listen to the Seagate Technology – Strategic Update series on youtube below and listen close to what they have to say about “data lakes”, “tape backups in storage vaults in the mountains”, “retails companies wanting to identify customers as they walk in parking lots from there cell phone data. etc etc” the latter clearly showing even retailers are prying into your cell phone” (Jamie Lerner’s presentation).
I really question who their biggest customer is and why they need so much storage capacity.

I was a hardware/software engineer. Firmware is used by companies like Sony to privatize their chips so they will not operate on certain hardware or along side any software they don’t want to support, financially. The firmware can be programmed with hidden information that is inaccessible without firmware decoding equipment, usually found in a computer test lab.

I spent several days trying to convince a group of software/hardware engineers, who were attempting to make a software program operate for a client, that the chip would not support the system. Albeit, they were brilliant at proving the chip’s failure. The engineers, literally, would not believe that the chip was privatized and would support only what it wanted to support. They fully believed I was nuts, however. Eventually, after days of pounding they were forced to call Sony and find out the truth several phone hours later. Sony “admitted” (they didn’t want to) that the chip would not operate with the software and operating system chosen and they had no driver as a work-around–even though the software and hardware was pretty ordinary stuff.

Consequently, from my experience, problems related to detecting secret firmware lies in the minds of engineers who often refuse to acknowledge the simple and well known practices executed by huge companies, that is if you are paying attention. That the NSA firmware code was not found until now is not surprising to me because the chip worked.
