  1. YouTube bans alt-news channel Activist Post without warning or reason
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLyz42xXZvw

I see a silver lining in all of this, as youtube gets more and more obvious with their actions, there will be an increased potential for waking some sheeple up. Youtube can’t get more in-the-face than this. These moves are also bound to fuel alternative sites.

    • Their entire account was deleted. RT discussed their most recent video, which on its own wasn’t controversial in the least. Similar to the recent Syrian girl which was deleted from youtube because of “racism,” as we already discussed it in the other thread.

Waters are muddy indeed. I think too there is an ensuing crackdown and hopfully more people will start too really look at what is going on since less and less will be exposed to open discussion in the (near) future.

  2. Is there some strong evidence proving beyond reasonable doubt NASA landed people on the moon? There’s a number of very odd bits and pieces of information scattered around which certainly imply that at least part of what NASA and affiliated media produce is not genuine. To mention a few of those from the top of my head:

    – the statement from the NASA employee stating that the required technology was “lost” and so no further trips to the moon have been scheduled. Granted, this guy might just not be of sound mind and therefore isn’t proof of collusion
    – several recordings showing usually newspeople in “space” while in high probability they are under the influence of gravity. Granted, media fakery is omnipresent
    – videos showing some odd movements by astronauts on the space station or other objects orbiting around

  3. You start NWNW with the Las Vegas shooting and rightly call it out for being promoted as THE ‘story of the day’ you must watch/read/talk about.

But then you immediately follow it up with an autonomous car (AC) story which has been haunting us by the MSM for weeks/months/years now. A story they want us to watch/read/talk about! How ironic.

But you quickly say, this is different, it WILL be coming so we should be prepared and plan for it wisely.

Well in the last installment that was foisted upon me by the MSM a week or so ago I learned about all the reasons AC’s will be coming and why they are so great.

BUT… around 2/3’s of the way through the piece they started to leak in dribs and drabs some potential legal nightmares that AC’s could produce.

    Just a couple:

    1. The insurance industry will never pass on to the auto industry the insurance bill for these cars.

Despite the fact that the passengers will have no control whatsoever in the driving of these AC’s, they will still be stuck with the car insurance in the event of an accident!

    2. Scenario #101; car comes around a bend. Unexpectedly a crowd of people are standing on the road. AC must decide who to kill.
The crowd on the road, or swerve off the road and kill the passengers?

You can listen to the full episode here:

BTW mkey, with the cursory investigation I have put into the moon landings so far (I was around when it supposedly took place) I too would appreciate “evidence proving beyond reasonable doubt NASA landed people on the moon”.

    • I didn’t consider the bit about insureance, that’s a real conundrum. Of course, users will be footing the bill, but there is bound to be some docile public outlash.

  4. I’d personally prefer a reasonably well maintained railway system which would provide a lot safer traveling experience, less stress and substantially less pollution. The added benefit of being able to socialize with people when out and about instead of raging mostly alone on the road.

  5. ICYMI: Judiciary Committee Leaders Unveil the USA Liberty Act Press Release October 5th, 2017

Today, members of the House Judiciary Committee, DHS and others “held a press conference to unveil the USA Liberty Act. This bipartisan bill, which will be introduced tomorrow, reforms and reauthorizes Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to protect national security and civil liberties.

Tomorrow, we plan to introduce the USA Liberty Act. This bill preserves the core purpose of Section 702: the collection of communications by targeted non-U.S. persons in order to identify and thwart terrorist plots against our nation and our citizens. The bill also creates a new framework of protections and transparency requirements to ensure that the government’s use of Section 702 accords with principles enshrined in our Constitution that protect individual liberty.”
    https://judiciary.house.gov/press-release/icymi-judiciary-committee-leaders-unveil-usa-liberty-act/

Within the official summary of the act itself, linked in the press release, I found a couple points I think are important at the end of the summary.

    Protects National Security
-The bill reauthorizes FISA Section 702 for another six years through September 30, 2023.
-Leaks of classifed information endanger U.S. national security and the lives of our citizens. The USA Liberty Act enhances the penalty for the unauthorized removal and retention of classifed information, raising the penalty from “up to one year” to “up to fve years.”
-The bill states that federal government agencies should share national security and foreign intelligence information among the intelligence community in order to thwart terror plots.
-The bill also states that the United States should share information collected via 702 with allies in order to combat terrorism.

    https://judiciary.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/100517-USA-Liberty-Act.pdf

Reauthorizing FISA Section 702 for another six years, yay…Since this is just a summary, I’m sure there will be more little nuggets inside the actual bill itself when it is introduced tomorrow

  6. James Evan Pilato brought up servers towards the end. The other day, I watched an older Corbett video “Alexander Hamilton” which YouTube recommended. (Go figure why they threw that at me.) In the Hamilton video, Corbett mentions the cost of server space. My jaw dropped and that night I had nightmares about monthly server costs and the IRS chasing me in driverless cars. (last part…just joking.)

Does anyone know about the cost of these things?

    • “Does anyone know about the cost of these things?”

The cost of servers or driverless cars?

Speaking about the cost of these cars…
In the episode I referenced above they went into detail
about these cars being not just automated, but also electric.

Well BIG OIL won’t take too kindly to this.
They’ll either make sure AC’s are a failure or they will
start to diversify and also become BIG ELECTRIC.

  7. Aron,

I agree. In order to make sense of day-to-day events, it is vital that the information culture, if you will, supports eye-witness, open-source, grass roots reporting and that these sources remain accessible and in the public eye. In the July 2017 Backgrounder report, “The Weaponization of Information in the War of Terror” (https://www.corbettreport.com/the-weaponization-of-information-in-the-war-of-terror/), which I urge all to see, James speaks to the threats the free and open internet is increasingly facing: “Governments around the world are enacting laws and empowering their own intelligence services to surveil and control their own populations, curtailing the ability of independent media to counter the mainstream propaganda.” Elsewhere he speaks of the implications of this development: “At stake is not just the ability for the deep state to set the narrative of these terror events uncorrected by independent online reporters, but to define the very meaning of ‘terrorism’ itself.”

Regarding the events in Las Vegas, the weaponized reporting by the controlled media is an example of how individuals behind such events attempt to manipulate public opinion, steer public policy and lock-down our lives. The rationale put forth by anonymous “John” for such an attack and his citing of a “high incident project” makes sense. Truthstream Media in their recent video report (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=zNqxUuyHFzc), “Eerie Predictions in Vegas… Cui Bono?” start in shortly after minute 3 and 5 seconds with the 4chan leak as a point of departure and make a number of relevant observations as to who stands to benefit from the crime, including those who have already instituted new post-attack “security” measures in Vegas at the Wynn Resort. I think Truthstream Media is onto something important in their analysis of the event. (They err, however, in saying the shooting went on for over an hour as it was something like 7-10 minutes, depending on the report.)

  8. I logged in just to make this very comment. I don’t think that open source investigations should be shut down just because the media is obviously a tool to manipulate the public.

We have to keep following the money trail to get to the truth of the matter.

Please open one for Vegas. Thank you.

  9. I am sure that James Corbett is a strong advocate of Open Source Investigations.

Fortunately, as a free and independent thinker, he drives topics of his choosing.

I think that he chose not to address the Vegas topic. But he will choose other topics in the future. I know his email inbox, comment sections and other communications are filled with James, you should do this…...
Perhaps James could fulfill all of these requests if he was a God or if Chuck Norris* helped him.
