BILL GATES: Hello. I’m Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft. In this video you’re going to see the future.

SOURCE: Hello, I’m Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft

Who is Bill Gates? A software developer? A businessman? A philanthropist? A global health expert?

This question, once merely academic, is becoming a very real question for those who are beginning to realize that Gates’ unimaginable wealth has been used to gain control over every corner of the fields of public health, medical research and vaccine development. And now that we are presented with the very problem that Gates has been talking about for years, we will soon find that this software developer with no medical training is going to leverage that wealth into control over the fates of billions of people.

GATES: [. . .] because until we get almost everybody vaccinated globally, we still won’t be fully back to normal.

Bill Gates is no public health expert. He is not a doctor, an epidemiologist or an infectious disease researcher. Yet somehow he has become a central figure in the lives of billions of people, presuming to dictate the medical actions that will be required for the world to go “back to normal.” The transformation of Bill Gates from computer kingpin to global health czar is as remarkable as it is instructive, and it tells us a great deal about where we are heading as the world plunges into a crisis the likes of which we have not seen before.

This is the story of How Bill Gates Monopolized Global Health.

You’re tuned in to The Corbett Report.

Until his reinvention as a philanthropist in the past decade, this is what many people thought of when they thought of Bill Gates:

NARRATOR: In the case of the United States vs Microsoft, the US Justice Department contended that the software giant had breached antitrust laws by competing unfairly against Netscape Communications in the internet browser market, effectively creating a monopoly. Bill’s first concern was that the prosecution could potentially block the release of his company’s latest operating system, Windows 98.

GATES: Are you asking me about when I wrote this e-mail or what are you asking me about?

DAVID BOIES: I’m asking you about January of ’96.

GATES: That month?

BOIES: Yes, sir.

GATES: And what about it?

BOIES: What non-Microsoft browsers were you concerned about in January of 96?

GATES: I don’t know what you mean: “concerned.”

BOIES: What is it about the word “concerned” that you don’t understand?

GATES: I’m not sure what you mean by it.

STEVE JOBS: We’re going to be working together on Microsoft Office, on Internet Explorer, on Java, and I think that it’s going to lead to a very healthy relationship. So it’s a package announcement today. We’re very, very happy about it, we’re very, very excited about it. And I happen to have a special guest with me today via satellite downlink, and if we could get him up on the stage right now.

DAN RATHER: Police and security guards in Belgium were caught flat-footed today by a cowardly sneak attack on one of the world’s wealthiest men. The target was Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, arriving for a meeting with community leaders. Watch what happens when a team of hit men meet him first with a pie in the face.

[GATES HIT IN THE FACE WITH PIE]

RATHER: Gates was momentarily and understandably shaken, but he was not injured. The hit squad piled on with two more pies before one of them was wrestled to the ground and arrested; the others—at least for the moment—got away. Gates went inside, wiped his face clean, and made no comment. He then went ahead with his scheduled meeting. No word on the motive for this attack.

But, once reviled for the massive wealth and the monopolistic power that his virus-laden software afforded him, Gates is now hailed as a visionary who is leveraging that wealth and power for the greater good of humanity.

KLAUS SCHWAB: If in the 22nd century a book will be written about the entrepreneur of the 21st century [. . .] I’m sure that the person who will foremost come to the mind of those historians is certainly Bill Gates. [applause]

ANDREW ROSS SORKIN: I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that Bill Gates is singularly—I would argue—the most consequential individual of our generation. I mean that.

The process by which this reinvention of Gates’ public image took place is not mysterious. It’s the same process by which every billionaire has revived their public image since John D. Rockefeller hired Ivy Ledbetter Lee to transform him from the head of the Standard Oil hydra into the kind old man handing out dimes to strangers.

MAN OFF CAMERA: Don’t you give dimes, Mr. Rockefeller? Please, go ahead.

WOMAN: Thank you, sir.

MAN: Thank you very much.

ROCKEFELLER: Thank you for the ride!

MAN: I consider myself more than amply paid.

ROCKEFELLER: Bless you! Bless you! Bless you!

SOURCE: John D. Rockefeller – Standard Oil

More to the point, John D. Rockefeller knew that to gain the adoration of the public, he had to appear to give them what they want: money. He devoted hundreds of millions of dollars of his vast oil monopoly fortune to establishing institutions that, he claimed, were for the public good. The General Education Board. The Rockefeller Institute of Medical Research. The Rockefeller Foundation.

Similarly, Bill Gates has spent much of the past two decades transforming himself from software magnate into a benefactor of humanity through his own Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In fact, Gates has surpassed Rockefeller’s legacy with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation long having eclipsed The Rockefeller Foundation as the largest private foundation in the world, with $46.8 billion of assets on its books that it wields in its stated program areas of global health and development, global growth, and global policy advocacy.

And, like Rockefeller, Gates’ transformation has been helped along by a well-funded public relations campaign. Gone are the theatrical tricks of the PR pioneers—the ubiquitous ice cream cones of Gates’ mentor Warren Buffett are the last remaining holdout of the old Rockefeller-handing-out-dimes gimmick. No, Gates has guided his public image into that of a modern-day saint through an even simpler tactic: buying good publicity.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation spends tens of millions of dollars per year on media partnerships, sponsoring coverage of its program areas across the board. Gates funds The Guardian‘s Global Development website. Gates funds NPR’s global health coverage. Gates funds the Our World in Data website that is tracking the latest statistics and research on the coronavirus pandemic. Gates funds BBC coverage of global health and development issues, both through its BBC Media Action organization and the BBC itself. Gates funds world health coverage on ABC News.

When the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer was given a $3.5 million Gates foundation grant to set up a special unit to report on global health issues, NewsHour communications chief Rob Flynn was asked about the potential conflict of interest that such a unit would have in reporting on issues that the Gates Foundation is itself involved in. “In some regards I guess you might say that there are not a heck of a lot of things you could touch in global health these days that would not have some kind of Gates tentacle,” Flynn responded.

Indeed, it would be almost impossible to find any area of global health that has been left untouched by the tentacles of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

It was Gates who sponsored the meeting that led to the creation of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, a global public-private partnership bringing together state sponsors and big pharmaceutical companies, whose specific goals include the creation of “healthy markets for vaccines and other immunisation products.” As a founding partner of the alliance, the Gates Foundation provided $750 million in seed funding and has gone on to make over $4.1 billion in commitments to the group.

Gates provided the seed money that created the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, a public-private partnership that acts as a finance vehicle for governmental AIDS, TB, and malaria programs.

When a public-private partnership of governments, world health bodies and 13 leading pharmaceutical companies came together in 2012 “to accelerate progress toward eliminating or controlling 10 neglected tropical diseases,” there was the Gates Foundation with $363 million of support.

When the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents was launched in 2015 to leverage billions of dollars in public and private financing for global health and development programs, there was the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as a founding partner with a $275 million contribution.

When the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations was launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2017 to develop vaccines against emerging infectious diseases, there was the Gates Foundation with an initial injection of $100 million.

The examples go on and on. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s fingerprints can be seen on every major global health initiative of the past two decades. And beyond the flashy, billion-dollar global partnerships, the Foundation is behind hundreds of smaller country and region-specific grants—$10 million to combat a locust infestation in East Africa, or $300 million to support agricultural research in Africa and Asia—that add up to billions of dollars in commitments.

It comes as no surprise, then, that—far beyond the $250 million that the Gates Foundation has pledged to the “fight” against coronavirus—every aspect of the current coronavirus pandemic involves organizations, groups and individuals with direct ties to Gates funding.

From the start, the World Health Organization has directed the global response to the current pandemic. From its initial monitoring of the outbreak in Wuhan and its declaration in January that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission to its live media briefings and its technical guidance on country-level planning and other matters, the WHO has been the body setting the guidelines and recommendations shaping the global response to this outbreak.

But even the World Health Organization itself is largely reliant on funds from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The WHO’s most recent donor report shows that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is the organization’s second-largest donor behind the United States government. The Gates Foundation single-handedly contributes more to the world health body than Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Russia and the UK combined.

What’s more, current World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is, in fact, like Bill Gates himself, not a medical doctor at all, but the controversial ex-Minister of Health of Ethiopia, who was accused of covering up three cholera outbreaks in the country during his tenure. Before joining the WHO, he served as chair of the Gates-founded Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and sat on the board of the Gates-founded Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the Gates-funded Stop TB Partnership.

The current round of lockdowns and restrictive stay-home orders in western countries was enacted on the back of alarming models predicting millions of deaths in the United States and hundreds of thousands in the UK.

HAYLEY MINOGUE: Imperial College in London released a COVID-19 report and that’s where most of our US leaders are getting the information they’re basing their decision making on. That 2.2 million deaths also doesn’t account for the potential negative effects of health systems being overwhelmed.

[. . .]

The report runs us through a few different ways this could turn out depending on what our responses are. If we don’t do anything to control this virus, over 80% of people in the US would be infected over the course of the epidemic, with 2.2 million deaths from COVID-19.

The work of two research groups was crucial in shaping the decision of the UK and US governments to implement wide-ranging lockdowns, and, in turn, governments around the world. The first group, the Imperial College COVID-19 Research Team, issued a report on March 16th that predicted up to 500,000 deaths in the UK and 2.2 million deaths in the US unless strict government measures were put in place.

The second group, the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation in Bill Gates’ home state of Washington, helped provide data that corroborated the White House’s initial estimates of the virus’ effects, estimates that have been repeatedly downgraded as the situation has progressed.

Unsurprisingly, the Gates Foundation has injected substantial sums of money into both groups. This year alone, the Gates Foundation has already given $79 million to Imperial College, and in 2017 the Foundation announced a $279 million investment into the IHME to expand its work collecting health data and creating models.

Anthony Fauci, meanwhile, has become the face of the US government’s coronavirus response, echoing Bill Gates’ assertion that the country will not “get back to normal” until “a good vaccine” can be found to insure the public’s safety.

ANTHONY FAUCI: If you want to get to pre-coronavirus . . . You know, that might not ever happen, in the sense of the fact that the threat is there. But I believe with the therapies that will be coming online and with the fact that I feel confident that over a period of time we will get a good vaccine, that we will never have to get back to where we are right back now.

SOURCE: Dr. Anthony Fauci on return to normalcy from pandemic

Beyond just their frequent collaborations and cooperation in the past, Fauci has direct ties to Gates’ projects and funding. In 2010, he was appointed to the Leadership Council of the Gates-founded “Decade of Vaccines” project to implement a Global Vaccine Action Plan—a project to which Gates committed $10 billion of funding. And in October of last year, just as the current pandemic was beginning, the Gates Foundation announced a $100 million contribution to the National Institute of Health to help, among other programs, Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases’ research into HIV.

Also in October of last year, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation partnered with the World Economic Forum and the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security to stage Event 201, a tabletop exercise gauging the economic and societal impact of a globally-spreading coronavirus pandemic.

NARRATOR: It began in healthy-looking pigs months, perhaps years, ago: a new coronavirus.

ANITA CICERO: The mission of the pandemic emergency board is to provide recommendations to deal with the major global challenges arising in response to an unfolding pandemic. The board is comprised of highly experienced leaders from business public health and civil society.

TOM INGLESBY: We’re at the start of what’s looking like it will be a severe pandemic and there are problems emerging that can only be solved by global business and governments working together.

STEPHEN REDD: Governments need to be willing to do things that are out of their historical perspective, or . . .  for the most part. It’s really a war footing that we need to be on.

SOURCE: Event 201 Pandemic Exercise: Highlights Reel

Given the incredible reach that the tentacles of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have into every corner of the global health markets, it should not be surprising that the foundation has been intimately involved with every stage of the current pandemic crisis, either. In effect, Gates has merely used the wealth from his domination of the software market to leverage himself into a similar position in the world of global health.

The whole process has been cloaked in the mantle of selfless philanthropy, but the foundation is not structured as a charitable endeavour. Instead, it maintains a dual structure: the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation distributes money to grantees, but a separate entity, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Trust, manages the endowment assets. These two entities often have overlapping interests, and, as has been noted many times in the past, grants given by the foundation often directly benefit the value of the trust’s assets:

MELINDA GATES: One of my favorite parts of my job at the Gates Foundation is that I get to travel to the developing world, and I do that quite regularly.

[. . .]

My first trip in India, I was in a person’s home where they had dirt floors, no running water, no electricity, and that’s really what I see all over the world. So in short, I’m startled by all the things that they don’t have. But I am surprised by one thing that they do have: Coca-Cola. Coke is everywhere. In fact, when I travel to the developing world, Coke feels ubiquitous.

And so when I come back from these trips, and I’m thinking about development, and I’m flying home and I’m thinking, we’re trying to deliver condoms to people, or vaccinations, you know? Coke’s success kind of stops and makes you wonder: How is it that they can get Coke to these far-flung places? If they can do that, why can’t governments and NGOs do the same thing?

SOURCE: Melinda French Gates: What nonprofits can learn from Coca-Cola

AMY GOODMAN: And the charity of billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda is under criticism following the disclosure it’s substantially increased its holdings in the agribusiness giant Monsanto to over $23 million. Critics say the investment in Monsanto contradicts the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s stated commitment to helping farmers and sustainable development in Africa.

SOURCE: Gates Foundation Criticized for Increasing Monsanto Investment

LAURENCE LEE: The study from the pressure group Global Justice now paints a picture of the Gates Foundation partly as an expression of corporate America’s desire to profit from Africa and partly a damning critique of its effects.

POLLY JONES: You could have a case where the initial research is done by a Gates-funded institution. And the media reporting on how well that research is conducted is done, the media outlet is a Gates-funded outlet, or maybe a Gates-funded journalist from a media program. And then the program is implemented more widely by a Gates-funded NGO. I mean . . . There are some very insular circles here.

LEE: Among the many criticisms: the idea that private finance can solve the problems of the developing world. Should poor farmers be trapped into debt by having to use chemicals or fertilizers underwritten by offshoot of the foundation?

SOURCE: Gates Foundation accused of exploiting its leverage in Africa

This is no mere theoretical conflict of interest. Gates is held up as a hero for donating $35.8 billion worth of his Microsoft stock to the foundation, but during the course of his “Decade of Vaccines,” Gates’ net worth has actually doubled, from $54 billion to $103.1 billion.

The Rockefeller story provides an instructive template for this vision of tycoon-turned-philanthropist. When Rockefeller faced a public backlash, he helped spearhead the creation of a system of private foundations that connected in with his business interests. Leveraging his unprecedented oil monopoly fortune into unprecedented control over wide swaths of public life, Rockefeller was able to kill two birds with one stone: molding society in his family’s own interests, even as he became a beloved figure in the public imagination.

Similarly, Bill Gates has leveraged his software empire into a global health, development and education empire, steering the course of investment and research and ensuring healthy markets for vaccines and other immunization products. And, like Rockefeller, Gates has been transformed from the feared and reviled head of a formidable hydra into a kindly old man generously giving his wealth back to the public.

But not everyone has been taken in by this PR trick. Even The Lancet observed this worrying transformation from software monopolist to health monopolist back in 2009, when the extent of this Gates-led monopoly was becoming apparent to all:

The first guiding principle of the [Bill & Melinda Gates] Foundation is that it is “driven by the interests and passions of the Gates family.” An annual letter from Bill Gates summarises those passions, referring to newspaper articles, books, and chance events that have shaped the Foundation’s strategy. For such a large and influential investor in global health, is such a whimsical governance principle good enough?

SOURCE: What has the Gates Foundation done for global health?

This brings us back to the question: Who is Bill Gates? What are his driving interests? What motivates his decisions?

These are not academic questions. Gates’ decisions have controlled the flows of billions of dollars, formed international partnerships pursuing wide-ranging agendas, ensured the creation of “healthy markets” for Big Pharma vaccine manufacturers. And now, as we are seeing, his decisions are shaping the entire global response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Next week, we will further explore Gates’ vaccination initiatives, the business interests behind them, and the larger agenda that is beginning to take shape as we enter the “new normal” of the COVID-19 crisis.

  1. The Gatesway to hell is opening….

  2. Great work as always. These “self made” billionaires all seem so plastic and appointed. Read somewhere ages ago that Microsoft may well have been a secret wing of IBM (in order to dupe the anti-monopoly rules). Actually it was probably something on the Corbett Report that I read to be honest.

Can’t wait for Cocksuckerberg’s philanthropic adventures in the 1984 future

    • These new advocacy philanthropists are the new, ruthless face of socialized capitalist exploitation and thus they are neither philanthropists nor charitable givers – they are pickpockets, thieves and exploiters — they are the new, financial conquistadors. To attribute anything more is to mask the true reality of what they do and who they are. They are financial pirates and buccaneers who now profit-off human disposability in an age of surplus labor.

  3. Excellent work James as always.
Face paced and rich in detail.
As time was running out towards the end I was wondering when you would start to focus on our ‘pandemic’ and vaccines.

But then, just in the nick of time you gave a little preview of what
    will be coming shortly. 🙂

I am looking forward to it and also sharing your work with as many people as possible.

This has got to be not only the ‘Mother of All Conflicts of Interests’
but the scariest and most potentially harmful the human race has ever faced.

It should be painfully obvious to everyone that not only has Gates engineered this ‘pandemic’ but is seeking to profit from it by carrying out his personal goal of reducing the world’s population, further increasing his wealth by selling vaccines and helping to roll out the new world order.

    • bill seems too dim witted to have designed this, and he would have needed complicity from a lot of heads of state of business and bankers, which appear all in, but I doubt they are all mad hatters, I reckon there would be big blackmail going on for Trump to acquiesce to mini dr. evil. bill looks/sounds more like a straw-man when he speaks, his responses are more political than dynamic, he’s all white bread posture with nil content. He appears to be one who could represent but not on the fly dominate. thats my intuition speaking.

  5. Excellent research and writing, Mr. Corbett. I’m glad someone out here has the skills to really make us question so-called “philanthropy.” The word is creepy to me anyways, “anthropophile” might give it a more accurate connotation. These billionaires are mad scientists and children playing in a sandbox, honestly. Very sick. Thanks for the content, James. On point, as always.

  6. Superb video! Thank you very much! I found it to be very interesting and informative. And a pleasure to watch quality wise.

Can’t wait for the next episode.

  7. Jeremy,

I am sorry I do not get your point. You state that “James is going to have to present FACTS objectively”. I am afraid facts are facts and are by essence objective. So, what is your real problem with James?

Personally, I very much appreciate this piece on Bill Gates. The guy has to be exposed. I cannot wait to watch the second part.

There is just one point on which I beg to differ. We agree that Gates has an undue influence on global health policies thanks to his wealth. The fact that he does not have a degree in medicine or a related field does not appear relevant to me.

Our society has a tendency to worship “experts”. First of all, a degree is just a presumption of knowledge. Even experts can be wrong from time to time. And in addition, some of them are particularly corrupt.

There is also something very dangerous in this process of letting “specialists” make decisions by themselves. One day, very soon, we will be told that our votes are not needed anymore because the people are not “experts”.

    • I did not explain myself very well. What I wanted to say is that decisions cannot be made taking into account a unique factor and dismissing all the others. Experts see their field, but do not have a general knowledge of all the other fields that are going to be impacted.

    • Our society has a tendency to worship “experts”.

That’s exactly the point. The media will always invoke the expert fallacy but will immediately overlook it when a non expert (with a wallet that could cause tsunamis) chimes in. The lack of objectivity when applying logical fallacies is staggering.

      • Cultural aberration #24…

Our society has a tendency to worship “experts”.

  8. Great minds think alike – I made a similar comment on the New World Next Week post, but I mentioned “Mephistopheles” rather than Faust, because I was thinking of the 1981 film Mephisto, starring Klaus-Maria Brandauer, which has a Faustian theme. It’s based in Nazi Germany, about a man who sells out to the Nazis in order to further his career.

I haven’t seen the film since 1981, when I was a student, but it seems relevant today, as I think Bill Gates is not the only tech billionaire who may have had a leg up from some shady players – on condition that he plays their game. Might make a good theme for Film, Literature and the New World Order.

  9. I’m a huge fan of Steve Jobs, because I’ve used Apple Macs since the early 1990s. Apple Mac seemed to go downhill just around the time that Jobs died. Though I never met him, and you can never tell what someone’s really like until you meet them.

I once bought a Windows-based laptop, and it was such a nightmare to use, I nearly threw it out the window (unintended pun). Eventually I took it back to the shop, and they told me they wouldn’t be able to refund me the full amount. I said “Just take it back anyway!”

I bought a MacBook instead – that was back in 2007, and I still have it. It’s a bit heavy, but in great working order. That’s why I love Steve Jobs.

    • Hi Debra – I think this is a great question. I started looking into it recently because my mum sadly died a few months ago, and I inherited her 2011 desktop iMac. It’s in great condition, but the OS system can’t be upgraded from 10.7.5 unless I upgrade the RAM. At least, I think this is the case – I’m not very technically savvy.

I’m in the UK and I found this excellent post on how to upgrade your iMac or MacBook – it gives different solutions for various years:
      https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac/how-upgrade-mac-3656129/

I bought a new battery for my 2007 MacBook recently. It cost £20. I bought extra parts to upgrade my old iPhone 4 with help from a YouTube channel called Strange Parts. It had a few episodes where the guy, who was living in China at the time, built an iPhone from scratch, assembling it from various parts that he was able to buy there. So you should definitely be able to upgrade your desktop Mac with online info, and any parts you need should be available online too.

I think this is a really important subject, because phones and laptops are almost all being made with built-in batteries now. I’ve also heard that they have more built-in spying gear and “back doors” (there was something on the Corbett Report about this a while ago). So it’s definitely worth holding on to your old Mac.

      • I’m trying to wean myself away from my cellphone. Good luck with the Mac!

  10. Hi Jeremy,

I found a number of points made to be of interest, regarding the your analysis of the presentation of information in the episode. Two that spring to mind, based on my recollection of Corbett Report material from the past:

    1) I don’t believe there was an insinuation that the reference to the case against Microsoft was somehow a way of advocating for anti-trust law and the relevant state powers that come with it. Given the context, it seemed to me as though the goal was to illustrate the Rather, the segment seemed to clearly provide a contextual set-up to the role in which Gates/Microsoft/related organizational structures formed a capture of the market in the relevant historical timeframe. Regardless, at least per my recollection from “How Big Oil Conquered the World,” I don’t think there should be any mistake that Corbett is advocating for anti-monopoly law via the state (in fact, I recall that was one of the _key points_ of that segment of the documentary)

    2) In a later comment, you mention that:

“If I am to share James’s work–which I have and want to continue to do—James is going to have to present facts objectivity”

Although I think I understand your point, I would suggest considering the underlying proposition in this argument- namely, that a journalist (or reporter, or anyone) can “objectively” report. I believe James has even spoken extensively about the fallacy of this position- if I recall, the most relevant podcast would be:

“Episode 265 – The Myth of Journalistic Objectivity”

Perhaps the core point about the “myth of journalistic objectivity,” or rejecting the notion that we should expect even the possibility of “objective” reporting, is this portion of the discussion thread (as we see from the varied interpretations of the piece from myself, Jeremy, and all of the other commenters here, let alone James’ personal intentions).

    Best,
    -Chris

    • Of course- I just recently subscribed (officially!), so I’m looking forward to reading and discussing all of the perspectives of other members’ about Corbett’s publications. Hope all is well,

      -Chris

  11. Praise Gates when he does provide a product that brought billions of dollars of value into the world.

You jest, surely. The base of this “value” was bought and stolen software, ancestral funding and monopolies.

  12. I think it might be a good or a bad idea, pill. Being indecisive makes me always right. Or is it never wrong?

On a more serious note, thanks for the reference, I was unaware of this desktop product.

    • I have to say, this looks like one resource hungry application for what it is. Almost 400MB of RAM for a simple client, I can’t wrap my mind around that.

But anyway, I surely need to get more involved with using IPFS.

      • it looks interesting, the basic idea is good.
initiatives likes this are worth investigating
cz we might become dependant on it in the very near future.

  13. Thanks for your thorough research and clear reporting.
Maybe he is not all bad, even if we have to protect ourselves from his recent initiatives. Maybe he is being manipulated by forces or interest that even he does not see, myopia and all.

    • Thanks for your observations.

Is it possible that a lot of his critics, such as the French commentator, are simply jealous?

If the common concern here and now is health, starting with private health, yours and mine, health freedom, and blocking the idea of mandated vaccines, extending your metaphor, let us not try to take down his poster. His poster will be up as long as he is alive and coherent.

Let us put up another poster, possibly next to his poster, with a beautiful woman asking simple questions, such as:

      1. Is it possible that vaccines are not safe and effective for everybody?

      2. If vaccines are safe, then how do you explain the fact that the US government (in secret “vaccine court” sessions) has paid out more than four billion dollars to people or to the families of people who have been injured by vaccines? How do you explain the fact that in the US vaccine manufacturers are free of any liability for the consequences of their products, unlike all other manufacturers, such as food, cars, and so on?

      3. The current vaccine cartel (Pfizer, GSK, Sanofi, and Merck) are serial felons. For their other products, in the last ten years or so, they have paid out a total of more than thirty-five billion dollars in criminal penalties for falsifying test data, defrauding the regulator, bribing doctors, and intentionally selling products that they knew would harm some people. So regarding vaccines, have they somehow found Jesus?

Particularly to the undecided, or to the zombies who are now walking around with facemasks, gloves, and lathering themselves with hand sanitizer, or even to friends and family that are still watching tv and believing what they hear about vaccines, and so on, then perhaps asking these questions will prompt them to think and to look at another poster instead.

Of course, some people just want to believe in vaccines. If they have been trained to believe in vaccines, or if their salary depends on their believing in vaccines, then no reason, logic, or question can reach them, but for the rest, perhaps asking these questions privately and publicly, will prompt them to think and then to resist.

None of these questions are original to me. There is an excellent, free webinar still online for a day or two called “The Truth about Vaccines”, including interviews with knowledgeable doctors and evidence.

      • good idea to invert the propatainment. The media is clearly the biggest weapon that has half the population by the short and curlies. in Tibetan Buddhist energy work (from the “Tibetan book of living and dying”) the antidote to the negative aspect of any gesture is its polar opposite; i.e.. a tendency towards greed can be countered with generosity, or pride can be dissolved with selfless service, and so on.

    • …the conclusion that Gates genuinely believes what he’s doing is good for mankind.

I think that many sociopaths believe what they are doing is for the good.

      Examples:
~~Neocons – America as the dominate force of the world is a “good thing”, and justifies anything necessary to achieve that.

~~Rockefeller – Rockefeller family in control is a “good thing”. It benefits the Rockefeller family, because they know what is best. …what is best, benefits the Rockefeller family.

During this COVID era, we are noticing how those who have lusted for power their entire careers, the technocrats, are administering “What is best” “What is good” with their mandates.

To me, this era highlights the sick mind-think of those who want to dictate and control the lives of others, to administrate how others should live.

Many grunts think this control is okay.
      Not this here grunt.

    • “…with all eyes on him, is there something else we’re not looking at?”
Sure, tonnes of things happening at the same time, but billy is unique mf and deserves special attention.
Also, people are asking who is the villain when something is wrong.
Bill is just perfect villain and excellent narrative can be made. Maybe I sound sarcastic, however…it’s true.

      “…Gates genuinely believes…”
Billions of people believe in fairy tales they’ve been fed with. Humans have perfected the art of deceiving themselves.

  14. That slippery, little, arrogant shit; the deposition segment reminded me of Bill Clinton’s “depends on what the meaning of is is”.

Much appreciated, James and Broc. I’m looking forward to part 2.

    • Even at that youthful age, you can see his benevolence shine through. You’d have to be mad to not want your children protected by Bill’s shots in the arm!

      I read these points recently:

Imagine being able to announce your intention to kill 900 million people.
Imagine devising a plan so cunning that people line up to be complicit in their own murders.
Imagine having the resources to put that plan into action and the power to publicly share your intention without any fear of repercussions.
      This is pure psychopathy.

      • “Even at that youthful age, you can see his benevolence shine through. You’d have to be mad to not want your children protected by Bill’s shots in the arm!”

        Haha! Exactly.

Add to those scary points patent number WO2020060606 of the “Cryptocurrency System Using Body Activity Data” (I’d be interested to learn how that number was assigned. By a wise and wary inside clerk is my guess).

      • Hotfoot, what horrifyingly accurate points those are! Too bad they aren’t merely “imaginary,” huh?

Yes, it’s pure psychopathy, alright. It’s also an example of how pure evil casts its hypnotic spell on its en-TRANCE-d victims. Hence the need for alertness, wakefulness, as you well know.

Aside: At the 12:49 mark in the video, there’s a blue-gloved hand with “Stop coronavirus” sloppily scribbled on two strips of masking tape slapped on its palm. When I hastily read the words, I thought they said: “Stop coronyism”! I’m serious!

Would that be called a Freudian glance? 🙂

        • “Bill, just for the record, could you perhaps clarify for us exactly what you mean when you say we can lower global population by 10 to 15 percent through the use of vaccines?”

          (…10 second silence…)

“I’m not sure what you mean by ‘clarify'”

  15. Welcome Aboard Debra.b
You are a valuable contribution too. Lets hear what’s going on in your neck of the woods. Glade you have joined the community.

    • Hey there, debra.b, yeah, I know what county is treated like a borough of NYC, because a chunk of my 36 years in CT included living in that very county (in Greenwich, New Canaan, and Old Norwalk, to be precise) and commuting to Manhattan.

Have you ever met Richard Grove, BTW? He lives somewhere in CT, possibly near New Haven.

I don’t even try to “reach” the part of my family who lives upstate from you, in Canton, because they would be unable to handle the truth emotionally.

Having two immunocompromised sisters has made me acutely aware of and responsive to their needs. One sister, though, has become very active in the “vaccine awareness” movement, and that has helped her be willing to open her eyes to more and more of the truth. I don’t overload her with other info, though, because she can bear it in only small doses.

Anyway, all this is to say that I, along with others here, can relate to you, and I join GBW in wishing you well.

      Signed,

      • Debra,
Dr. Brownstein – COVID Cases on YouTube have been working very well for me in ‘bringing down the fear’.
You hear cases saying: “I thought I was going to die.”
Here is a story of a lady who had it for over a month, was in the hospital but left because they weren’t helping her get well.
        https://youtu.be/fdat7OrEnK8

Perhaps sharing it with family members might help. There are profound successful actions in his series of videos.

      • debra.b, am grateful you have family — and they have you — near ‘n’ dear!

Am also grateful you attended SHook Elementary well before it turned into SHoax (hook ’em with a hoax, huh?). 🙂

Please give my never-left-behind-Nutmegger-heart best to your sisters and mom, and take good care of yourself, new friend. CQ

    • Debra.b, thank you for your kind thoughts. Fear can paralyze people, making it hard to make rational decisions. Sue is a skittish filly every day without all this craziness. I will leave this for you to help eliminate any fear you may be having over this scam-demic. A good con man will introduce an irritant to induce fear or panic. This irritation that has been introduced is sufficient and can be deadly if you might be compromised and believe in the present medical system , who by the way is in on the grift.
John Titus has some ideas on the scam, con, grift. I hope this comforts any fears you may have.

      • dear SW conn.,
Your difficulty in sharing the deception angle with family or friends is a topic that someone must be writing a dissertation on, or perhaps already has. It is a common sad fact amongst any humans I’ve met, well put by Sam Clemens, and but James has quoted this as well as many others, especially over the past 2 decades. It goes something like: Its much easier to fool someone, than it is to convince them that they’ve been fooled. Understanding that phenomenon, a complete psychological deconstruction of that sad dynamic amongst humanity is likely a big key to how and why the pyramid of powerful cowards can exist at all.

if you figure out how to pierce that bubble let us all know.

    • And that’s “confirmed or presumed”. Presumed is Alice in the Wonderlan type of stuff, while confirmed ones are very much open to discussion.

    • Ah! Another gem! My day is going to be most busy tomorrow!

Okay, I gotta get to sleep…?✨?

      • Just finished watching the Griffin interview. Very insightful information on controlled opposition, how different groups use it, etc. Positively diabolical and makes me pause on “taking sides”. I very much resent being manipulated. Thanks again!

  16. With that glowing introduction, I gotta see this London Real interview! Thanks MissTerious.

Your conclusion on Trump sounds right to me. I started that interview between Webb and Farmer last weekend but had to put it on hold, then forgot all about it, so this was a most necessary reminder. Thanks again!

    • pearl, I second Miss Terious’ approbation of Whitney’s interview with her “new employer” (so to speak), Ryan Cristian of TLAV.

Even though someone mentioned the Kaufman interview on London Real before, my appetite for watching it wasn’t whetted ’til I read Miss T.’s “glowing introduction.” So off to London I tromp right now, ladies . . .

P.S. Maria Farmer is one brave survivor — a true hero.

  17. Excellent Doco James and Broc!

It’s pretty clear that he intends to make everyone take the vaccine with the numbers he is outlining here in this story today.

Bill Gates says the world would need as many as 14 billion doses of a coronavirus vaccine to stop the virus
    https://www.businessinsider.com.au/bill-gates-14-billion-doses-coronavirus-vaccine-may-be-needed-2020-5?r=US&IR=T

“We need to manufacture and distribute at least 7 billion doses of the vaccine, that number could be 14 billion, if it’s a multi-dose vaccine.” He said the vaccines should be distributed as soon as the first batch is ready to go.

So it sounds like everyone gets a vaccine, regardless if or not if you have already been exposed to coup vid-19 or not.

I take that as a threat against my person for the purposes of self defense.

  18. Can the alarm clock clang any louder? and round and round goes the “you just cant make this stuff up” wheel of misfortune.

as for the few comments above that attempt to pardon or balance what is gearing up to be a quick glimpse at unrivalled brutality, I suggest maybe double your red pill dose until you can accept that lies do get foisted, and these grouchy bills are either genius at it or are lost in anasogia (a fancy name for “not being conscious at the time” used in courts to pardon mass murderers and such). This idea, which is unprovable, may have some shards of truth, but if it is true at all, that humans can act without any awareness, then so is the factor of serial liars believing their lies are truth.. Its messy, dubious, and ffs when it looks and smells like it, then most likely it is.

Bill’s concern over answering directly about even whether he had “concern”, was showing that he had something to hide. Its a waste of energy proving he’s off chops, of course he is; the money question is “what are we going to do about him and the horse he’s riding?”

I’m looking for ideas. If I had a good one we might not be having these discouraging days of the sprung lie. alas i’ve grappled for nearly two decades with the question, and it sure would be nice to have a reliable antidote.

Even when the bad guys are so exposed they still trundle on. I spose its because they own the guns and minds of the storm troopers, and soon a whole lot of witch hunters. I cant help drawing parallels to ww2 (fivjee on every lamp post like automatic unmanned guns on the berlin wall, and every other neighbour paid to spy on every other neighbour). Or imagining the efficacy of continued assault and getting away with it as having a back-up that’s out of reach of any/all investigative journalism, because its unseen or hiding Antarctica or because maybe nobody’s in charge? One doesn’t have to get esoteric to admit that far greater intelligence than ours has left finger prints (evidenced by the monolithic constructs everywhere. Is it we the sheep-frogs, being herded by various intergalactic concerns? or are we the rotting caterpillar in cacoon soon to be,,,(also guided by a higher intelligence)? or are we mighty forests albeit infiltrated with arsonists. Or is this just another Kalijuga; if Hinduism has it right, better harden the fuck up, cause we’ve still got another 355,000 “human” years to go.

One ah-ha moment was the shot of tony standing significantly shorter than the already small bill. No absolutes intended, I’ve got brilliant relatively less tall friends,, but there is something about why upright-Bass players can be extra tall, chilled/relaxed and gentle.

    great work james, thanks

  19. the Miss Lolita flight logs show clinton and trump’s names. sure looks and sounds like same game different tie. Its gonna take big heart to transmute this swampy thing

  20. Is this in James’ sources among the recent articles already?
    https://foreignpolicy.com/2019/09/20/the-world-knows-an-apocalyptic-pandemic-is-coming/
the CfR journal, author Laurie Garrett (mentions two books of him about the topic)
    from September 2019(!)
mentions+links in first line the UN report https://apps.who.int/gpmb/assets/annual_report/GPMB_annualreport_2019.pdf from the same date
    of
“…the Global Preparedness Monitoring Board (GPMB), which was assembled last year in response to a request from the office of the U.N. secretary-general, and convened jointly by the World Bank and World Health Organization (WHO). Co-chaired by the former WHO head and former Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland…”
I know James mentioned Brundtland in one of his recents reports again, so not unlikely this is already among his sources.

  21. Broc West was clever in using an IBM Monitor to display videos.
    Typically, a TV is used.

  22. I forgot to add this until now. I wonder if James has seen the work of Zed Phoenix on YouTube on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Annoyingly, Zed doesn’t provide show notes with links to his sources, some of which are unnamed insiders, but he does show some documentation in the videos. I’m not sure how much of it would be new information for James.

I won’t provide a link, as the channel is easy to find under “Zed Phoenix”, which is a bizarre pseudonym for a man who used to be known as Ben Fellows. “Ben Fellows” did some very interesting investigative work, and ended up being unjustly jailed for perjury and later pardoned (if I remember rightly). He also got involved in some things which seemed a bit misguided and publicity-seeking, so some people have mixed feelings about him.

I wouldn’t want that to put people off, as he is doing some excellent investigative work.

  23. This Corbett Report Bill Gates Series will have a far reaching impact for years to come.

  24. Thank you so much for this report. I am looking forward to Part II.

  25. Please investigate the context of one of the remedies for Corona19: Hydroxychloroquin(HCQ)and african and asian people who have got a G6PD deficiency (which makes them immune against Malaria)due to their genetics. But a cure or preventive measure which contains HCQ (which is also a part of anti Malaria medicine) may cause death for those people, so the suspicion is here:

Question: So, the whole sure rationale for introducing this lockdown across Europe, that has created such unbelievable side effects and pretty much stopped the whole world on his tracks. You believe is a misguided policy and do you think is doing more harm than good”?

  29. Bill Gates will use your microchipped body to mine cryptocurrency

Microsoft has patented a system that uses human biometrics such as body heat and brain-wave activity to mine cryptocurrency. The patent, filed under international patent number WO-2020-060606 and titled ‘Cryptocurrency System Using Body Data Activity’, leverages human body activity as proof-of-work.

I will avoid the temptation of the patent number ……

    • Lol I guess we’ll know what’s what in a bit longer than a month. I don’t put much stock in numerology, or Satan for that matter, but it looks quite definitive that these guys do.

    • Yep this was touched on in the latest ep of New World Next Week

  30. I seen an article on RT https://www.rt.com/news/487634-mikhalkov-bill-gates-microchip-implants/ that had a Microsoft Patent for an implant that lets the victim earn crypto.

James and the gang will probably know this already but just in case I thought I would post.

  31. Something concerning I’ve been thinking about in the last few days is the outrageous and belligerent campaign against Bill Gates in the comments sections of YouTube. It may, and most likely is, going on in other informations mediums. The funny thing about this is that there is no real way for me to prove this, but my sense tells me that there is a campaign being waged to make those who oppose Gates look like outrageous, unreasonable lunatics.

Obviously there is reason to investigate Bill Gates. He is pushing vaccines big time–vaccines tattoos, vaccine passports, depopulation, etc. However, there seems to be an unintellectual belittling of Gates by YouTube commenters. Comments like, “Who is Bill Gates? The Anti-Christ. Simple as that.” There are also what I think of as justified comments that are unfavorable to Gates. But there seems to be a lot of nonsensical comments.

James brought up the alternative media being given the rope to hang itself. Is this severe anti-Gates phenomenon in the same vein, or is this mostly genuine? Don’t know.

    • True. In a way, no matter what is said that is alternative to the mainstream consensus, it will be marginalized in some way, or outright removed from the conversation. The recent video of the 2 doctors comes to mind.

  32. Excellent work James!

I can’t wait for your next week’s episode!

Just as a side note, you were mentioned as an example of “thoughtful analysis” when it comes to independent journalism by Dr. Andrew Kaufman during his interview with Brian Rose on a recent episode of London Real.

I consider this high praise from quite a reputable source.

    Keep up the good work!

  33. Whenever a new major event happens, I always find instructive to go wo Wikileaks and do some seacrhes on the vast amount of documents they have stored for posterity. A quick serch on “coronavirus” reveals a lot of activity around this virus by major institutions over the past 20 years.
This document was referenced in one of the search results:

Middle East Respiratory Syndrome A Global Health Challenge:
    https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2338303

Very enlightening document from 2015 where you can read (among the other things):

    —-
During the SARS outbreak of 2003, China and Sin-
gapore employed mass quarantines in apartment complexes or other
structures, monitored by armed guards or ankle bracelets. The Re-
public of Korea placed more than 3000 individuals exposed to
MERS-CoV in quarantine, mostly at home, but some in state-
designated facilities. **Authorities were tracking cell phone signals to
    monitor patient compliance.**
    —-
Hong Kong issued a “red alert” advising
against unnecessary travel to the Republic of Korea—a decision likely
to be followed by other countries. This contravenes WHO guid-
ance, which finds travel restrictions ineffective due to lack of com-
    munity transmission.
    —–
6 WHO has urged the reopening of schools, and the
Republic of Korea has begun doing so. School closures may have a
role with novel influenzas, but are unproven for MERS-CoV given the
    lack of community transmission.
    —–

    But this is the bombshell:

“Public health measures—infection prevention and con-
trol, isolation, contact tracing, and quarantine—
historically have controlled MERS-CoV and were also
widely employed during SARS and Ebola outbreaks.”

CONTACT TRACING! Yes, the term for the most orwellian is not a 2020 nologism. It had already started circulating in the academic mind years ago.

Voila’ …. nothing new under the sun!

    • That makes me wonder who is the academic “genius” who actually coined the term first 😉

  34. To take away their power take away their money. To take away their money we switch to Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency for that matter.
That’s what we can do and everyone can do it.
Yes, yes, I know it’s not perfect but it’s a start and a whole lot better.

  35. In relation to the Rockefeller / Gates connection, David Letterman’s showcase (My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix) of the Melinda Gates and the Foundation is illuminating. Melinda states clearly that Rockefeller is their inspiration and model.

  36. Controlling Our Health

Ya know…there is missing a common sense logic by many in the population.
Who is in charge of your health? Who has the final say?
    Is it the individual?
    Or an Authority?

I believe that this is the fundamental foundation underlying our entire situation.

The “health hijacking” war against the individual has been going on for decades.
We at Corbett Report can think of many examples (e.g. Monsanto & Corporations, Fluoride, FDA, EPA, etc.)

Who benefits when an authority takes control of an individual’s health?
    Is this an altruistic motivation?

Anyways…James Corbett chose his title well:

  37. hi james, first thanks for all the good work. in an earlier podcast on corona you stressed the importance of contextualization. in this series on bill gates and health the context is rather simple: whatever gates has up his sleeve, his whole organisation is built on the quicksand of 80 years of suppression of essential information about health in general. i tried to explain this in an earlier comment, which you may find at https://www.corbettreport.com/coronavirus-the-cures-will-be-worse-than-the-disease/#comment-73039 and following.

gates actually has no way to go, whatever nonsense he spews about epidemics and vaccinations, because there is no biological basis for all he does, not for letting people die and not for the cure he offers. his basis is in ideology, in eugenics actually, and he needs a huge profit making machine in order to promote death.
he is an excellent magicien, but even worse than rockefeller in his total disdain for human life. but then, of course, he does not stand alone.

so when talking about contextualization, the quicksand is the main context, as gates and his killer machine will be swallowed by it almost immediately, if only it becomes visible and understood in plain public sight.

so then starting in a room with computer and internet, together with this simple gates/health dipole and its attachments, how could you proceed.

i would suggest starting with the invisible elephant with this giant “C” written on it’s back. or lets go even further, lets have a look at the room itself. is it not C-shaped, and easy to hide in? there may be other invisible elephants in this room, perhaps even little ones.

searching for more context, we notice this brick-walled room has no doors. but when we panic and desperately start kicking the wall, it turns out to be made of paper with just a full color brick motive stamped on it.

but now that we are out, boy! have we a problem. a desert of death staring at us. there are dead bodies as far as the eye can see. they all have death certificates attached mentioning various causes of death. there is mostly artherosclerosis or cancer or diabetes, but also snakebite and other natural poisons, but strange chemical poisons too, like glyfosate, thimerosal, depleted uranium and a host of old diseases like polio, flu and even suicide, which sounds rather like a psychiatric disease.
a few fresh ones have ‘covid19’, wonder what that might be. the oldest are from the 1930’s, spanning almost a century. there could be a billion corpses in this desolate view.

meanwhile, the elephant with the big “C” on its back is running towards the living, far at the horizon. will he tell them why he was there in and out that room? what he found out from the adsl? will he be able to save them? if only a few.

and what about this giant “C”. would it be “C” for Corbett or “C” for vitamin-C or just “C” for Corona. questions, questions, we will soon see..

  38. Hi James, newbie here, thank you for your well researched podcasts, interviews, articles etc. Im glad i finally found you page. Years ago i watched 9/11 follow the trillions and always wondered ” who the hell is that narrator?” he,s good. I finally made it. Im with you, i think Event 201 is the closest thing to a smoking gun but also i think just as important is Gain Of Function research in getting to the bottom of some mirky water.
Anyway, Thanks for all you do, i will certainly be listening intently but also applying critical thinking as i watched that Nathan Rich video you referenced and that was great in promoting a large swathe of questions towards the data he presented.
    Cheers

What the fk were you all thinking, anyway? Drink and Koolaid spring to mind.

      Jeez…

  42. Right, JEP mentioned drone surveillance.
This statement seems plausible. Could you share the source? Thanks

  43. It would be great if you could include a link in part 2 to the EU announcement on 3 May which Iain Davis pointed out at the end of your interview with him.

The global response: Working together to help the world get better (https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/AC_20_795)

“We support the World Health Organisation and we are delighted to join forces with experienced organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust.

Every single euro or dollar that we raise together will be channelled primarily through recognised global health organisations such as CEPI, Gavi, the Vaccines Alliance, as well as the Global Fund and Unitaid into developing and deploying as quickly as possible…”

  44. I like Infographics and Timelines.
    They make digestion work easier.

  45. Andrew Schulman blew the whistle on Gates’ techniques for crushing the competition in his books:

Undocumented DOS: A Programmer’s Guide to Reserved MS-DOS Functions and Data Structures/Book and Disk

Undocumented Windows: A Programmers Guide to Reserved Microsoft Windows Api Functions

Unauthorized Windows 95: A Developer’s Guide to Exploring the Foundations of Windows “Chicago”

Microsoft would do things like: leverage secret capabilities in the operating system that were not shared with their competitors also developing applications for the Microsoft O/S; time the release of new versions of Microsoft O/S to paralyze their competitors, i.e., which version of the O/S software should they make their software compatible with, and forcing competitors onto Microsoft’s release schedule; and with license and software bundling deals that froze out the competition.

  46. Hi Ott,
    thanks for that!
Like Alexandre, I am interested in doing the Portuguese Version.
How do I get the English Version?
I know some time ago there was a how-to about how to create or translate subtitles, but I cannot find it any more.

    @Alexandre:
we need to coordinate. please write me individually under my display-name at riseup.net

    Thanks!

    • Go to the video (youtube), click the cog icon (settings), click “subtitles/CC”, click “Add subtitles/CC” and a new window will open.

Choose your language and then you’ll see an “Actions” which, when clicked, expands a menu with options to download and upload the subtitles file. Or you can do the translation on that page itself.

      • Thanks, mkey! Excellent.

        Ott says:
In case people are interested in creating subtitles for this video (as well the following parts), I am currently creating proper English ones based on the transcript with good time stamps, which can replace the auto-generated ones.

Based on that, it will be easier to create subtitles in any other language.
When they are ready, I will send them to James and they will be added to the original video. (This to avoid double work.)

    • Speak the truth to posterity. That’s all the motivation you need, if you are interested in continuing with your efforts.

      • Hi Alexandre. If you don’t mind my asking, what’s the latest in your world? I’ve been missing your comments. Hope you’re well.

        • Have you seen that video about the fake hospital in Brazil, with supposed 5000 ill and 200 dead?

        • Profoundly thoughtful reflections, Alexandre. You are no troll.

I understand you completely, especially as it pertains to “doing something”. For me, it’s more about wondering if there remains some place to escape to. More than anything, I feel like we’re in the calm before the storm.

That Swedish analogy hit the bull’s eye. It is all so very insane.

And your sister? Is she coming around to realize you’ve been right all along?

        • No, I haven’t seen the mask/air quality video, but I’ve read Dr. Blaylock’s article on them not being healthy.

But I found the beach article embedded in an essay posted at Off-Guardian:

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council said people had “defied advice to stay away” and condemned them as “irresponsible” as services struggle to cope.

Visitors swarmed to Britain’s beaches as the country sweltered in its two hottest days of the year so far, peaking at 32.6C (90.68F) yesterday and 33.3C (91.94F) today, both recorded at Heathrow Airport.

Sky’s Sam Holder said some people have been gathering in groups of 20 to 30, and there is now a sense amongst locals “that they fear that this could be the start of a second wave and that the people of Bournemouth will suffer as a result”.

          [—]

“I am afraid people were asked by the government to show common sense and at times there has not been much evidence of that being on display. We are still in the middle of a pandemic.”

          news.sky.com/story/major-incident-declared-in-bournemouth-as-thousands-of-people-flock-to-beaches-12014686

And on it goes. I think the most shocking thing I got out of the article is that 91 degrees Fahrenheit is called “soaring temperatures”. That’s a typical, mild summer day where I am. And they left behind 33 tonnes of waste?! Not cool. If true, it’s just more gasoline on the fire; maternal-fascism’s Mommie Dearest is gonna be pissed! Did you see that video mkey posted on maternal fascism? Very interesting.

  48. 17:00 Oh, the Coca Cola jokes!! That sounds familiar.

Warren Buffet (a philanthropist-buddy of Bill Gates) does the same thing.

He makes jokes and openly admits to selling what he owns lots of shares in.

Whenever he has an interview on mainstream news etc, he arranges for Coca Cola to be visible to the public.

Most of Bill Gate’s fortune is invested in Berkshire Hathaway; the conglomerate headed by Warren Buffet.

I find it a little troubling how she can sell Coca Cola while discussing issues like that.

  49. There was an excellent interview of the former director of the WHO World Medicines Program, Germán Velásquez, with some gems like:

Q: “What do you understand by the privatization process, with what interests and with what objectives?

A: “The problem with voluntary donations is that the donor decides what [his money] is for, so he escapes from the deliberations and the formulation of priorities that are set by all countries worldwide. For us to understand, more than 80% of the WHO budget is private or public, but voluntary contributions, which are concentrated in different countries, in the Bill Gates Foundation and in the pharmaceutical industry”

Q: “According to WHO’s own funding data, this organization has received $ 90 million in donations from the major pharmaceutical companies. Do these donations condition WHO’s independence when making decisions?”

A: “Absolutely. An example, 90% of the Drug Program (which was directed by Germán Velásquez) is now financed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, they are giving the money only for the matters that Bill Gates is interested in, in such a way that the program only focuses on projects for which it has money, the rest remains on paper. For example, nothing is being done about the rational use of medicines program”

Q: “There are those who think that the problem with these millionaire contributions from the pharmaceutical industry is that the WHO can make public health decisions that may end up benefiting these same companies. Is this speculation? Or is it a true theory?”

A: “It is a theory that is absolutely true, it has happened, and it is happening. When a donor gives money, for example, the pharmaceutical industry, these representatives request to be present in the expert committees of the different [WHO] programs. There is a serious conflict of interest. It happened with the H1N1 epidemic, potential vaccine and drug makers, like Tamiflu, were sitting on the committee that was deciding whether to launch an epidemic or not, obviously [the drug companies] pushed the epidemic was launched and there was a global alarm because they were going to have an impressive market.”

You can listen to the full interview (from 2016, in Spanish) here:

    https://cadenaser.com/ser/2016/06/16/sociedad/1466079742_072124.html

There was also some interesting conversation about the red book, for which he was attacked and received death threats. You can read about that here:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2001/aug/31/aids.johnvidal

Another of his conclusions after 20 years in the WHO was: “80% of the drugs only try to be profitable for the industry, instead of curing”:

    https://www.publico.es/sociedad/german-velasquez-80-medicamentos-tratan.html

    • This indeed sounds explosive. Hopefully, there is a translated transcript somewhere.

      • I tried to find a translated version but I didn’t find it anywhere. I will translate it myself and upload it soon.

          • Yeah, he is a bit naive about that. He seems to be a great guy that speaks clearly about the dirty stuff happening inside the WHO. The proportion of good people in the WHO is going down by the day. IMHO, all those multilateral agencies should be immediately terminated as they only serve the elite (some in the short run, others in the long run).

  50. Re: Global Fund

The iOS App Store featured an article today called How (RED) Is Handling Two Pandemics, where it discusses how Apple continues to donate via “(RED)” to the Global Fund (discussed by James in his documentary and referenced below by Apple’s article). Up until recently, (RED) donated funds toward HIV/AIDS, among other diseases, and now they will be donating toward fighting COVID-19.

    https://apps.apple.com/story/id1535046442/

    From Apple’s article:
Choose (RED), save lives. Since 2006, these four words have played a bright and visible role in confronting HIV/AIDS, offering a way for people around the world to join in by doing things they already do.

For 14 years, a portion of every purchase of Apple’s (PRODUCT)RED offerings has gone to provide counseling, testing, and medication services in sub-Saharan Africa. Apple customers have helped raise almost 250 million USD to date.

…Funds raised from these purchases go to the Global Fund, a partnership among governments, health organizations, and the private sector to distribute funds to local groups fighting three of the world’s biggest—yet preventable—diseases: HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria.

…But the work would be far from over in a typical year—and 2020 was far from typical. According to Luisa Engel, chief strategy and impact officer for (RED), the organization has spent 2020 battling not just HIV/AIDS but also the effects of COVID-19.

“Every global crisis hits the most vulnerable populations hardest,” says Engel. “These pandemics are inextricably linked, particularly in the African communities in which we work. Luckily, our partners said, ‘We’re still in the AIDS fight, but we also want to get involved in the COVID-19 response.’”

    • (continued from previous post):

From this documentary, How Bill Gates Monopolized Global Health, the Global Fund is explained in it’s context to Bill Gates and the WHO:
Gates provided the seed money that created the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, a public-private partnership that acts as a finance vehicle for governmental AIDS, TB, and malaria programs.

…What’s more, current World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is, in fact, like Bill Gates himself, not a medical doctor at all, but the controversial ex-Minister of Health of Ethiopia, who was accused of covering up three cholera outbreaks in the country during his tenure. Before joining the WHO, he served as chair of the Gates-founded Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and sat on the board of the Gates-founded Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the Gates-funded Stop TB Partnership.

I browsed the Global Fund 2019 Annual Financial Report, which in it includes a statement about Bill Gates: “The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is funding up to USD 18 million for the period 2019-2022 for strategic work covering key areas such as adolescent girls and young women, innovative and domestic finance, national strategic plan application and resilient and sustainable systems for health.”

On page 26 it lists private foundations that donate to the Global Fund. There are only four, and two of them include the Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation. It lists the Gates Foundation Total Pledges for 2020-2022 at $760,000,000 and Total Contributions Received from 2017-2019 at $637,710,202. So this is just one more to add to the list where Gates has his fingers in not only the world health pie, but specifically the COVID-19 pie.
