San Francisco Bay area architect Richard Gage, AIA, the founding member of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, spoke to The Corbett Report in an interview this week about the current understanding of how thermate may have been used to bring down the twin towers and WTC7. Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth is an organization Mr. Gage set up after hearing an interview with David Ray Griffin on local radio. "Bonnie Faulkner was interviewing him and I heard things that made sense to me intuitively," said Mr. Gage. "Initially I was so shocked I had to pull over on the street and just listen. I really couldn't believe what I was hearing." This was the impetus for Gage to start researching the collapses on 9/11. "I determined that I had to get the word out, so I started Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, modelled on 911truth.org." The organization now includes 140 architects and engineers who question the official story of fire-induced collapse. In the interview, Richard Gage stresses the importance of Dr. Steven Jones'recent findings of thermate in samples recovered from Ground Zero after the attacks. This evidence is consistent with multiple sources showing pools of molten steel at the Ground Zero site as much as eight weeks after the collapse. During his discussion with The Corbett Report, Mr. Gage points out the key evidence for controlled demolition of the buildings, including the freefall speed of the collapses, the symmetry of the WTC7 collapse and the pulverization of the contents of WTC1 and WTC2. "At the base of the twin towers, you don't see a pile of 110 floors," he said. "You don't see a pile of 50 floors of four inch thick concrete each and their floor trusses and the steel decking. You don't see one floor. It is all gone, disappeared, exploded." Richard Gage, AIA, will be taking his presentation on the collapses to various cities around the USA in the coming months, including a speaking engagement at Webster Hall in New York with We Are Change on September 9 as part of the week of events leading up to the 9/11/07 Global Day of Action. |
