Politicians Need to Dunk Burning Behinds In Bucket of Water

Pants on fire.

While watching the politicians on C-Span and coverage by the mainstream media regarding the bailout of Wall Street last week, I made some very interesting observations. The most interesting was watching the liars pants catch fire while standing before God and Country and the rest of the world as they stripped themselves of any remaining shred of decency and handed their own personal and political pride over to Wall Street and the New World Government Elite.

The so-called plan began with an honest name—Bailout for Wall Street. As the media and politicians began to understand that this honesty was causing the public to sit up and take notice and that they were not happy with what was nothing short of indebting future generations of Americans with horrendous taxation, the likes of which the world has never seen, the Bailout suddenly became a Rescue Plan. This type of spin is typical, but for once the people are not buying it. One blond-haired blue-eyed newscaster slipped up, called it what it is, Bailout, changed the terminology to Rescue Plan and actually admitted on the air that "they" didn't want the newscasters to use the term Bailout anymore. I wonder if she's gotten a demotion for that faux pas? I think she deserves a raise for confirming to anyone watching that the media is in bed with the government and that they are using their talking points to deceive the public at large.

I watched Senator Judd Gregg, a huge proponent of the fearmongering, stand up on C-Span and tell us that if the House of Representatives did not pass this bill, Americans might not be able to use their credit cards or ATM cards this past Monday. Monday came and went and my cards have all been working all this week. Imagine that! If someone wanted to cause a run on the banks, that would have been the perfect way to start one. How many people saw this and rushed to the ATM to withdraw money? So, I have to ask, what was his intention when making such a patently false statement?

I watched Senator John Kerry stand on the Senate floor yesterday and tell a most egregious lie. He stated that people were losing their earnest money deposits on real estate transactions because the banks wouldn't loan the necessary funds to close the deal. Is this millionaire really that ignorant of real estate transactions? Does he not realize that any real estate transaction that requires bank money to close has a clause in it which makes the deal subject to loan approval and disbursement of the money for that loan or the buyer is off the hook for the transaction? This is the most fundamental requirement of a real estate contract which involves bank funding to close the deal and the buyer will NOT lose his earnest money deposit. If he'll lie about this, he'll lie about anything.

I watched Senator Barbara Boxer stand up on the Senate floor and make commentary about how many phone calls her office had received from the public against the bailout. Her excuse was that We The People were actually against the original Paulson Plan and that we didn't realize that the bill had been modified. Thank you, Senator Boxer, for confirming what I've always thought you felt about the rest of us commoners, that We The People are too ignorant to understand what you so-called leaders are doing.

Most of the Senate regurgitated the same talking points as each took their place at the podium for what was supposed to be a debate. One of those talking points I heard repeated ad nauseum was that small business people who used their home equity as a line of credit couldn't get all the credit they needed because the banks cut them off when they discovered they were borrowing more than the home was now worth. Well, this bill is not going to make housing prices rise and any lender worth his salt will cut off credit when the collateral is not worth what is being borrowed. But, these vultures stood up there and made it sound like these home equity lines of credit would suddenly be restored to these small business people, only if this bill is passed.

There were also mulitple caveats about how this bill might not even work. MIGHT NOT WORK???? Are these people out of their (multiple expletives deleted) minds?

Now, the media and their partners, the politicians speak of the &quopt;sweetening" of this bill. No matter how much sugar you heap on top, the bitterness of perpetual debt for the American people and the sourness of being robbed is not going to go away. The price of this sugar is a mere 150 billion, not to mention that this 700 billion was tacked onto an unrelated bill in the Senate, a practice which I have stated before should be prohibited and if necessary, we need an amendment to our Constitution to stop this nonsense once and for all.

There have also been some real heroes in the House and Senate during these dark days, people who have stood their ground and told it like it is and have provided leadership and encouragement to the people in order to help us to withstand this assault on our Republic. I can only hope they continue to stand their ground and do not give in to the Nazi-Commies.

It is time to have public hearings on this issue and to get second opinions on what is really going on here, what we are actually "buying" and what is going to happen to all of us once this evil deed is done.

It's also time to kick out all of those who dared vote for this criminal assault on the public, which is not only egregious and insidious, but also unconstitutional.

How dare they try this same old tired trick? But then, since it's worked so many times before, who can hardly blame them for trying again?

If I hear the comparison of Wall Street to Main Street again, I believe I might just heave. Does the public understand that this is the equivalent of comparing the Monarchy to the Commoners? I think they do. How offensive! Especially when we are being pillaged of hundreds of billions of dollars while being demeaned in this manner!

There is enough of an uproar over this bill to stop it, just like we stopped the immigration bill. If this goes through anyway, against the wishes of so many people, we are truly going to have to take some concrete steps to reign in these Powers That Be.

We can try voting them out, if the electronic voting machines don't get in our way. If that doesn't work, it's time to grab the pitchforks and torches and pay them a visit. It's a visit that is long overdue.
