  1. Unfortunately GC Coleman, the drummer of The Winstons died in 2006.
Never being paid any royalties for his drum parts in ‘Amen Brother’, the track where the Amen Break came from. Band member Richard L Spencer received the $24000 but has no plans in sharing this (as of yet) with the family (children and grand children) of Coleman. Its sad, and proves again that music mixed with money is a recipe for disaster.

  2. Hi James,

Regarding your comment about the Calgary Flames in this episode of New World Next Week; I can attest as a Calgarian that Flames games often have military boot kissing propaganda pieces worked into them. No doubt the Department of Nation Defense coordinates these events coast to coast; no way they’re spontaneous.

Nearly every game is opened with the national anthem singer flanked by Canadian Forces and RCMP personnel and often groups of soldiers are singled out by the jumbotron and encouraged to stand while the whole stadium cheers for their service.

I was a Calgary Flames seasons ticket holder for many years but gave up my tickets after the in your face propaganda became too much to bear. Watching 20,000 people salute men in costumes, singing the anthem with tears in their eyes and hands on their hearts was sickening after a while.

  3. Thanks for letting me know about the problem, everyone. Good to know that the NFL won’t even let you show their propaganda ceremonies without taking their cut (hence why you have to stream this episode on YouTube). In the meantime, here’s the downloadable and streamable mp4 on my own server:
